Notes on accommodation: The apartment has its own underground parking space. Outside: The complex is set overlooking the sea and national park. There is a restaurant and large shared swimming pool with sun beds and sunshades around the pool area which is surrounded by gardens. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: The apartment is cleaned once a week. Bedlinen and towels are provided (except beach towels). Additional cleaning and laundry sevice available on request. Other: The roof terrace has a large storage room that can be used as a third bedroom which leads to the very large private roof terrace with wonderful sea views that is equipped with sun loungers 2 relaxing chairs and large table with six chairs.

Special interest holidays:

If you or your children enjoy sport, Burgau has its own sports centre with organised tennis, circuit training, squash, children's sports morning, including basketball, football, touch rugby, baseball, hockey, rounders, swimming races, diving competition. Coaching can be provided for beginners and all sports are organised by a Physical Education Teacher.

The area is well known for its rugged coast line and there are lots of places to walk, including along the cliff tops between Burgau and Praia de Luz.


Burgau Village is a few minutes walk away with a small supermarket, and a number of good restaurants including the casa paderia pizzaria which is highly recommended. The beach in Burgau is 2 mins walk down hill from the Village. To the west the fishing village of Sagres is less than 20 minutes by car. The west coast is well known for windsurfing and diving enthusiasts.


Faro airport is just under 1 hours drive from Burgau via the A22 motorway which makes this an easy drive. Car hire is recommended but there is a regular bus service to Luz and Lagos as well as local taxis.


Lagos Zoo is 15 minutes away by car, and Zoo Marine is approx 35 minutes by car, with the Monchique Mountains being 15 minutes by car.

A 25% deposit is required at the time of booking and the balance due 6 weeks before the date of travel. Please be advised No Smoking or pets are allowed in the apartment. A refundable security deposit of £100 is required to cover damage, breakages, extra cleaning or loss of keys.
This will be returned once the apartment has been inspected and cleaned.
