Great location in a quiet road with views over the Menorcan countryside. Yet within an easy 2-3 minute level walk to the village centre. The village of Cala en Porter is a lively resort with several restaurants, bars, shops, supermarkets and children's activities. There is also a bank and chemist. This large 3 bedroomed villa, sleeps 6 people in comfort. There is an open plan lounge/kitchen diner and comes fully equipped with everything you need for that special break. About the Owner

Way back in the 1980s we first visited the island, staying with friends in their villa here in Calan Porter. It was then that we like so many others fell in love with this beautiful island. After a few more visits and a couple of years had passed we decided to buy a plot of land and build our first villa. The villa Casa Vista was completed in the early 1990s and used by family and friends for some great summer holidays. In the mid 1990s our circumstances changed in the UK so we decided to sell up and move to Menorca buying another villa and swimming pool cleaning business, it is since then we have let Casa Vista and Casa Avellano with Owners Direct.

Thank you Lesley & Ron for a great two weeks in your lovely villa.The location is excellent, as advertised.The villa is well equipped, spotlessly clean and very comfortable throughout.The outside areas are very private and quiet which suited our needs for a nice relaxing holiday.Lesley & Ron visited us several times during our stay to check that everything was ok and we would like to thank Lesley for the welcome pack which we forgot to do when we spoke to Lesley on leaving the villa.We would highly recommend this villa.

Lovely holiday

We have now stayed at this villa 3 times, once with my parents, once with our 8 year old grandson and now on our own and have already booked to go back next year taking our son and his family. The villa is well situated for all amenities and well looked after by Lesley and Ron, providing everything you need to have a lovely holiday. We can't wait to go back next year, and I know Joshua won't be happy when it's time to go home. Thanks Lesley for a lovely holiday.

Coast/Beach:

The bay of Cala en Porter is one of the most popular on this beautiful island and can only be reached from the village centre by road or steps.

Travel:

The airport of Mahon is about 10 kms from the village and the capital is about 12 kms. Car hire is not essential due to the location of this villa as all amenties are close by.

Distances:

If you do choose to hire a car there are a number of places of interest and should be explored if making your first visit to this beautiful island.

Notes:

  • Notes on accommodation: This villa has air-conditioning to all three bedrooms. Forget those hot humid nights and sleep in comfort. Outside: From the patio area off the lounge there are steps down to the private pool and sun terrace. Set in mature and secluded garden there is ample sunbathing area with 6 sunbeds. The pool measures 8 metres long by 4 metres wide with roman steps into the shallow end descending to a depth of 1.85m (6ft). Utility Room: Off the kitchen is a utility area with washing machine and sink. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: All towels and linen are included and changed weekly. The property is cleaned for your arrival. Other: Off the lounge there is a covered patio area for dining alfresco with a table and chairs and a brick built barbecue.
