The apartment is situated on a very quiet residential road, perfect for those who require a quiet position but also ideal for families who need lively bars and restaurants within walking distance. It takes only a few minutes to walk to La Zenia's blue flag sandy beach.The main road from Alicante to Cartegena (N332) runs through La Zenia and the apartment is on the beachside of the road. It is ideally positioned for all amenities. A car is not essential as everything is well within walking distance, including 24 hour supermarkets.

Everything is within walking distance and a car is not necessary. It is fully equipped for families and couples alike for a maximum of six people.

Activity and Interests

Car: not necessary

This apartment is so conveniently located that everything is within walking distance and no car is necessary.

Coast/Beach:

La Zenia white sandy blue flag beach 8 minutes walk. 2 other beaches can be reached by walking the coast path. Torrevieja 10 minutes north by road has many beaches to choose from. Mar Menor is 20 minutes south by road, where its warm shallow water attracts young and old. Also 15 minutes walk to renowned mall or shops and restaurants called La Zenia Boulevard www.zeniaboulevard.es. There is an excellent supermarket within walking distance and a large Lidl hypermarket about five minutes drive away. These stock just about everything.

Travel:

Murcia (San Javier) airport is 20 mins by car and Alicante airport is 40 mins by car. Car hire available from both airports at very reasonable prices. Easy road and motorway connections. Taxi service is available at extra cost. There are also local buses, which we are told by our visitors are fairly reliable.

Further Details:

There are numerous high quality bars and restaurants to the rear of the apartment, no more than 10 minutes walk away and many more located 15 minutes walk away to the more lively Cabo Roig.

On La Zenia beach you will find a very nice beach bar and also La Mirada restaurant and bar, Here you can eat, drink and watch the sun set.

Immediately behind the apartment is Orihuela Costa hotel for squash, tennis, large pool, pool bar, restaurant, beauty salon and entertainment.

Entertainment also available at La Zenia Hotel by the beach. 15 minutes walk on the road to Torrevieja takes you to a go-karting track for adults, with smaller karts for children.

Torrevieja - 10 mins by road, has a long promenade that passes a number of beaches and is lined with all types of restaurant.

Excellent shopping also available at San Javier (Mar Menor).

There is a folder at the apartment containing numerous places to visit and eat.

  • Notes on accommodation: Apartment is fully air conditioned (hot and cold). It is ideal for children and the elderly as there are only 3 steps into the apartment. This is a non-smoking apartment. However, there is a covered terrace with table and chairs where you can smoke. No pets accepted. Outside: A very versatile and large outside space; a veranda and 2 sun terraces, patio, table and chairs, sun loungers, umbrella, barbecue, communal pool for adults with children's section. Parking on drive or road. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Cleaning is done before arrival, towels and linen provided. Please bring own beach towels although there will maybe be some left from previous guests which you are welcome to use. Other: There is a large basement with ironing board and iron. All bedrooms and main rooms having air con and ceiling fans. Heating available for the colder months.
