House in Old Town Dubrovnik, Dalmatian Coast - Beautifully Restored 400-year Old House With Stunning Views Over The Adriatic Sea From The Terrace

This stylish and luxurious 400-year old house is located inside the walls of the Old Town in Dubrovnik and has a terrace with a stunning view over the Adriatic sea, the island of Lokrum, the city walls and the Srd mountain. It has been restored and finished to high specifications including air-conditioning, beautiful Brac stone radiators (winter) and Wi-Fi. It retains many of the original features such as exposed stone walls and wooden beams. The house is located about 5-10 minutes walking distance from two of the entrances to the Old Town, Pile Gate or Ploce Gate, passing the famous street, Stradun, which is about a 2-5 minute stroll from the house. It is also only a few steps from a small gate in the old city wall leading out though to Buza II (famous bar on the cliffs). There you can swim off the rocks in the crystal clear water or enjoy a drink with breath taking views over the Adriatic and amazing sunsets. The nearest beach is located a 8 minutes' walk through Old Town.

Stunning Longlook House and stunning views!

We had a wonderful stay in Dubrovnik and thoroughly enjoyed the house. Great location and stunning views from the Terrace of the sea, the wall and Lokrum island - very rare in the old town.

The house is very well furnished and lovely bathrooms and very comfortable for three or four people. Would recommend arranging airport transfer through Azra as we would never have found the house alone.

Would be great to have just a few supplies in as we arrived very late - (coffee, milk and maybe a loaf of bread and butter), otherwise the house is really well equipped - nice extras for use DVDs, umbrellas, guidebooks, reading books, adapter plug.

Three countries tour with Senad was really interesting and a great things to do and a day on Lokrum is a must. Taj Mahal was our favourite restaurant and the day pass was a great way to see the museums. We started this at 2.00pm one day and ran through to 2.00pm the next day - which meant we weren't quite so rushed on one day and could have a leisurely walk on the wall in the evening.

We have already recommend to friends and family and would certainly return.

Fantastic fully renovated flat inside the walls of Dubrovnik

We enjoyed the 3 days in the extremely well-renovated flat with ocean view from the roof-top terrace.

Morning swim and evening sun-downer from Buzan Bar 50 m away :-).

Fantastic service for the property manager Azra.

Longlook meets expectations!

My wife and I, along with our two young daughters (7&8), thoroughly enjoyed our time at Longlook. We spent 7 restful & relaxing nights here . The separate bedrooms & bathrooms on different floors were great. Although we never really utilized the kitchen, it was clean & tidy. A highlight was enjoying a few dinners and many evenings on the top floor patio.

The beds were comfy and the entire house was very clean. The property management team was exceptional thru the booking process and very responsive to answering various questions, both about the house and Dubrovnik. Thanks!

Amazing

Great central location close to the main streets occupying the many bars and restaurants. The actual property is finished with the fine details. With the extra view across the wall over looking the sea from the balcony was a bonus. Highly recommend. However beware of the many steps in and around the City.

Superb home in great location

I was greeted at the airport by Azra (property manager). She is lovely and chatty, and whisked me to Longlook House within minutes of my arrival. There are a few stairs to climb to reach the property, but this is hard to avoid in a city like Dubrovnik. I actually enjoyed exploring the various 2 minute routes (even the stairs) one can take to/from the property from/to the main road. The house is in wonderful shape. Very up-to-date bathrooms, kitchen, and lighting throughout. Wi-fi worked great. Every part of the house was spacious. My colleague and I enjoyed several hours on the balcony throughout the week.

Would definitely recommend this property.

Lovely

This is a lovely apartment with a homely feel. The kitchen is well set up. We enjoyed many a morning and afternoon sitting on the terrace and enjoying the view. It is in an ideal location and my husband and daughter loved the quick walk to the rocks to jump into the sea to cool off. We would love to go back to this apartment.

Coast/Beach:

Longlook house is located only a few steps from a small gate in the old city wall leading out though to Buza II, where you can swim off the rocks, for that swim before breakfast or the cool dip after you come back after a day of excursions. The nearest beach (sand/pebble) is a 8-10 minute walk from the house. The facilities on the beach include a stylish beach bar/restaurant and beachside showers/WC. There are also other beaches within a short distance by foot, local boat or bus.

Travel:

Dubrovnik International Airport is a scenic 20-25 minutes drive away. There are taxi and bus services from/to the airport. The taxi is about 250 Kuna (30 Euros/£25) and the bus about 40 Kuna (5 Euros/£4).

Stradun (Centre of Dubrovnik Old Town) - 2 minutes walk.

Swimming (off rocks) - 1 minute walk.

Beach - 8-10 minutes walk.

Fruit, vegetable and flower market - 2 minute walk.

Within a short walk from the house, in addition to swimming, you can find the daily market for fresh fruit/veg and flowers, supermarket, banks (and cash points), bakeries, ice cream parlours, cafes, bars, restaurants and shops, as can many cultural monuments, museums (including Maritime and Pharmacy museums, Rectors Palace, Sponsa Palace, Aquarium), galleries, churches, the entrances to the Old Town wall and the cable car to the top of Srd Mountain. Many boat trips can be booked and depart from the beautiful harbour in the Old Town (such as to Lokrum, Cavtat, other islands, sightseeing, glass bottom boats and fishing as well as the popular kayaking excursions).
