This stunning 1 bedroom apartment overlooking the pool with sea views is situated in the new magnificent Dinastia complex, in the beautiful town of Los Cristianos. Furnished to a very high standard and fully equipped with all mod cons, you will find that you will have everything you need for the perfect luxury holiday in the sun. With its large private double balcony with fabulous views, it is ideal for sunbathing during the day, and dining during the evening watching the sunset. There is a pool bar and restaurant which offers excellent food and drink. Also within walking distance of a variety of bars, cafes and restaurants and a new shopping complex. Our apartment has been furnished to a very high standard and offers spacious living accommodation and everything you need for the perfect holiday.With beautiful polished marble floors and granite work surfaces, this well presented apartment boasts style with a home from home feel. perfect apartment in an excellent, quiet location

I have stayed in this apartment twice now, in June 2013 and September 2014. On both occasions I have been in a group of three ladies. There is ample space for 3/4 people. The bedroom is a good size and is nice and cool.

The bathroom is also an excellent size with a brilliant well lit mirror. The living room space is perfectly fine for what we needed, we didn't bother folding the sofa bed away every day as there is room to walk around it and there are seats at the kitchen bar. Also, we didn't really ever sit in the living room as we ate our breakfast and lunches on the balcony.

The balcony is massive and has a little outdoor light, which is really good for reading in the evenings.

The pool area is clean and peaceful, you can only get beds between 9am and about 1pm from memory so there's no rushing to put your towel down, you just go and collect you bed when you want it. When we were out in the morning we made sure we bought a bed early on so we could use it when we got back.

The café next to the pool is excellent, the wifi is good and the food and drinks are reasonably priced and the staff very friendly.

In terms of location, the apartments are up a hill but it's not a long walk into Los Cristianos centre. The best restaurants we went to were only a 2 minute walk away or the beach front is about 20 minutes. The nicest beach we sunbathed at was the Playa de las vistas beach, which is about 30 minutes walk but easily doable especially early in the morning. Alternatively there is a taxi rank across the road from the apartment (outside the Taurus restaurant) and a taxi would be inexpensive.

We went into las Americas one night which was only about 7 euros in a taxi and also down to costa adeje which was about 15 euros.

I can't recommend this apartment enough, it is lovely, modern and clean and in a great spot for exploring southern Tenerife.

Great Apartment... Brill holiday

I visited this apartment in June, and found it to be a lovely spacious apartment, with a fantastic balcony, the balcony was actually an added bonus to the holiday as it was a lovely area to relax in after days out and then before getting ready to head out for the evening. The bedroom, living room, kitchen and bathroom were all very spacious, the apartment was very clean and was a joy to have stayed in, very good value for money, that good I actually went out again just a few weeks ago. And will hopefully be visiting again next year.

Perfect apartment for a holiday in the sun!!

I visited Dinastia in May 2015... We are a young couple and we enjoyed every minute.The apartment is clean, tidy, spacious and the location is superb! The closest shop is 1 minute walk.... along with some bars and restaurants. The complex is well maintained with friendly staff. We had everything we needed in the apartment, it suited us wonderfully! My favorite bit about the apartment is the Balcony, its large with a nice seating area to enjoy a drink in the evening. we loved it that much we are returning again this July!! Thanks Rose

Basic Accomodation

This apartment is described as “a stunning 1 bedroomed apartment overlooking the pool with sea views”

In reality it is a 1 bedroomed apartment overlooking the pool with distant sea views.

Some of the apartment owners other claims are as follows.

Claimed: This apartment is suitable for 4 people.

Reality: I’ll let you decide that after reading the rest of the review.

Claimed: Furnished to a high very standard and fully equipped with all mod cons.

Reality : Furnishings were basic and the furniture and soft furnishings were stained.

Claimed: Large double balcony with fabulous views. Ideal for sunbathing in the day and complete with sun loungers, dining table and chairs.

Reality : The balcony was large but sunbathing and dining were out of the question. The sun did not reach the balcony until 4pm and then because of the design of it was limited. If you were to use the sun loungers during the period from 4pm until sunset you would end up with a striped suntan because the only sun to reach them would have to pass through the balconies slatted safety rail. Also there was no dining table on the balcony even though one was shown among the advertisement photographs. In fact there was no dining table at all in the apartment.

Claimed: The apartment offers specious living accommodation.

Reality: The living area space was 14 feet by 10 feet. This living space was taken up by the bed settee and a large coffee table and was in no way suitable for 4 people as stated in the advertisement.

Claimed: The living room has seating for 4 people.

Reality : The only seating is a quote “ 3 seater sofabed” NB if you wanted to use this as a bed you would first have to move the coffee table onto the balcony.

Claimed : The bedroom includes a huge fitted wardrobe with plenty of hangers.

