Cottage in Tawstock, Nr. Barnstaple, North Devon - Picturesque Village with Lovely Views and Woodland Walks, Only a Short Drive to the Coast

Triangle Cottage is a detached comfortable and well equipped cottage in the centre of picturesque Tawstock village. The village (a conservation area) has a thirteenth century church with some of the finest monuments in Devon. There are beautiful countryside views from the cottage, raised deck area and garden, and attractive woodland and countryside walks from the village. The cottage is centrally heated and double glazed. Barnstaple with its lively Pannier markets is 1½ miles away. Easy access to North Devon coast and Exmoor, picturesque Appledore and Bideford, beaches at Croyde, Saunton Sands, Westward Ho!, and Instow. RHS Rosemoor and Marwood Gardens, 20 mins drive. Tawstock is well located for walking and cycling holidays. Nearest access point to Tarka Trail and coast path approx. 1.2 miles away. Our cottage sleeps 6-8 in 3 comfortable bedrooms but is also cosy for smaller groups. We offer a couple's discount - please check our rates. Weekend breaks minimum 3 nights 70% weekly rate. Sorry - no smokers or pets.

A beautiful cottage in a fantastic location!

We stayed in this lovely cottage for 1 week. It had everything we needed to make it an enjoyable relaxing holiday. The location of the cottage make it so peaceful. The garden is a beautiful place to sit out especially in the summer evenings. We will be returning!

Clean & comfy

It was so refreshing to arrive at a spotless cottage with everything you would have in your own home. We were dealt with professionally by the owner who was very helpfull. We were also made welcome and looked after once we arrived at the cottage arranged by the owner, they looked after putting the bins out etc. and we were given their number if we needed anything during our stay.

The garden is lovely to sit in and watch the sun go down even though the weather was cold.The cottage is comfy and cosey.Nothing was a problem and we will definately return.

Barnstaple with its lively Pannier markets is 1½ miles away. Easy access to North Devon coast and Exmoor e.g. Lynton, Lynmouth, Ilfracombe 35 mins (by car), Beaches at Croyde, Saunton Sands, Westward Ho! and Instow 20/25 mins. Appledore and Bideford 20 minutes.

Tawstock is well located for access to the Tarka Trail at Barnstaple, Fremington Quay and Instow.

The cottage is 45 minutes drive from junction 27 of the M5.

Refundable Damage Deposit £100

Booking Notes:
A non-refundable deposit of 25% of the total rental cost is required at the time of booking and the balance 8 weeks prior to holiday. If the letting date is within 8 weeks of booking then the full payment should accompany the booking request. A refundable breakages and damages deposit of £100 is required with the balancing payment.

Please telephone the owner to make arrangements for payment.

Guests should ensure they have made adequate provision for comprehensive holiday insurance cover.

Changeover Day:
The cottage is available from 4pm on the first day and must be vacated by 10am on the day of departure. Changeover day is Friday but can be flexible subject to cleaning arrangements.

Notes on prices:
Prices are for the property per week in UK Pounds. Weekly rentals commencing on days other than Friday are negotiable - please contact the owner to discuss and for an accurate rates quotation.
Short breaks negotiable (3 nights minimum at 70% of the weekly price) - please call to discuss.
Couple's (2 people) discount of 10% available on our weekly rates of £325-£550.
