charming cottage with excellent walking routes right in the doorstep

Gunnerside is a lovely quiet little hamlet with fantastic views. We found High Hillways to be charming, cosy, clean and comfortable and in an excellent spot for walking with several routes right on the doorstep. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would certainly recommend to friends.

We bought High Hillways about three years ago because we both instantly fell in love with the house! I remember putting in an offer whilst walking up to view the property before I'd even set foot inside! The property is set up a small very quite grassy lane and has a beautiful South facing aspect.

2 minutes to The Wonderful Kings Head and Ghyll Foot Tearooms/bistro.

2 miles to The Farmers Arms and general store Muker.

2 miles to PB Inn in Low Row.

5 miles to Tann Hill Inn.

6 miles to Reeth - with cashpoint and shops.

Since buying Hill Hillways we have renovated it to a high standard and tried to make it a true home from home. It has cosy rooms, log fires, a well equipped modern kitchen and bathroom, broadband; lovely views and importantly is only a short walk from the pub! Gunnerside is a beautiful village with wonderful views, a great bistro and is surrounded by some of the most stunning scenery the Yorkshire Dales has to offer.
