Apartment in Fuengirola, Costa del Sol, Spain - Private Gardens, Quiet Location although 2 minutes from Beach, Cafes

Our 2 bedroomed apartment is located near the Sohail castle and next 1 minute to the beach. There’s a 15 minute walk along the paseo to town centre and less than 15 minutes by car to the many local golf courses. Both bedrooms and living room have access to large sunny west facing balcony. The apartment is well equipped and tastefully decorated with a modern open plan kitchen including fridge freezer, washing machine and microwave. It’s air conditioned/heating in the lounge and two bedrooms. Main bedroom with fitted wardrobes and large en-suite bathroom. West facing over quite communal gardens. The apartment has excellent internet connection.

Car: not necessary

Coast/Beach:

50m from sandy beach with many beach cafes, restaurants and shops. Bike hire and several children's amenities are close by including cinema, skateboard park, boat hire, table tennis, crazy golf and play areas. A variety of water sports are also available including jet skis, banana boat, paragliding (in high season).

Travel:

Malaga airport is 30 minutes by taxi. There is also an excellent very cheap rail service from the airport to Fuengirola (also 30 minutes). There is a taxi rank right outside the apartment block.

Distances:

Dona Sofia Apartments are situated in a quiet part of Fuengirola, only 2 minutes walk to the beach, with a number of cafes, restaurants and bars within the vicinity.

The local market is held right on the doorstep every Sunday.

Fuengirola town centre and marina are only a 10 minute walk along the Paseo Maritimo with many Spanish bars and restaurants well worth a visit.

There is a large shopping complex in Fuengirola complete with cinemas and cafes within easy walking distance.

Further Details:

Fuengirola is ideal for all ages.

Children can enjoy the Zoo, Aqua Park, Mini train, crazy golf and a new adventure playground all within walking distance of the apartment.

The Sohail Castle is often used for open air concerts and the Bull Ring is frequently used for events (not always for bull fights).

There is a large shopping complex with cinemas and cafes nearby.

Restaurants in Fuengirola are excellent and varied.

The sunny west facing balcony overlooks the Dona Sofia private well-tended gardens, with the beach just across the road (not a busy main road and with plenty of zebra crossings) Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: All bed linen and towels are included (including beach towels). No cleaning service unless requested (extra charge). Other: There is a safe in one of the bedrooms for added security.

Choosing Fuengirola for a recent birthday treat,we were very impressed with this apartment,everything you could want in an ideal location, beautiful large balcony where we had breakfast every morning,Billy and Lynn met us on arrival and were very helpful explaining everything !!the apartment was exellent and we would love to return in the near future .Also sea view an added bonus

The Perfect Two Bedroom Apartment

A clean, well furnished apartment situated on the first floor of the Dona Sofia complex on the quieter side of Fuengerola, between the Hotel Piramides and the Castle.

The four of us arrived late due to flight problems and were greeted by Sue and Steve who got us settled in and explained everything.

We have stayed in the complex over 10 -15 times in different apartments with different owners.

This was our first time with this owner and their apartment and I will not need to check out any others after finding this gem.

Two clean bathrooms and two lovely bedrooms are separated by a privacy door.

Linen cupboards are bunged with extra stuff, the kitchen cupboards are equally packed with extra items and the TV and wifi facilities even stopped our young couple whinging.

Obviously readers will have Googled Fuengerola and know that it is a beautiful coastline town packed with everything, and this apartment is only a few hundred meters away from a long, lovely stretch of a well maintained beach and seafront walk that will get you to the heart of the town in about 20 minutes.

If there is a negative side to this, it is that this apartment is getting so popular that dates are booking up quickly, so take my advice, do what I did, find a date that suits you and get your deposit in fast.

At Last I've found it!!

Superb standard. Best equipped apt ever in 20years. So comfortable. A personal greeting even at such a late arrival was very much appreciated. Billy and Lynn so accomodating and felt I could call them if any probs but no need. A great relaxing hols. Will be going again. Many tthanks both.

Fab property! Perfect in every way!!

We could not have asked for a more perfect location. Right near our favourite beach - El Cielo - and put favourite restaurant - Bar Parasol. Only a two minute walk to the beach. All shops very close too. Lots of good restaurants and bars. The apartment is perfect. Well fitted out, bright, modern and clean with a marvellous balcony. Beds were super comfortable. Kitchen is well equipped and the air conditioning is brilliant. All our dealing with the owner were first rate. Really helpful and polite. Only thing wrong was - we should have stayed longer!!! Will definitely go back. Thank you Billy!!

Very Good.

This apartment was excellent. It's in a brilliant location for beach, bus and train and lots of very good restaurants and bars nearby. The apartment had everything we needed and the balcony was ideal for a late afternoon laze in the sunshine. Billy and Lynn were really helpful and we would certainly rent this apartment again when we go back to Fuengirola. Thanks.
