Aug 11 - Your apartment was amazing great and wonderful, so spacious and relaxing, we all had a brilliant time, I do hope we can go back one day

July 11 - Just to let you know that we've passed wonderful holidays in your appartment in Vilamoura. It was our third stay at Vilasol resort and we finally have found THE appartment. It is the best for many reasons (equipment, localization ...). and it was also very clean. Thank you very much again.

July 11 - the flat was great really enjoyed just lazing around as the pool areas are exceptional. Hope to visit again

One of the nicest apartments we have stayed in

Just returned from a fabulous relaxing break in this lovely apartment. This really is home from home and furnished to a very high standard with everything you could want for a perfect holiday. The kitchen is very well equipped so you can cook any meal should you wish to. We would also recommend the eateries on the development in particularly the food / wine at Moon which has a great atmosphere.

The property is very clean and the complex is maintained to a very high standard and secure.

The owner was a pleasure to deal with and provided lots of very useful information.

We had a very memorable time and look forward to returning again. We would definitely recommend this property on this superb development, ideally located to explore nearby areas including Quarteria, Vilamoura and Vale do lobo.

Chill Out and Relax

We have just spent two glorious weeks at Vilasol with our 9 year old son. The weather was perfect, perhaps even a little too hot at times! The apartment is absolutely a home from home, it has everything you need to cook evening meals if required - the nicest and cleanest apartment we have used and we are fairly well travelled. Easy transfer from the airport which took around 20 minutes. Vilamoura around 10 minutes in a car and Quarteira around 10 minutes. Lots of restaurants in each location although Vilamoura was exceptionally busy in August so if you plan to eat out and don't want to wait, head out around 7pm to beat the crowds!

Pools and surrounding areas at the complex are very well maintained and the snack bar does fabulous sandwiches on bread baked fresh on a daily basis at the onsite deli. Nearest supermarket approx 1mile up the road but has everything you will need.

The owner is a delight to deal with - could not have been more helpful.

All in all an amazing time was had by all, loved every minute of it and we will definitely be heading back there.

Would probably recommend car hire though if you want to see more of the local area - the roads are exceptionally busy and I wouldn't recommend walking far as there isn't a pavement. We didn't have one on this visit and regretted it. Taxis are readily available but again, in August, be prepared to wait even if you have booked.

The Vilamoura Marina and Falesia Beach are only a 5 minute drive away. Quarteira beach is also a few minutes drive away.


Vila Sol is approx 15/20 minutes from Faro Airport. A taxi can be hired outside the airport and should cost around 25/30 euros. A multitude of car hire companies are available in the airport. Car hire is recommended.

Taxi transfers can be arranged to and from the airport - please ask at time of booking.


Vila Sol Resort is a 3 minutes drive from the main Aqua park and 25 minutes drive from the Zoomarine.

Almancil is a 5 minutes drive away with a number of speciality restaurants.

The old town of Loule is approx 10 minutes away.

The more modern Vilamoura Marina with its designer shops is 5 minutes (cost of a taxi is about 7/9 euros)

The Guia shopping complex with a large mix of shops to suit all tastes is 20 minutes away.

Further Details:

Vilasol has a shopping centre within the complex which has restaurants, wine bar, Delifrance café, Beauty saloon and a small convenience store. Two large hypermarkets are only a 2 min drive from the apartment. There are also a number of local restaurants outside of the complex and within walking distance of the apartment. More shops, bars, restauants and banks are located in Quarteira and Vilamoura, both a 5 minute drive from the apartment.
