Attractive restored, rural villa, set in 2.5 acres of olive groves and gardens of owner’s country house.

Stunning large raised pool for sole use by guests. The 8m x 5m pool has spacious raised sun terraces with stunning views over the national park and distant mountains. The pool area is not overlooked, walled for privacy but without obscuring the stunning views. There are covered outdoor dining areas and an outdoor summer kitchen area with sink, hob, barbecue and paella ring. The private garden/play area has swings and games court. Good road links to the surrounding area/beaches, including numerous local villages and historic Xativa with hilltop castle, Cheste race track and rail links to Valencia city. The village of Chella has all amenities including supermarket, bakers, butchers, chemist, banks, bars and restaurants, with additional facilities in the neighbouring villages. A number of beaches can be reached in under 1 hour, or why not try the Anna Lake natural pools with waterfall.

Dear John and Jane, thank you for everything. I have liked everything here from the dogs to the swimming pool. I have found this holiday relaxing and very enjoyable, in fact I think this is the most fun holiday I have ever had.
From Alexander Blackburn Age 10.
You deserve to do well here, the package you offer is the best we have experienced in many years of renting villas in Spain. The cleanliness and condition of your property combined with your knowledge of the area would make anyone feel at home in Villa Nirvana. David, Carroll Swindon.
Nirvana it certainly is! We have had a wonderful time and congratulate you on creating a fantastic villa in a wonderful location. The paella was to die for! We will be back! Andy and Lori
We wanted a relaxing 2 weeks in the sun and that's what we got. You totally respected our privacy but always there if needed. Rose, Steve and Nick

Get away from it all for a peaceful and relaxing stay in Villa Nirvana. The description was accurate regarding the location, layout and facilities. The property was clean and very spacious for a family of four. The owners were on hand if we needed anything but also gave us our privacy. We enjoyed visiting the dinosaur footprints near Bicorp and the boating lake with natural spring in Anna. Florencio in Chella was our favourite restaurant for authentic Spanish food and surroundings. I would definitely recommend this property to friends and relatives. Thank you for a wonderful holiday in rural Spain.
Fabulous and idyllic location
Just back from a relaxing and very enjoyable stay at Villa Nirvana. The location is sublime and the views stunning. The villa is perfect, clean and well-equipped and the pool is lovely, affording views across the hills. Valencia is a simple train ride away, well worth a day trip, and the beautiful beaches of Gandia are only an hour away on excellent roads. John and Jane were always available to offer advice and dogs were regular visitors (Willy was a big hit). We had several meals at La Martina in Chella, where the service and hospitality were excellent. I would highly recommend Nirvana as a perfect getway.
Love escape, friendly hosts!
The property is set within the hills of Chella and can be found up a rustic dirt road where there are a few villas scattered. The lovely home from home is set within the owners grounds, where you are visited by their friendly family pets. The pool is elevated and the views stunning.
The accommodation was simple, clean and comfortable and the friendly owners were excellent hosts, with nothing too much trouble. They provided us with lots of information of things to do whilst we were there. Handy with their property just next door.
A lovely rural retreat, but if complete isolation and privacy is what you are after, then note this villa is attached to the owners, so you will bump in to them (not a problem as they are super lovely)
Thanks for a lovely holiday - the boys still ask about your dogs and we have fantastic memories. The people of Chella are so lovely!!
Fantastic villa in great location!
My family and I had a really wonderful time at villa Nirvana and would recommend highly to any holiday goers. The villa has everything you need and more and the pool and outside areas are terrific.
The owners John and Jane live on the plot and are always available for help and advice but leave you to enjoy your holiday until called upon.
The location is very peaceful but the nearest supermarket is just a ten minute drive and there is plenty of local restaurants and things to do. Valencia is just an hours drive away.
A fantastic villa at a more than reasonable price. When you are lying by the pool sunbathing with 360 degree views of beautiful Spanish countryside I'm sure you'll see what I mean!
Paradise in our beautiful holiday villa!
We arrived to a warm welcome from John who met us at the local supermarket and took all our shopping up the winding road to our villa. This villa is certainly worth the journey and we were greeted by Jane and the friendly dogs (by the end of the holiday our son Oliver wanted to take Willie home with him!) The villa is immacuately clean and well maintained and much more spacious than we expected from the photos. As it is all on one level you can keep the rooms cool in the day with the shutters closed and then open at night to allow the cooler air in. We had wall to wall sunshine for our weeks stay and the pool was a welcome treat at the end of each day. The pool is elevated and gives stunning views of the surrounding countryside and we felt well and truly relaxed sitting around the pool every day reading our books and dipping in and out of the water. John and Jane are great hosts and are there when you need them and on arrival tell you everything you need to know about your stay. We loved making use of the barbeque as it was really easy to cook on and you can wash up in the outside sink area when finished. We enjoyed sitting on the terrace at night playing games and managed badminton and a game of boules whilst we were there. The villa and the surrounding garden and grounds are all immacuately kept and we could not believe it was all ours to use! This really is a great villa to stay in if you want a truly relaxing holiday in a beautiful part of Spain. We visited Valencia by train for the day which is about a 40 minute journey and a wonderful City, Xatavia Castle with stunning views from the top, Gandia beach with the lovely warm mediterranean sea and local villages with some great places to eat. We did not want to leave at the end of our weeks stay. John and Jane have thought of everything you need for the perfect holiday and we would highly recommend booking this villa. Thank you for making our holiday special. Carole, David and Oliver.
Perfect - Everything we hoped for...
We have just returned from an idyllic fortnights stay at Villa Nirvana, just outside of Chella. This was our first trip abroad with our 2 children (8 & 6) and we couldn't have hoped for a more perfect setting. Jane and John have brilliant hosting skills - they offer a lovely welcome and as others have reviewed, invaluable advice about where to go locally, and equally leave you to relax and enjoy the beautiful setting of Villa Nirvana at your leisure. We enjoyed great days out visiting dinosaurs footprints, swimming in stunning natural pools with nobody else around and turning up at the right time (thanks to Jane's guidance) for local fiestas. You can feel like a resident of the quiet little villages here, as opposed to a tourist - its lovely. Balance that with the private use of the most stunning swimming pool with 360 degree mountain views, and you have the perfect holiday. The gentle breeze from being elevated makes for a comfortable temperature, and the outdoor seating that offers shade all day allows you to dip in and out of the heat. This villa enables you to feel totally away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, with the option of going off to explore when you fancy, with a spotlessly clean and well equipped home to return to. Thank you Jane and John - we hope to return for another stay in the coming years - the children with never forget the pool and we will never forget those sunsets.

The inner and outer covered terraces allow for maximum shade or a mix of sun/shade. The summer kitchen area has a double sink, 2 burner gas hob, large gas barbecue and gas paella ring should you want to try to make your own paella (advice freely given). The garden area has children's' swings and is planted with fruit trees and shrubs, but not yet mature enough to provide shade.
