About the property

Sleeps 6 in 3 bedrooms, in walking distance to bars, supermarkets, good restaurants & new shopping centre. Perfect for non-drivers

This apartment is our home away from home. We have loved coming to stay to escape the English weather for 15 years and the area keeps getting better and better.

We love the apartment because it's on the ground floor of a brilliant, small complex. It's on a quiet road that leads directly down to the blue flag La Zenia beach which you can walk to in 8 minutes. It's also close to an array of restaurants offering all types of food, great bars, big supermarkets and La Zenia Boulevard shopping centre.

The Outside Space

Because it's a ground floor apartment, we have two private terraces that wrap around the property so you can chase the sunshine. There is a sheltered area which has a large dining table and covered smoking area, a BBQ terrace, and a large area which has sun loungers. There is a wall and secure gate around the property so it is secure for children.

The Pool

To the rear of the complex is a resident's only, communal pool which is clean and quiet. It is best enjoyed for an afternoon swim in the sunshine, is not visible from the apartment but is easily accessed via the main apartment entrance. Some of our families like to spend the whole day at Orihuela Costa hotel which is less than 5 minutes walk away.

The Living Space

With a comfy leather sofa, you can relax and watch English TV and DVDs. We also have very fast and reliable WIFI which is free of charge to all guests. There is a table and chairs for eating meals inside when needed.

The Kitchen

The kitchen is really well equipped. We love to cook and have made sure there is a really good array of pots, pans, plates and everything you could need to make a holiday meal.

The Main Bedroom

The main bedroom has a comfy double bed with new duvets and a luxury mattress topper. There are built-in wardrobes so there is a lot of storage, a dressing table, hairdryers and there is an ensuite with a large shower.

The Second Bedroom

The second bedroom can have two single beds or a double bed. It has new mattresses and duvets so it's really comfortable.

The Third Bedroom

This bedroom contains two single beds with new mattresses and duvets. Inside the built-in wardrobe is a safe to keep valuables in.

The Bathroom

The shared bathroom has a bath with a shower.

Other things you might want to know

We have described the area near the apartment, but further afield there is a lot to see and do, whether you are a couple or a family. You are within driving distance to some excellent towns and sights, such as Torreveja, Alicante and Murcia. You are also close to some excellent golf clubs.

If you are travelling with children in tow, we have a cot, a highchair and some kid-friendly games.

Notes on accommodation: Apartment is fully air conditioned (hot and cold). It is ideal for children and the elderly as there are only 3 steps into the apartment. This is a non-smoking apartment. However, there is a covered terrace with table and chairs where you can smoke. No pets accepted. Outside: A very versatile and large outside space; a veranda and 2 sun terraces, patio, table and chairs, sun loungers, umbrella, barbecue, communal pool for adults with children's section. Parking on drive or road. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Cleaning is done before arrival, towels and linen provided. Please bring own beach towels although there will maybe be some left from previous guests which you are welcome to use. Other: There is a large basement with ironing board and iron. All bedrooms and main rooms having air con and ceiling fans. Heating available for the colder months.

Det var et udmærket hus,og beliggenheden er meget central.Det var ikke så stor køkken i huset,men de ville hjælpe hvis. Der ikke var så mange ting af ejerens. De kunne med lethed være opbevaret i den store kælderen

Jeg mener også opsynet med huset kunne have sørget for at elpærerne var udskiftede før ankomst af nye gæster.

Everything is within walking distance and a car is not necessary. It is fully equipped for families and couples alike for a maximum of six people.

What makes this apartment unique

El Verano is one of the rare 3 bedroom properties for rent within walking distance to La Zenia beach as well as shops, bars and restaurants.

Our management company will happily arrange for items of shopping to be at the apartment on your arrival and will also provide an airport transfer at additional cost.

This apartment is so conveniently located that everything is within walking distance and no car is necessary.

Coast/Beach:

La Zenia white sandy blue flag beach 8 minutes walk. 2 other beaches can be reached by walking the coast path. Torrevieja 10 minutes north by road has many beaches to choose from. Mar Menor is 20 minutes south by road, where its warm shallow water attracts young and old. Also 15 minutes walk to renowned mall or shops and restaurants called La Zenia Boulevard www.zeniaboulevard.es. There is an excellent supermarket within walking distance and a large Lidl hypermarket about five minutes drive away. These stock just about everything.

Travel:

Murcia (San Javier) airport is 20 mins by car and Alicante airport is 40 mins by car. Car hire available from both airports at very reasonable prices. Easy road and motorway connections. Taxi service is available at extra cost. There are also local buses, which we are told by our visitors are fairly reliable.

Further Details:

There are numerous high quality bars and restaurants to the rear of the apartment, no more than 10 minutes walk away and many more located 15 minutes walk away to the more lively Cabo Roig.

On La Zenia beach you will find a very nice beach bar and also La Mirada restaurant and bar, Here you can eat, drink and watch the sun set.

Immediately behind the apartment is Orihuela Costa hotel for squash, tennis, large pool, pool bar, restaurant, beauty salon and entertainment.

Entertainment also available at La Zenia Hotel by the beach. 15 minutes walk on the road to Torrevieja takes you to a go-karting track for adults, with smaller karts for children.

Torrevieja - 10 mins by road, has a long promenade that passes a number of beaches and is lined with all types of restaurant.

Excellent shopping also available at San Javier (Mar Menor).

There is a folder at the apartment containing numerous places to visit and eat.
