This luxury apartment is situated on a recently built 4-star resort on the edge of the traditional fishing village of Burgau in the Western Algarve. On-site facilities include a stunning pool (see above picture), childrens pool, bar, restaurant, and reception. Burgau is 10km west from Lagos, (approx a 10 minute drive) and 5km from Praia da Luz (approx 5 minute drive) The resort is about 45 minutes from Faro airport and is a popular holiday destination for families, and is ideal for those with young children. The beach is only a short 5 minute walk through the cobbled streets of the village, and For those who enjoy walking, this is a fantamstic area for walks along the stunning coastline. Burgau has many excellent restaurants and bars. There is also an excellent and award winning beach bar.

Notes on accommodation: Both bedrooms and the living room have remote control air-con/heaters, under floor heating in both bathrooms. There's also a safe. Outside: Balcony / Terrace, shared outdoor large swimming pool, small kids pool, pond with fish, shared gardens, barbeque, secure, private car parking, on site bar, on-site restaurant Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Weekly maid service. Bed linen and towels provided and changed weekly. Other: The balcony is about 50ft long with a built in BBQ and table with 4 chairs. Access to the balcony can be made by both bedrooms, living room and kitchen. Electric shutters on all doors onto balcony they're great if you've got hangover.

Burgau is located on the edge of the Costa Vincentina national park with many unspoilt and beautiful beaches and other historical venues including a castle.

There are shops, supermarkets, restaurants and pubs in the village of Burgau, and a daily visiting fruit and vegetable market.

The Burgau sports centre has an indoor pool, tennis court, playground and other activities for adults and children.

There is also a cash machine in the village and many others in Luz and Lagos.
