Apartment in Barcelona, Spain - Exquisitely Furnished and Equipped, Convenient for all Attractions

This recently renovated apartment has picturesque French windows to both the lounge and bedroom with traditional Catalan vaulted ceiling in the living area. The bedroom is equipped with a kingsize bed and has built-in fitted wardrobes. The living area consists of an extendable dining table with leather chairs, flat screen TV and DVD player and the large comfortable leather sofa is easily converted to become a double bed. This spacious apartment provides comfortable sleeping for 4. The kitchen is fully equipped, with ceramic hob and fan oven, refrigerator, microwave, toaster, kettle. The complete bathroom includes double sized shower, basin and WC. The apartment is located on a semi-pedestrianised street in the highly fashionable district of Gracia. Close by are many bars, restaurants and cafes offering a range of cuisines and styles. Gracia is an interesting neighbourhood, with the famous Verdi cinema being just a short stroll away. Gaudi’s Parc Guell is also within walking distance.

Excellent base to enjoy our stay in Barcelona.

This apartment in the Gracia area has the top three things that we look for in a holiday : Location, location, location. The surrounding area has a very welcoming feel to it and we enjoyed the fact that within a very short distance we had a choice of great restaurants, bars, cafes. shops and squares. This feels like a real place rather than an area targetting tourists and we were made very welcome everywhere we went. The two nearby metro stations made it very easy to travel to other parts of the city.

Booking with the owner direct was very easy and Jean provided us with lots of helpful information to make our journey to the apartment easy and to help us to get the most out of our 10 day stay in Barcelona. The check in host, Aida, was very welcoming and available at all times if we needed any help.

We are looking forward to staying here again in the near future.

Really nice apartment in perfect location

This was our first visit to Barcelona and we really enjoyed staying in this apartment.

Gracia is really quaint with lots of places to eat on your doorstep.

We loved the cinema which is two minutes walk away and the Metro is an efficient and cheap method of getting about.

We would definitely recommend this apartment and hope to return one day.

Excellent Apartment

This is a lovely clean & well maintained apartment located in a real Spanish residential area with everything you need at hand. Local restaurants offer great Spanish food, especially Pepa Tomate which is very local and would highly recommend to try. Nearby Metro stations make it easy to reach all the attractions in Barcelona. Would really recommend this apartment it is a real romantic place to stay. Local agent who meets you on arrival is very nice and friendly and willing to help with any enquires. All round very good customer service.

Nearest Airport : BCN at 15 Kilometres Car: not necessary

Coast/Beach:

Joanic Metro station is nearby and will take you on L4 (yellow line) to the beach at Barceloneta.

Travel:

Barcelona Airport (El Prat de Llobregat) is about 15km away.

You an fly direct to Barcelona from many airports the UK , Ireland and the rest of Europe.

Easy travel from the airport to the airport by tax, train or bus.

Distances:

Gracia is a well known district, with the famous Verdi cinema being just a short stroll from the apartment. Gaudi's Parc Guell is approximately 500 metres; and his famous Sagrada Famillia is 1.5 km away. Plaza Catalunya is 3 metro stops or a pleasant 25 minutes walk. You can also visit the coastal town of Sitges by bus or train - which is about 40km away; or for the more adventerous a day trip to Costa Brava is a 2 hour coach ride away.

Further Details:

For those who enjoy the retail experience you will find exclusive designer boutiques offering stunning clothes, shoes and jewellery, art galleries, bookshops and florists. This is all in an eclectic mix with local bakers, patisseries, groceries and delicatessens nearby. Day trips out could include: Gerona - 1 hour. Figueras (the Dalí Museum) - 1.20 hours. Tarragona (Roman Ruins) - 1 hour. Cadaqués - (fabulous, unspolit white-washed seaside village - the kind dreams are made of) - 2 hours by car or bus. Valencia - 2.45 hours by train. Madrid - 4 hours by train. France - 1.30 hours.

If you would like to make a booking please contact the owner to confirm availability. A 25% deposit will be required at time of booking, followed by the balance in full 21 days prior to arrival.

Changeover Day:
Changeover any day. Normal check-in after 15:00. Check-out before 11:00.
(For a check-in or out between 10pm - 8am there is a surcharge of 30 euro.)

Notes on prices:
There is an additional cleaning charge of €50 per stay. Additional cleans for longer stays - please enquire. There is also €150 security deposit required, which is payable on arrival and returned at the end of your stay.

We will require a 25% deposit to confirm the booking with the remaining balance payable 21 days before arrival.
If you are making a booking for an arrival date less than a whole month away, it will simply be easier (for both you and us) for you to pay the whole amount upon confirmation.
