We enjoyed our stay very much indeed, the bungalow was ideal and everything was very clean and new. The Jumilla complex was beautifully maintained and the neighbours could not have been more friendly and helpful. We found that you really need a car for at least part of the stay. Richard and Audrey. We have just had the most wonderful week in your lovely villa.It was exactly the way it was described.It was so peaceful and quiet we came home perfectly relaxed.Most of the time we had the pool to ourselves and it is super safe and secure on the small gated community (only 28 villas). The kids have made me promise to go back next year.Thank you very much! We will be in contact soon to book again!Tony and Emma from Cornwall. We have just returned from a ten night vacation in your Jumilla villa! Wow!  Your description on your website is accurate and informative. We really enjoyed our stay in the villa. Fantastic, chilled holiday.

Just returned home from a fantastic holiday! Great house in a lovely quiet location. Great pool, right next to the house. Not busy at all! Felt like our own private pool at times! Walking distance to both the beach and le zenia boulevard shopping centre. Which is great for shoppers like us!! Had a really good time and will definitely be back. Alex and Anthony Holliday and boys.

Great location with a lovely pool outside the bungalow

The bungalow was ideal for our 4 week break. In a great location and not in the hussel and bustle but close to bars and resturants only a small walk away.The bungalow was clean and tidy and had every facility required, it was like home from home.My wife loved the roof solarium where she could get the sun all day and I had the pleasure of watching all the Euro footie and Emerdale of course because the new TV in the lounge had all the English channels. Great place to stay and we will certainly be making a return visit subject to availability.

Not good

The complex and pool area is excelent however the bungalow was very dirty, tired and un-kept. we didn't eat or drink there because the fridge was so dirty and unable/wanted to store food and drink in. The onwers dierct photo's/discription do not represent the acual condition of the bunglaow. Very disapointed and won't be stopping here again.

Owner's Response: Hi Andrew, I am very concerned by this and have spoken to the caretaker about your complaint and she assures me that the clean was carried out in the usual manner. I assure every guest that when they arrive they report any issues to myself or the caretaker and it will be sorted out straight away. I am disappointed that you didn't let me know first day you arrived and give me a chance to sort it out, as far as the fridge being so dirty that you couldn't even store anything in it or eat in the kitchen I find unbelievable as I know from all the other reviews and feedback I get that it is not the case. I can assure any future guests that this is not the case and I don't have any issues with a guest highlighting a potential issue but needs to report this immediately so I have the chance to address it. Lovely quiet place

The villa is in a lovely, small quiet place, very private with access to the pool

next to the villa, almost your own private pool it was that quiet even in August.

i have already stayed here once before many years ago and couldn't wait to go back to it. Thanks John we look forward to book with you again.

Perfect setting!

Lovely bungalow in a great location, 5-10mins walk from La florida, which has a good supermarket, bars & restaurants,and nightly entertainment. 10 mins walk to commercial centre with lots more bars & restaurants. Very comfortable accommodation, pool on your doorstep, good communication with owners, transfers from airport with Irene,all went without a hitch.

peaceful and relaxing location, stunning pool

This is our second stay my wife and I have had here which we enjoyed even more than the first, excellent layout with a lovely roof terrace with views over the superb pool which you felt was your own as there were rarely any times when other people used it. We have had a very peaceful and relaxing stay, feeling very safe in the gated community, There are bars and restaurant's within a 5 minute walk and more further afield. There are several supermarkets near by with a hypermarket in the large and impressive shopping center about 20 minute walk away. There are plenty of markets to visit and Punta Prima is lovely with it's promenade to walk along and the excellent Nautilus restaurant.. We will be booking again soon.

We chose our bungalow because it is ideal for young families who don't want to worry about children running off into big complexes. Our son loves playing in the pool and wandering round the gardens. We chose Playa Flamenca because it seems like an up and coming area, lots of things to do, water parks, go karting, immaculate beaches, multinational restaurants etc. Our bungalow is nice and peaceful in a quiet spot on a quiet urbanisation but only 10 minutes walk to busy bustling pubs,restaurants etc. Playa Flamenca has groups of bars and restaurants all over so you can decide if you want a quiet chilled night or a bit busier. All bars/restaurants cater for the children and are very friendly.

