Well Equipped Apartment on Marina De La Torre Golf, Nr. Mojacar, Almeria - Prime Location Overlooking the Golf Course, and just a Short Walk to the Beach

We have a fantastic air-conditioned/heated 2 bedroom apartment on the Marina De La Torre Golf complex, suitable for 4 people situated between Mojacar Playa and the quaint fishing village of Garrucha. There are magnificent views across the golf course out to sea and towards Garrucha. Our apartment with a large terrace over looking the pool, is situated in the best possible position on the complex. This is a front line apartment rather than being tucked away at the rear without views. It is less than a 500m walk to the golf club house with the beach just a little further down the road. Situated between the traditional fishing port of Garrucha with its fine seafood restaurants and the seaside town of Mojacar Playa with a variety of bars and restaurants to suit every taste, there really is something for everyone here.

Please note that since the re alignment of the Sky satalliite many apartments are no longer able to receive uk terrestrial channels. However, we have invested in UPGRADING OUR SATALITE SYSTEM SO WE CAN NOW RECEIVE MANY UK TERESTRIAL CHANNELS.

A holiday apartment and area with lots on offer

Sunny terrace great for eating breakfast admiring views of the coast. Convenient location to walk to Garrucha. We found it Ok to walk to Mojacer village too, maybe too far if you don't like walking but then walk to the foot of the hill and jump on a bus. Great beaches all around in this area, very chilled, not like your usual bucket and spade spanish resorts. Loads of eating out choice. Very well equipped apartment, loved that we could get lots of choice of english tv and radio (maybe a bit sad I know!)

If I had one moan it would be the beds, both myself and partner suffer back/hip problems and the beds didn't help

Lovely clean apartment, stunning views

Really nice apartment, had all we needed. Ian is very responsive to emails and efficient, felt sure if there was a problem, which there wasn't, it would be sorted out.

Apartment very clean and we loved location, which was near top of a hill, with wonderful sea views.

A front line apartment with easy parking outside the door. Fantastic views over the golf course and out to sea. Situated in one direction close to the fishing village of Garrucha and to the other direction to the hustle and bustle of a faster pace of life of Mojacar Playa.

Activity and Interests

Special interest holidays:

Alhambra Palace - Approximatly 2 hour drive from Mojacar is the breathtaking Alhambra palace, a fortress complex of the Moorish monarchs of Granada, occupying a hilly terrace on the south-eastern border of the city of Granada. It was the residence of the Muslim kings of Granada and their court, it is currently a museum exhibiting exquisite Islamic architecture.

Guadix - In Guadix some 2000-plus cave homes dot the area known as the Barrio Santiago. While cave homes are common throughout the province of Granada, you won't find more in one spot than here. Some of the cave dwellings look like small cottages. Others look like walled earthen mounds with chimneys sticking out of the earthen parts.

Mini Hollywood - Now a theme park, but in the past the location for some of Americas most famous westerns. Live shows, saloon and film museum are just a few of many attractions to be found.

Other activities - Aqua Park (Parque Acuatico Vera), equestrain sports, micro-light, diving, watersports.


Apartment is situated 10 mins walk from the beach, close to four 4 star hotels whose facilities can be used by apartment guests. Numerous sandy beaches along this coastline are just a very short distance away.

Good sea fishing, snorkeling, scuba diving and windsurfing are all available.


The Marina de la Torre Golf Course is a complex of 4 star hotels and apartments situated opposite the beach between Mojacar and Garrucha about 45 mins drive from Almeria airport, 2 hours drive from Alicante airport, 1.5 hours from Murcia. Car hire available at all airports and recommended.


Traditional Spanish towns of Garrucha, Vera and Mojacar Pueblo short drive away. Water park and go cart track within 10 minutes drive. The Mini Hollywood stage set theme park, where they filmed many Spaghetti Westerns, is less than an hour's drive.

From fishing, sailing, golf and bowling, to the more energetic tennis and water sports, there is something for everyone. A selection of supermarkets and shops are available on the complex with larger supermarkets, shops and restaurants in Garrucha and Mojacar Playa a short distance away. Colourful markets in Vera, Garrucha and Mojacar. Tourist train operates along the seafront during Summer months with pickup point from a nearby hotel. Bus services and taxi services also available.

The complex is beautifully kept with great views and ideal for either a beach or golfing holiday/break. The apartment boasts air conditioning throughout for the summer and central heating for the cooler months. Included in the lounge/dining area is a good selection of books videos, DVDs, CDs and Sky TV just in case you fancy a quiet night in. Beautifully maintained complex in an elevated position with stunning views. Uncrowded location suitable for both families and couples alike. Outside: Large terrace with patio table, chairs and sunloungers. Two communal pools (one very close by) with splash pools for the very young. Utility Room: To the rear there's a utility area including a plumbed in washing machine, deep sink, drying area and hot water tank. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels and linen are included and changed weekly. Please supply your own beach/pool towels. Other: There is a large terrace to the front with quality patio furniture and sun loungers. The apartment is close to the pool and considered to be in the very best position on the complex.
