Townhouse in Gran Alacant, Costa Blanca, Spain - Quiet Location, Close to Shops, Bars, Restaurants and Beach

Set in a quiet area this end terrace house is furnished to a high standard. The two floors are tiled throughout with a marble staircase leading to the first floor. Situated 10 minutes from both the beach and Alicante airport (not on flight path). Approximately 350m to shops bars and restaurants. The local bus service stop is about 200m this runs to Santa Pola and Alicanrte. There also is a little tram service.

great house in perfect location

This was our 2nd stay at this townhouse. Only because we have left it too late to book before this. The townhouse is clean, fresh and provides pretty much everything you could need. The close by pool area is clean and never too busy. The location is perfect, especially for our favorite restaurant Gran Mundo.

Would have no hesitation in recommending anyone to stay here, unless of course it clashes with my desired holiday times.

The only thing (which is no problem) is that the front porch/terrace actually gets too hot when the sun shines in early evening. So you need to go to a local bar,of which there are many, for pre dinner drinkies.

We would like to say what a great time we had, once again, at the Townhouse

A lovely holiday home

This is a lovely house with all the facilities you will need for a fab holiday. The property is clean and well maintained and the key holder was there to meet us when we arrived. Perfectly positioned for local bars/restaurants and a short bus ride to the beach. We will definitely come again!

Home from Home

The house is absolutely fantastic, almost a home from home. My wife and I have been about half a dozen time over the last few years, and even twice in one year. There isn't much that you wouldn't see in your house at home. I would however recommend hiring a car and collecting it at the airport. It make life so much easier, getting to the beach, going to Alicante and just going for a drive into the country. This is most definitely a place we will visit for many years to come (and the owner are really nice but keep that just between us)

we stayed at this town house for 8 nights, it was a very quiet and peaceful location yet very near shops, restaurants, bars and supermarkets. everything was accurate as was described. would certainly use this town house again, we loved it.

Absolutely perfect, for the price it is very good value for money. We stayed for 8 days and could have spent another week there. The house was very clean, everything was there including a couple shopping trolleys which was very helpful as we did not drive. The pool was virtually ours , really pleasant pool area and pool was glistening and very clean.

The beach is must do !! Although it is a only a five minute drive it would be a good 35 min walk which is silly to do in the heat. We managed to get the blue tourist train (2 minute walk away) at a cost of 3 euro each return. You can get back on train anytime anywhere as long as its same day. Its also worth seeing the area and spotting shops/restaurants etc along the way.

It did take about 40 mins so we looked at the bus timetable and could see Alicante listed from gran alacant (coomercial centre end) , we paid 1.50 euro each one way and it got us to the beach in about 5/6 mins, brilliant. Come off the beach and bus stop is right there but check times.

We were first timers to the area and liked it so much we have booked up next year for 2 weeks, unfortunately not this home as we will need 3 bed. If you want 2 bedroom property you will not be disappointed with this gorgeous home.

property is set in very quiet street with hardly any traffic. Within a 2 min walk there is the commercial centre , extremely clean and tidy, about 12 restaurants , some cafes and play area for children. Newsagent/tobacs also in area with a choice of 3 supermarkets.

There are 3 other restaurant/bar centres further away but we can tell you your near the best of them all if you stay at this property.

Did not like Santa Pola but thats just our view, you are better off going to Alicante ...........especially evening time.

Activity and Interests


Nearest beach Carabasei is a 4 min drive or a 5 min drive to Santa Pola you have a choice of 6 safe beaches. Santa Pola is a 5 min drive where you can visit the marina or take a short boat trip to the small island of Tabarac.


Alicante airport is 10km. Car hire is recommendd but not essential as there is a regular bus serice to Alicante and Santa Pola.


Santa Pola 5km. Alicante 15km.

Further Details:

For a day trip visit Benidorm 40-50 mins drive or visit Guadlest in the mountains. Local shops, supermarkets, banks and restaurants are a short 3 min walk.
