About this property

This delightful one bedroom apartment is located in the centre of Nice on Rue de Suisse which has recently been pedestrianized, overlooking Notre Dame. It is just off the main boulevard of Jean Medecin which is the “high street” of Nice. It is suitable for 1-2 people. The apartment is on the third floor with a lift. It is south facing and therefore gets the sunshine all day making it extremely light and airy. Its location is perfect for those who wish to explore Nice and the Cote d'Azur. The fully equipped kitchen allows you to sample the local produce while the balcony is the perfect place to relax after a day of sightseeing or lazing on the beach. All the amenities you could ask for are right on the doorstep: shops, restaurants, transport, banks and supermarkets.
Tram #2 links the airport to ave Jean Medecin which is a 10 minute walk from our apartment. It leaves every 10 minutes, takes 25 minutes, runs from early morning to late in the evening and costs 2 euros.

Well-located, stylish base in Nice

Fabulous location in the new city of Nice. Convenient for the train station, Old City and seafront. I was slightly worried that the basilica might be a bit loud (bells, etc.). But it was fine. Apartment simply decorated, but very stylish / elegant. Door in living room sticks a little bit.

Fabulous- highly recommend

Couldn’t have been a smoother process. Mario’s looked after us during our stay, getting in touch a few times to check everything was okay or to offer any help. The property was ideal for us. It’s a short walk to the beach and the promenade and the main restaurant street. I was a bit nervous when walking from the station as I was worried the property was in an unsafe area, but felt very safe the whole time and was a lovley area opposite the church. Loads to do nearby and was super easy to just pop back to the property if we were tired. There were fans and a hairdryer which was ideal and a Lidl nearby for us to buy some food as well as countless cafes and bakery’s. Elaine and Marion were super easy to communicate with and had such a great time. We made use of some beach items that were in the property which was great. The only thing the property is missing (which is super minor!) is a full length mirror.

Lovely apartment

The apartment is exactly as shown on the internet. It was well equipped for self catering, very clean. Communication with the owner was excellent through out our stay. It’s only a 10 minute walk to the beach, lots of bars and restaurants on your door step. Definitely stay here again.

Very comfortable apartment

Choice of seating arrangements, heating available for cooler evenings, easy access to 3rd floor via a lift. Easy to walk into city and the apartment is close to trams and railway stations. Nice restaurants and coffee shops close by.

We have owned this apartment for 16 years now and we use it ourselves 3-4 times a year.I work in the travel industry and my husband is in IT so we travel a lot professionally but Nice is our home away from home.

Why they chose this property

We bought in Nice as I wanted somewhere sunny with a beach but also somewhere culturally rich. Although we love coming in the summer and lazing on our favourite beach (Villefranche), we also visit in October, December, February( for Carnival) and April so we want to be able to go exploring when it is slightly cooler but still sunny and warm. I am continually amazed at how much there is to do and see in this area. Nice is also so easy to get with plenty of flights from UK airports and our apartment is a 10 minute walk from Tram #2 which goes to the airport.
We do not charge extra cleaning fees at the end of your stay so the price you see is all you pay.

What makes this property unique

We love the fact that we are in the centre of Nice. There are hundreds of restaurants to choose from, supermarkets with long opening hours and museums, beaches, shopping streets and much more are minutes away. What we really like though is that we are not over-looked. There is no-one peering in at us and we love how the church can look so different depending on the time of day and the time of year.