Activity and Interests

Nearest Golf : Villa martin golf course at 2 Kilometres Nearest Motorway : Ap7/a7 at 1 Kilometres Nearest Beach : Playa Flamenca at 2 Kilometres Car: recommended

Coast/Beach:

20 mins walk to the beach with a choice of several beaches within driving distance. The city of Torrevieja is just a 10 minute drive, where you will find a host of shops, department stores, pubs, clubs, Ten Pin Bowling, Casino, Aqua Park and so much more. The nearest beaches and coves are just 5 minutes by car and are some of the cleanest and safest in Europe, all beaches in the area have been awarded the European Blue Flag of Excellence. in addition to swimming and sunbathing.

Travel:

Located 15 mins from Murcia airport and 40 mins from Alicante airport. I always get a car as it is good to travel round and see all the different resorts but not essential as airport pick ups can be arranged. Let us know and we can arrange it.

Distances:

10 mins walk to the commercial centre, 5 mins walk to local shops and bars. 10 mins drive to Torrevieja and the water park. 45 mins drive to La Manga. Flights from-Skyscanner -internet. Thompson Flights, Excel Airways, British Airways, RyanAir. Easyjet, Bmibaby, Monarch. Some guests have said they would have had a car for at least part of the stay as the kids got fed up walking.

Further Details:

Cash point machines within walking distance. A number of multi national restaurants close by. Street market within walking distance. The bungalow is a 5 minute drive from Playa Flamenca, Punta Prima and La Zenia beaches with several other blue flag beaches within 15 mins drive. The Torrevieja area has 7 EU blue flag beaches. These range from active beaches with a full range of water sports, activities & services to secluded rocky and sandy coves. Most of the beaches are made up for fine golden sand. All of the major beaches have first aid posts and refreshment areas. La Zenia beach has a large pyramid climbing frame, a must for all youngsters. Also worth a visit are the beaches at Guardamar and Mar Menor with the La Manga strip and its beaches about 40 minutes away. Torrevieja is a bustling town with a lot of shops and bars and restaurants. The Saturday market is one of the largest in Europe and you will find everything here from genuine Spanish handicrafts, to low priced leather goods, shoes, textiles, silver and a huge variety of fresh local produce. A vibrant and colourful place to visit. Torrevieja is full of history, from the Roman pier at La Mata to wonderful churches. Surrounded by the famous salt lagoons of Torrevieja and La Mata, designated as National Parks (over 250 different bird species have been sighted here), they export the salt worldwide.

Our complex is always locked on all the perimeter gates, perfect for those little explorers who try and escape once your back is turned. Very good small community urbanisation with a small number of bungalows sharing facilities, all low rise and immaculate garden areas. Handy for all local commercial centres-citrus, Flamenca beach, Cabo Roig, La Zenia. Sit on the balcony and not hear a sound enjoying a nice glass of vino blanco or go to the bustling bars and restaurants for a livelier night. Only 15 mins from Murcia/San Javier airport or 40 mins from Alicante.

  • Notes on accommodation: Ideal location for children, gated locked complex, perfect for family holidays. The bungalow is situated right next to the communal pool. The local shopping area is just a short walk away, there you will find everything you could possibly need, including 3 supermarkets, pubs, restaurants, post office, dry cleaners, banks, internet cafes etc. There are also many local street markets offering everything from fresh fruit and vegetables, clothes, shoes and traditional Spanish crafts. Jumilla has everything you need for a superb holiday experience, sports and leisure activities, shopping, sightseeing, sun, sea, sand and sangria, what more could you ask for? No pets allowed and no smoking in bungalow. Outside: Patio table and chairs, roof terrace with sun loungers and sea view. The villa is in a very quiet area. It has access to a shared swimming pool, a west facing garden, roof terrace has sun most of the day. The front terrace has a covered area ideal for staying out of midday sun enjoying a nice cool Cerveza, the front of the house having external lighting for night time entertainment. Utility Room: Washing machine, clothes airer, ironing board and iron. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Clean towels and linen are provided on each booking. A charge of 50 euros cleaning is to be paid upon your arrival. Cot linen will not be provided so you would need to bring your own.