Reality : The wardrobe in the bedroom was about 5 feet wide but the entire left hand side was taken up by the owner’s private belongings leaving just two and a half feet left for whoever was staying in the property. Please note apart from the two small bedside cabinets this is the only storage available in the apartment.

This apartment is the smallest one bedroomed I have stayed in. I would also question its suitability for 4 people.

NB This is a no smoking apartment. EVEN on the balcony.

The Dinastia complex itself is lovely and well maintained.

Location

Activity and Interests

Special interest holidays:

Lots of people come from all over the world to climb mount Teide. There is some beatuiful scenery and some very nice walks in the national park, but dont be fooled by the the warm climate beacause the higher you get into the national park towards mount Teide the cooler it gets, there is even snow, this is such an amazing sight. Other activerties on the island include Jeep safari, rafting bikes, Quad safari, BOB underwater scooter, paragliding and various boat trips to see whales and dolphins. Loro parque is one of the islands biggest attractions. Amoungst some of the many exotic animals and birds here The zoo has europes biggest dolphinarium with an incomparable dolphin show. A must see.

Coast/Beach:

The nearest beach is a short walk 10 mins walk via the town centre or 15 mins along the sea front. There is also Las Vistas beach which is approx 20 mins walk. Both beaches have sun beds and parasols. They are the ideal setting for the perfect evening strole.

Travel:

Dinistia apartments are around 20 mins drive from Reina Sofia airport (South Tenerife) and are easly reached by taxi or car. We are able to arrange airport transfers at your request for 18 euros each way. A car is not essential but can be hired at the airport very cheaply (£11 a day) The bus station is 5-10 mins walk from the complex and you can get a bus that will take you all over the island from here. Taxis are available and plentiful, and there is a taxi rank 2 mins from complex.

Distances:

Los Cristianos centre is about 10 mins walk from Dinistia. A 10 mins taxi ride will take you to Playa de Las Americas or you can walk along the coast which will take around 30 mins. If you like walking you can walk even further taking in that lovely scenery and stopping for that cold drink to Puerto Colon and Fanabe etc which will take around 2 hours.

Further Details:

Banks are available in Los Cristianos. Money can be changed near the complex (we always find it cheaper getting our euros out of the local ATM then getting ripped off in the UK.) There is also a very good money exchange outlet just around the corner from the complex which offers very good rate (usually around .05% below bank of england with 0% commision. There is a Chinese restaurant, a very good Mexican restaurant and a Spanish restaurants within 5 minutes walk of the complex not to mention all new the coctail lounges that has just been built in the area. There are many Places where you can book island tours, trips. The waterpark is around 10 mins taxi ride and also a trip to the jungle park zoo is a must which is approx 10 mins by taxi. Mount Teide, whale trip, Loro Park, sea lion show are all great trips to take.

This apartment is available to couples and families. No bookings are taken from single groups. A named responsible adult over the age of 21 is required for all bookings. A security bond of £200 per couple & £75 per extra person is required when booking. This is refundable when the keys are returned and management have been in to clean and check the apartment. Full payment is required 8 weeks before your stay. Verbal bookings will be held for 12 hours ONLY to enable flights to be booked and a security bond must be taken within this time or we can not guarantee your stay.

Payment Notes;
Because of the state of the GBP at the moment bookings maybe requested to be paid in Euros into our Spanish bank account. Security bonds will remain in GBP and will be refunded in GBP.

  • Notes on accommodation: The apartment is on the 4th floor. There are 2 big lifts so it is very wheelchair friendly in and around the apartment. The apartment has great views towards La Gomera and out and over the sea and is ideal for those who like to watch the sun set of an evening and take that perfect picture. To the left of the balcony you will see the mountains. These mountains strech all the way round to Palm Mar. To the right you can see over the town of Los Cristianos. The pool is great for relaxing and having a bite to eat or a nice cold glass of sangria with ice while you relax in the sun or shelter under one of the many palm trees around the pool side. Local night life ends at around 12am these are the licensing laws for this area, for the more lively people, a few euros in a taxi will take you into the near by town of Playa de las Americas where the bars stay open much later and are much more lively. Outside: Excellent pool bar serves meals and breakfast at a very good rate. It has Sky TV for all those sporting programs. 2 pools 1 large and 1 kiddies pool. Toilets, showers, changing rooms around pool area. Table football and pool table games. Large balcony ideal for sun bathing or shade. Excellent views facing southwesterly towards La Gomera. Beautiful sunsets makes for a relaxing evening. Utility Room: Iron and ironing board, mop and bucket, broom and washing machine and a safe. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels and linen are provided and changed weekly. Apartment is thoroughly cleaned before arrival. For longer lets additional cleaning can be provided if required. Other: Large double balcony is an ideal place to sunbathe during the day in complete privacy and is complete with sunloungers.There is also dining table and chairs which makes the perfect setting to watch the sunset over Los Cristianos during your evening meal.
