Villa in Port Andratx, - Experience the tranquility of this beautiful finca, yet only 12 minutes to the port

This unique property offers versatile accommodation for a large family or 2 families holidaying together. The house has 2 sides divided by the hallway. One has 2 spacious bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, a large living room and dining kitchen and store. On the other side are 2 further bedrooms with en-suites. All bedrooms and living room open onto the attractive courtyard with private pool. To the side is a large covered dining area with built in BBQ and sink with a dining table that seats 8 easily. There are wicker sofas and coffee tables with umbrellas for shade along with sun loungers across the terrace. The pool is 10x5m and has a shallow end with Roman steps, ideal for swimmers and non-swimmers alike. By prior arrangement the pool can be heated at a cost of approximately 300€ per week.(depending on season). The roof terrace provides a relaxing area to enjoy the spectacular views or just sit back on the comfortable sofas and enjoy a refreshing drink. The whole property is furnished to a high standard.

What makes this villa unique

You can easily walk in and out of the port, with all the cafes, restaurants and bars there. So, no need to worry about driving out for dinner. The house is on a very quiet, narrow lane, with the only traffic being residents: making is an easy and safe walk at any time of the day or night.

Notes on accommodation: This is an ideal place to spend a family holiday or for a group of people taking a holiday together. The 4 bedrooms are divided between the 2 sides of the property offering privacy. The gardens are ideal for children, the pool is located on the terrace and is in full view from the living room. There is a lawned area with plenty of room to play and a 14ft. trampoline with safety net. There is a children's playhouse and pool table. Large area, spanning 2 acres, of orchard and pretty terraces for children to explore yet all enclosed by a high fence for security and peace of mind. The whole area can be viewed from the courtyard terrace. We have furnished the property to a very high standard and although we don't expect you to love it as much as we do we respectfully ask any visitors to take great care of it. Outside: Large gardens with lawn area. It is an old almond farm and so there are a number of trees surrounding the property, which is a little over 2 acres. Pool that can be heated on request, parking for approx 4 cars. There are fig, plum and lemon trees and guests are welcome to eat produce whilst there. Utility Room: The utility room contains washing machine, tumble dryer and storage. A separate store room has a drinks fridge and storage. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: The cleaning and laundry service is carried out at the end of each week's stay. A Additional maid service can be arranged. All linen provided, sheets are good quality, high thread-count cotton or a cotton linen mix. Beach towels are provided. Other: Roof terrace with 2 sofas & coffee table, lanterns. Typically Arabic style courtyard with covered marble dining table, comfortable chairs seating 8. Built in bbq, sink. Sofa, chair, coffee table. Sunbeds/ cushions. 14 'trampoline & safety net.

Great place for a family holiday

We were three generations who spent 8 days in the villa. We had the pool heated because it was early Easter, and it was really heated. The small ones got a warm bath in the bathtub afterwards. In the mornings we could sit in the fenced garden at one side of the house even if there was a cold wind some times. And in the late afternoons we had a drink at the roof terrace with beautiful views of the hills.We made dinner ourselves every night by using the outdoor grill for fish, meat, and vegetables bought in nearby supermarkets. We took fine walks directly from the house, and by car we could easily reach lots of places worth visiting. Jane was very useful and helpful and a pleasure to communicate with.

Beautiful, peaceful villa with gorgeous views

We went to Mallorca in January to plan our wedding. We wanted somewhere that is close to the port, but not actually in the port, to avoid the noise. We did think about renting a house with a sea view, but they were all too close to the house next door, so less private. As this house said it was private and peaceful, we chose it.

We were not disappointed! It is on a little lane that is along one of the special walks of Mallorca. It is totally private and peaceful with gorgeous views of the valley, mountains and trees and is only 10 mins to the port so we could walk in, we had lots of lovely food and wine and then walked back. We didn’t have to think about who was going to drive or how much for a taxi. Every night we walked along the lane and didn’t meet a single car. The setting is beautiful. It’s like a private estate as it’s all enclosed.

The house is warm and cosy. The underfloor heating is amazing with a real fire in the lounge so we could chillax when we got back in the evening. There is full Sky, so we watched TV by the fire. Two big sofas and two armchairs meant we could all sprawl out comfortably. We had the pool heated, so swam in warm water, whilst the rain bounced down on our heads – great fun!

The kitchen is really well-equipped, with lots of pretty bowls and plates. Even though we didn’t eat in, the plates made you want to.The bedrooms are all really nicely decorated, with good quality sheets and comfy pillows. There are some lovely paintings around and some stunning mirrors! Many rented houses often miss on things like that.

All in all, a great house to stay in if you want privacy but close enough to walk into the port.

It’s tastefully furnished and really well thought out, with laundry baskets, rubbish bins, magnifying make-up mirrors etc. Little touches that make a difference. It was perfect for us, as we all felt we had our private space, but could be together too.

I would highly recommend this villa and when we go back for the wedding, we will definitely book this house again.

