Apartment in La Tzoumaz, Valais, Switzerland - 10 minutes from New Telecabine to Verbier and Shops

This pleasant traditional duplex apartment is at the edge of the village but within easy reach of the shops,telecabine and restaurants. The new telecabine connects skiers with the Verbier ski circuit in a matter of minutes. The apartment offers spacious accomodation including open plan dining, kitchen and living areas. There is an open log fire and two balconies. On the ground floor there is a twin bedded room and balcony,four bedded bunk room and bathroom. There is a further w.c. and shower in the underground garage together with a washing machine and ski storage area.

We are in love of the place.

We spend the New year week last year, and since then we cannot stop talking about going back again for two weeks this Xmas.

Perfect stay

Allready for the third time in this property and yet booked for our wintersport next year. The appartment contains everything needed, is clean and situated next to the busstop. In 5 minutes you reach the cabine. Private parking convenient. Owner is very friendly and makes you feel at home.

Excellent apartment

This is a lovely apartment, good layout, open fire, and right next to the bus stop which takes you straight to the lifts.

It hasnt been done up, so has a traditional and homely feel.

Diana the owner is very nice and easy to deal with.

We liked it so much, we're already booked for next year!

Very good value, especially as La Tzoumaz links into the Verbier lift system.

Owner's Response: This description of my apartment echoes my own opinion very closely! The apartment is not state of the art but more traditional - what else does one need as long as it is clean and comfortable! Also it is more inkeeping with the surroundigs and family friendly.

Location

From the Owner

The apartment is very convienently placed to local amenities and the new six seater cabin takes you to the main ski area of verbier in minutes. The village is also very family friendly.

Activity and Interests

Travel:

Geneva airport is 90 minutes by road or rail. The nearest railway station is at Mayens de Riddes. The apartment can be reached by taxis or bus. Sion airport is only 20 mins distant with direct flights from London.

Distances:

Sion, the capital of the Valais, is about 15km away with shopping facilities, cinemas and museums. The resorts of Crans montana and Zermatt are also close by. Spa bath lovers are also well catered for by 2 spas within short driving distance.

Further Details:

There are endless mountain walks in the area for hikers in the summer, horse riding opportunities and generally everything to make a delightful holiday summer or winter. Equine enthusiasts will love the international showjumping show which takes place every August in Verbier.
