If it’s a beach holiday with nearby pubs and nightlife you want, then this is not for you! We can't even offer a pool.

All we can offer is comfortable accommodation at a reasonable price in a quiet but lively village. Its not total isolation though.

There are two tavernas and three coffee shops plus a small village shop in case you have forgotten anything. better shop can be found in Eptagonia.

About the Owner

We moved to Cyprus for good in December 2007 after many holidays here and other parts of the Med and Cyclades.

Caryn lived in Cyprus before and always wanted to return so my recent move with work gave us the opportunity.

Since moving in we have made many friend both expats and locals. The locals in particular are the friendliest people you will meet so don’t think of your self as a stranger! You can get the best of both worlds here as the City is only 25 minutes away as are the beaches. In the other direction are the beautiful Troodos mountains with their many walks and cycle paths. You can also explore the heritage sites of which there are many. We Love the way of life and the return to old fashioned values and a slower pace of life.

Special interest holidays:

There is an abundance of archaeological sites and places of interest most of which are within approx 40Km drive.

There is a large Festival in September each year centred around the two Churches one of which is famous for the 'Weeping Icons'.


If you fancy a day at the beach, it is only 30Km drive to the Municipal beach of Dassoudi, which stretches for several km along the front of Limassol. There the water is safe and fairly shallow. Further afield there is a beautiful beach at Kurion which takes in a lovely drive. This beach has three beach side tavernas and shower/toilet facilities. There is also a water park nearby in Fasouri, should the beaches not take your fancy.


Car hire is essential, given the location of this property. Approx 90 Km drive from Larnaca Airport, and 115km from Paphos Airport.

Transfer to and from the Airport may be arranged for a small charge if car hire is not possible. If you require this service, please contact us before booking.


Nearest town Limassol is approx 30Km drive. Troodos Mountains for walking or skiing is approx 35Km.

Further Details:

You will find the villagers and the few ex-pats that live here are very friendly and you will be made most welcome. There is a village shop, post office, butchers, bank, 2 coffee shops, and 3 tavernas (2 are seasonal) serving beers, wines, spirits. As well as a wide variety of food for most tastes and of course traditional Cypriot food.

The property is just five minutes walk from the village square where the local taverna’s offer a wide range of local food and beverages at surprisingly reasonable prices We provide linen and most of what you will need for your stay even a welcome pack of provisions to get you started. We offer all you need for comfortable relaxed holiday accommodation without the resort prices. So put your feet up and make the most of the holiday you’ve worked all year to earn. Some of our guests have been known to paint or even write a book.

  • Outside: Typical of this type of village property, there is a large roof terrace partly covered by a large clay tiled pergola the roof terrace offers mountain views, this includes a barbecue and food prep area, suitable for alfresco living. At the entrance to the property is a small patio overlooking the Olive, Orange, and Lemon trees, that the area is famous for. Utility Room: Fitted wardrobe, washing machine, iron and ironing board. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Towels and linen included. A weekly linen change and cleaning service can be provided at a small extra cost (please enquire when booking) We prefer to leave customers undisturbed to enjoy their break.