Fantastic Villa with pool in great location

A fantastic property! 4 ensuite bedrooms all beautifully furnished and a great open plan living / (well equipped) kitchen /dining area. The whole house is air conditioned and has WIFI ( that actually works!). Lovely outdoor areas for dining and relaxing with fantastic views from the roof terrace! It was a perfect layout for us as a family with 2 small children ( and my visiting parents). The pool is a decent size so you can actually do laps and can be heated which is quite unusual in Mallorca but definitely needed if you are visiting outwith summer months. The location is great, lovely and quiet but not far from the Port. The house is set in extensive enclosed grounds which are great for kids to explore and there is even a little playhouse. Jane the owner is lovely to deal with, nothing is too much trouble and Antonia and her team who manage the property on a day to day basis were very helpful and friendly. Really cannot fault the property, our next will be our third visit which says it all really !

So peaceful yet only a stroll to the port

The villa was perfect! Lovely setting, so much space, excellent interior and furniture, lovely bed and bedding, with everything you could want on your holiday (so nice to find a villa that had salt & pepper and other condiments etc in the store cupboard!). Very clean throughout, fantastic pool. The photos don't actually do it justice. Only a short walk along a quiet road to the shops and restaurants. We hired a small boat one afternoon from Smartboats which was great fun. Really can't say enough good things about it. We will definitely be returning. Thank you Jane.

Because you're worth it!

My husband and I travel a lot. We love visiting different countries, finding new places to explore and are always looking for somewhere special to stay. We rarely retrace our steps. How is it, therefore, that we have gone back to this villa every summer for the past eight years? The answer is simple: because - as the shampoo advert says - you're worth it! It is fabulous! We go with friends. There is plenty of room for eight people - the living accommodation inside the main villa is spacious and cool in the heat and all four bedrooms have beautiful ensuite bathrooms. It is immaculate inside and out with every conceivable comfort you could wish for. No need to get up at dawn to put your beach towel on a sun bed; there are plenty for everyone with sofas, umbrellas and shady areas too! The pool is a delight and that's saying something for someone who is not keen on the water! The Port of Andratz is an easy 15 minute walk away and is full of restaurants, bars and gorgeous shops. We are keen golfers and use the villa as a luxurious base: there are many excellent golf courses within a 30 minute drive and there are some great package deals to be had if you shop around - particularly if you play in the afternoon when it's a bit cooler. This villa has it all; small wonder, therefore, that we have already booked for next year. And yes! We do believe we're worth it!

Great Villa with Luxurious Furnishings

I, my husband and six friends stayed in this villa for a week in September. The villa was like visiting a home from home - so much more refreshing than renting a sterile and impersonal villa! It was set in a quiet position yet only a 15 minute walk into the centre of Port Andratx, which is a really pretty resort with lots of bars and restaurants and fabulous sunsets! The villa itself is luxuriously furnished with everything we needed to make our stay really enjoyable. All the equipment was top range and it was an extra bonus to find the owner had left spices and other basics that we could use for cooking. The outside is well laid out with a great dining area that easily accommodated all eight of us and which can be illuminated by candles and lamps, giving it a fabulous romantic atmosphere. There is also a lovely garden at the rear of the property that can used for some quiet time. The pool catches the sun all day and the furniture around it was wonderful to use - again there were enough loungers and space for all eight of us. By the end of the week, none of us wanted to leave! The villa is really beautiful and we would all thoroughly recommend it to anyone looking to spend some time in Mallorca.

The nearest beach is Camp De Mar with a large sandy bay and is an excellent place to swim. There are several bars and restaurants and one that is built in the bay accessed by a walkway. St Elm is a 15 minute drive away but well worth a visit. Puerto Andratx has a small beach area and the exclusive Gran Follies Beach club is just a couple of minutes drive away, this has a restaurant, 2 pools and access to the sea. There are many safe coves for snorkeling and jumping off rocks into the sea.


Palma Airport 40 minutes drive. Palma Ferry Port 30 Minutes drive. The use of a car is recommended for exploring the island. However, as Andratx port is only 15 mins walk (with many of the best restaurants on the island) supermarkets, cafes, shops etc a car is not essential. Taxis to and from the house cost €3-5.


Nice beach 10 minutes drive. Very small sandy beach 15 mins walk.

Nightlife Palma 30 minutes drive.

Shops in Puerto Andratx 15 minutes walk.

Nightlife in Puerto Andratx 15 minutes walk.

Nightlife in Puerto Portals 20 minutes drive.

Wednesday Market Andratx 5 minute drive.

Very good supermarket close by that opens late. A fantastic choice of restaurants line the harbour all with an individual flavour from traditional Mallorquian to Chinese. Cafe bars and cocktail lounges, something for everybody. This is not just a summer destination, the Port in the winter is very charming. It is still used by the local fishing fleet and you can watch them unload their catch on the harbour side. Dont forget the pool can be heated and Mallorca enjoys sunny days throughout the year so the season is not restricted. The island is especially beautiful during early spring time when the almond blossom is out, this is a great time for golfers and cyclists and for the longer car journeys to explore the rest of the Island.
