Detached 3 bedroom villa. Furnished to a very high standard. Situated in a peaceful location just 5 minutes from the small town of Moncarapacho and 20 minutes from Faro airport. Excellent beaches are nearby and there are several golf courses within the locality.

We're just back home from 2 great weeks - we have rented quite a few places through owners direct and have to say that Dos Amigos is probably the best house that we have stayed in. The house, pool and gardens work really well and are also well cared for and very clean. We hope to return!

Notes on accommodation: Upon arrival you will be welcomed by our management team, who will show you all you need to know about the villa. There is also an information folder giving you details on the surrounding area, restaurants etc. Outside: Outside the villa is surrounded by pleasant gardens in which to enjoy the peace and tranquillity. There are a variety of plants such as our 800 year old Olive tree, Sharon fruits, Fig Trees and numerous other interesting plants and shrubs. A BBQ is provided for that all important all year round alfresco dining. Set around the villa are a selection of seating areas to enable you to make the most of the late evening sun or find the welcome shade when needed. Sun loungers surround our newly constructed pool. Utility Room: The separate utility room includes a washing machine and tumble dryer. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Bed and bath linen provided, also beach towels. End of stay cleaning included. If you require additional cleaning services's these can be arranged locally through our management team.

Only a short drive away from the villa you will find some beautiful and quiet offshore beaches (sandbanks), which can be reached by ferry, a 5 minute voyage.


Faro airport 18km 20 mins. Moncarapacho 5 mins. Tavira 20 mins. Olhao 20 mins. Beaches 15 mins.


The beautiful Ria Formosa Natural Park of 18000 hectares is primarily a lagoon system, which is protected by sandbanks. A huge variety of wetland birds can be seen in Park, as well as ducks, shorebirds, gulls, terns and the rare purple gallinule. Storks, herons and many other species can be observed in the Park. The area around Tavira delivers about 90% of the entire oyster and mussel production of Portugal.

Moncarapacho is a small country town in the middle of an area which is home to orange growing and horticulture. it exudes a calm, unhurried atmosphere of people going about their business in a relaxed and friendly way. The town offers all the basic facilities of banks, post office, internet cafe, supermarkets and other shops, petrol station, market, restaurants and plenty of pavement cafes. It even has its own tiny museum. it has a market on the first Saturday of each month.
