About the property

Fully equipped property on a secure complex. The house is situated on the highly popular El Divino complex and professionally cleaned and maintained for renters. It offers excellent accommodation for a family/golfing holiday. The house is situated 5/10 minutes from Murcia airport and there is no need for car hire as all amenities are well within walking distance. The house is fully equipped with air conditioning and mosquito nets are fitted on windows/doors. The house is on 3 levels and the solarium has loungers, a sun canopy, fridge and a barbecue for use. There is also a washing machine and clothes lines available on ground and solarium level. All bedrooms have fitted wardrobes and ceiling fans. There are three bicycles available without charge for those feeling energetic.An awning on the front terrace affords protection from the sun when necessary. Please note that the rental rates I quote are for families of up to four in number. I reserve the right to charge a modest levy for additional numbers

Hi - I'm Ken Stewart. I bought this property with a view to future holidays and also letting when appropriate. Over the years I have made numerous improvements to the property and equipment to the extent that many renters tell me that the facilities lack nothing. As an example over the last year I have installed an induction cooker hob and fan assisted oven so it does not now take 31/2 hours to cook a chicken! On the entertainment side a 42" flat screen TV is in the lounge with a manual scart switcher which enables easy movement between TV, VCR and DVD players. An awning has now been fitted to the veranda at the front to provide shade. 3 bicycles are now available without charges. Finally the property has just been redecorated and re-tiled externally.

Why ken stewart chose Los Alcázares

The town of Los Alcazares remains completely unspoiled and ideal for a good family holiday with no rowdyism/gangs or the like to cause problems. Supermarkets/shops/restaurants are all close by so there is no need to hire a car. San Javier (Murcia) airport is only five mins. away by taxi! As for the beach well the Mar Menor is famous for its golden beaches and beautiful clear water and is only a short walk away. Its also a golfers paradise with many courses nearby.

What makes this house unique

The property is situated in the El Divino complex and enjoys two substantial swimming-pools within well-maintained landscaped gardens. The local area is quite flat and cycling is very popular. There are three bikes available at the property for use by renters without charge.

Notes on accommodation: Mosquito nets have been fitted. Air-conditioning units in all bedrooms and in lounge. All bedrooms/lounge have fans Outside: There is front garden with patio and a front terrace suitable for dining with table and chairs supplied. There is a balcony outside the main bedroom and roof terrace/solarium with fridge and barbecue and loungers. A large shared pool is within a few yards with a safe area for young children. Sun awnings have been fitted over the front patio and on the solarium to give some shade when necessary. Utility Room: At the rear of the house (attached) there is a utility room which houses a full size washing machine and all cleaning utensils. Adjacent to this is a further shed which houses the bikes. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: The house is professionally cleaned after each let and all bedlinen, towels and beach towels are supplied. The cleaning costs are additional to the rental costs

Excellent villa & location

The property is in an ideal location in walking distance of the shops, restaurants and beach. The villa is very spacious, well kitted out and spotless. It's in a gated complex so very safe and quiet. The gardens are beautiful with a very clean and well kept pool. The beaches and views of the Mar Menor are splendid and it's very relaxing to walk or cycle along the never ending promenade. There's an amazing choice of outstanding restaurants. We've been coming back year after year to this villa and always have a wonderful holiday.

Great family holiday in Los Alcazares

I had spoken to Ken on several occasions prior to our holiday. We had seen the images and know Los Alcazares well so we knew what to expect. We were not disappointed the location is fantastic with 525 Plaza a few minutes walk away. A great choice of bars restaurants shops and supermarkets on your doorstep. The accommodation is first class with absolutely everything you need. Lovely newly tiled sun decks, great pool areas and a gated community which is great if you have children with you as it is very secure. Car hire is definitely not an essential. You can walk everywhere in Los Alcazares and there is a local bus to Cartagena which takes 1/2 hour. We hired a car as we know the area and wanted to show our daughter and son in law around. Espacio Mediterranean is nearby Cartagena is a lovely city as is Murcia and La Zenia is worth a trip but you do need a car to visit these places. Great family holiday wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this accommodation to you and looking forward to returning soon.

Well located, spacious townhouse

Situated on the El Divino complex this spacious townhouse is only a short stroll from all the shops, bars and restaurants on the 525 plaza, which in turn is only a short stroll to the lovely Los Alcazares promenade by the Mar Menor sea.

The property has everything as described and my only issue, apart from the gears on one of the three bikes weren't working, was having to carry around the large bunch of keys needed, one to get into the complex and three to get into the property plus extra keys for the three storage areas. It was certainly secure, which is a good thing to be fair.

We enjoyed our stay and would recommend the property. A friendly, obliging owner in the UK and the same to welcome you at the property in Los Alcazares.

As far as the bicycles are concerned as you know these are supplied without charge and I must rely on those using them to deal with any problems/faults arising - enough said!!. There is not a lot I can do about the bunch of keys required but at least there is security. We have stayed on this complex on numerous occasions. Ken's house was well equipped, clean and in a good location. The newly retiled front patio area looks great. Ken was a pleasure to deal with and nothing was too much trouble. The beach, restaurants and bars are all within a short walk. A good house to stay in for a great holiday.

Great home from home

This is the 9th visit to the resort and it really is home from home with everything that you need for the perfect relaxing stay. The newly relayed patio area looks great adding to the lovely property. Looking forward to returning next year!!

Had great time with the family. Beautiful villa in & out grounds very well kept spotless great pool for old & young. Supermarket's bars restaurants we tried most of them great no complaints very nice all just a 5minute walk from Vila. Walking to beach roughly about a 15 minute walk good tho pub crawl there & the same back 😂😂😂. Also not forgetting ken great guy to deal with many thanks.Dez & family 👍

5/10 mins walk to superb beaches where you can enjoy a bathe in clean, warm shallow saltwater. Very safe for children. Alternatively you may have a walk along the promenade or sit at a beach bar and enjoy a drink/meal/tapas. Boat trips are available most days and jet-skis / pedaloes may be hired.


San Javier (Murcia) Airport is 5/10 mins by taxi. Car hire is readily available but not essential as all necessary ameneties are close to hand.Also the area is very flat and three bikes will be available from 2014 free of charge


Cartagena is 20 mins. by car. The city of Murcia is one hour by car. La Manga is 25 mins. by car.

Further Details:

Local banks, supermarkets, restaurants and cafes and shops are within 5 mins walk. If you wish to get around by cycling you may have the use of three bikes subject to a modest charge. From 2014 these will be provided free of charge .You will of course be responsible for ensuring their safe-keeping and locks/keys will be supplied.
