We bought our home for the tranquility, amazing views, all day sunshine and just an escape from everyday life.
We always feel refreshed after a stay in Fornalutx and La Bisbala.

I just wanted to say thank you for letting us stay in the delightful La Bisbala. It was so stunning in its location and decor and yet at the same time felt so homely. You had thought of every detail to make our holiday a special one.
We miss our morning walks to the bakery and the glorious mountain views.
La Bisbala is undoubtedly the most beautiful villa I have stayed in. The location is fantastic and the villa has been decorated to perfection. The facilities are first class making a stay there truly stress free. I hope to return.
Last few days tinged with sadness as we have had such a special and magical two weeks. La Bisbala has become home - a place that now holds very special memories. Breakfast on the terrace above the pool with the dove family as company. Dinner looking at the changing colour of the mountains. The peace only disturbed by the braying of the donkey and tinkling sheep bells.
We have fallen in love with Fornalutx. The central square, the cobbled streets, the colour of the houses, the people, the friendly bakery and mini supermarket, the cafés for an early morning coffee or a gin and tonic in the early evening.
We have been very active hiring power assisted bicycles and have been able to travel 30 kilometers a day with ease whether it be to Deia and Sa Foradada where we had the best paella ever.. Local trips to Soller and Puerto Soller with always a stop in Binaraix for a coffee or an Estrella beer. Tennis in the early mornings or late evening on the village court kept my son and I a little leaner than what we might otherwise have been.
Your recommendation to take the train to Palma was another highlight followed by our best meal of the holiday at Forn and the unique ambience of the Abaca bar - Rose petals falling from above celebrating someone's birthday.
Lindy, can we pencil in dates for next year?
Very many thanks from us all for introducing us to this heavenly area and allowing us to share in your lovely and oh so comfortable home.
We have just returned from the most wonderful week in this stunning house. The photographs on the website cannot convey just how magical this villa is. Perched above this incredible valley it has to have the best views in the village. It is a real haven yet just a few minutes walk from the centre of this historic village.
We have had the most relaxing and restorative week. There are plenty of invigorating walks through this beautiful countryside. Soller and the Port are a short drive or taxi journey away. But if you want to really chill just sit on one of the terraces and take in the view! Breathtaking!
The owner Lindy has thought of every possible thing to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. She really does go to an awful lot of effort to ensure your stay goes without a blip, providing perfect directions on reaching the villa and lots of information on what to do during your stay. She couldn't be more considerate.
Suffice to say we - like so many others are already looking to when we can return again! For us it really was a magical villa!
This is a fabulous house set in a beautiful village with fantastic views of both mountains and sweeping valleys. We stayed in La Bisbala as a group of friends and the accommodation was excellent. Everything that we could have needed for our break was available and the house was immaculate in its presentation with a true sense of luxury throughout. The house is so peaceful - we particularly enjoyed sitting out in the terrace in the mornings with breakfast - the only sound was the bells of the local sheep! The owner of the property ensured that everything was catered for and was very approachable. There is so much to do in the area - the village of Fornalutx is full of restaurants and cafes so there was always lots of choice every evening of places to eat - all within a very short walking distance. We really enjoyed exploring the town of Soller which was full of beautiful and unusual shops and we could have taken a train down to Palma if we had wanted to - but we were in relaxation mode! We also went to Port Soller one evening and had a lovely meal overlooking the sea. I cannot recommend La Bisbala highly enough - it is so relaxing and yet offers so many different choices for activities. This is a really lovely holiday home which I would very happily recommend.
My wife and I stayed in this beautiful villa for a week. It is located in a lovely, quiet, unspoilt mountain village with a real Spanish feel to it. The house itself is superbly and tastefully furnished and it is clear that no expense has been spared, or detail overlooked, in creating this stylish and upmarket holiday villa.
What really sets the villa apart is the chance to experience life in a rural, mountain setting that is far removed from what one might expect in Mallorca. The view down the valley is just stunning, totally unspoilt with a gentle background "tinkle" from the bells of the local mountain goats ! Highlights included peaceful outdoor breakfasts and lunches on the terrace, relaxing in the plunge pool and drinks at sunset prior to strolling into the adjacent village for dinner.
The actual village is traditional, picturesque and well maintained. It is a delightful experience to simply walk around and admire the flower draped stone houses and buildings. There are plenty of excellent bars, cafes and restaurants to enjoy and which cater to all budgets. So, if you want something different from a "sand and sea" holiday I would thoroughly recommend this property and village.
