Stayed here in 2014, which was really good, stayed here again at the end of April/beginning of May (2022)for two weeks and was a very different experience.
On arrival we found that the internet wasn’t working, had to go to Walmart to use their WiFi in order to send email to the owner to inform and get sorted, this actually took a week to sort out, 3 unanswered emails and it was left to me to contact the WiFi provider and arrange for an engineer to come out and fix, resulting in us wasting a whole day waiting for an engineer to arrive.....should have been sorted by the management company, not the renter!!!
We also then had a problem with the pool, had paid for pool heating, half way through our holiday the hot tub emptied its self and the heating went off, this sorted itself a few days later, but then done the same thing. When I informed the owner, they weren’t interested in sorting it out, just offered a refund for the pool heating.... sorry not good enough....could have been fixed by a pool technician in little time. Furthermore, refund was supposed to take up to 15 days, after 18 days I had to chase it up in order to get it.
General condition of the villa was very poor, at least 5 lights not working, cobwebs on windows, stains on sofas and most chairs, toilets didn’t flush properly, sink plugs not working(actually had to re-attach one myself)...... the list could go on.....
Outside area was appalling, big holes in the netting over the pool, side door lock not locking, all the outdoor furniture was really dirty and stained, loads of weeds.
Garage area was really just a dumping ground for old broken stuff
The pictures on the website must have been taken over 20 years ago.....which was probably when it was last cleaned!
There are some positives, the location is fantastic and offers good access to the theme parks, supermarkets and restaurants. The view over the lake is really good, got to see lots of wild life and even got to see an a alligator.
There is so much protential, needs a complete refresh.
