This new top floor apartment with lift access and private roof terrace is in a recently completed exclusive development overlooking the cosmopolitan marina in Cala d'Or. Walking distance to both Cala d'Or and Cala Egos centres. Top floor means great views, sea breezes and no noisy neighbours above. Full facilities include full air-con, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, DVD, TV, Freesat, CD radio, balcony and roof terrace. All electric facilities, no gas. Quiet location, short walk to marina/yacht club. The restaurants and shops of the marina are close by, and there are excellent beaches all around the resort. Roof terrace is for your exclusive use and has sun loungers and views of the port, the sea and the fields and hills behind. The complex is fully gated and private, child friendly and well equipped. Plenty of loungers around the pool and your own on the roof terrace! Very high standard and many repeat bookings.

'Apartment great, everything you need and more-Freeview!, we managed to watch the Olympics!! Complex well maintained and very child friendly-our kids loved the pool. Within walking distance of the marina and excellent restaurants at the marina. All in all thoroughly enjoyed our 2 weeks at El Puerto and will be recommending it to others!' Michael, Helen, Carla and Emilia.



'We have enjoyed our 2 weeks in Cala d'Or The apartment and complex is maintained to a very high standard. All the beaches in Cala d'Or are nice. The one we liked most was Cala Mondrago, 10 mins by car. Pam and Steve (from Cornwall, which is also lovely)

This IS the place...

This apartment has more creature comforts than my own apartment in Zurich, everything you need for a home away from home. The rooms are a good size, certainly not "sardined" in and the apartment was very clean on arrival. The owner could not of been more helpful regarding the advance questions I sent via email and as a result I was confident of a good place to stay before my arrival. I was not at all disappointed.

You don't really need a car as literally everything is walking distance in Cala D'or or Cala Egos. Local transport is a breeze and also local bike, scooter and car hire is a good price. However if you do want car hire from the airport, we could of got car hire for 8 days for a fraction more than our two taxi trips, but that said, everything is walkable locally.

Places to eat are everywhere and most very good (check out TripAdvisor to see and target the best). Beaches can be busy as they are small, but with the warm pool by the apartment we never felt the need for sand.

The harbour is a great place to wander around, relax and also for people watching. This was a perfect and truly relaxing holiday destination and I loved every minute of it.

Guy's apartment is in a great location and has everything you need for a wonderful relaxing holiday.The roof top terrace has great views and is wonderfully quiet and relaxing.Michelle is a fantastic asset and has a wealth of local knowledge.We certainly hope to return soon.thanks for a great holiday.everything you need is on your doorstep so no need for a car.

Great apartment,pool and location . No need for car it's all on your doorstep.Guy was a gent to deal with and holiday was fantastic.5 mins from marina,shops and restaurants, 10 mins to the beach.

Location

From the Owner

I bought the apartment off plan as I liked the location and the developer and could see it being built. The community works very well and suits children and adults alike, not too busy but usually some new friends to make. Cala d'Or is one of those places people seem to keep coming back to. It has the prettiest coastline on the island and plenty of variety. It is not a typical 'bucket and spade' kind of place, just friendly and we seem to get the best of the weather. Not too far from the airport, either. If you enjoy lovely surroundings, a range of activities and a convenient location, I think you'll like it.

Activity and Interests

Nearest Airport : Palma at 65 Kilometres Nearest Golf : Vall d'Or at 4 Kilometres Nearest Restaurant : Yacht Club at 0.2 Kilometres Nearest Beach : D'es Pou at 0.5 Kilometres Car: not necessary

Coast/Beach:

Marina 200 metres, beaches in several directions, nearest ten minutes walk, others within 10 minutes drive including beautiful nature park at Cala Mondrago. One of the Sunday Times top 10 beaches in the world. Tourist bus also runs to beaches (3 euros). Open air 'train' will also take you to a number of local beaches or rent a bike and explore yourself. Glass bottom boat tours will also take you to a number of beaches and let you see this exceptionally lovely coastline from the sea.

Travel:

Palma International Airport is approx 60km. Taxi fare from airport around 70 euros. Car hire recommended but not essential. Dedicated parking space inside the complex right by your stairs/lift.

Distances:

Walking distance to Cala d'Or marina and town - 0.5 km.

Further Details:

Cala d'Or has all the facilities of a modern resort, supermarkets, banks, medical centres and a good programme of events through the summer. Lively but safe for young people. Magalluf it is not! Boat trips, sea school and charter boats all available from the marina. Caves of Drach a short drive away.

Excellent scuba diving locally and several dive centres where you can hire eqipment and learn to dive. Really good restaurants in the area. Up to date information on arrival. Public tennis courts three minutes walk away. Clay courts, flat soles required. Play where Rafa Nadal once did, yes there's a picture of a very young him in the clubhouse!

Large indoor public swimming pool 5 minutes walk away. Squash courts and paddle tennis also available. Horse and pony riding available locally.

Other apartments available in same complex if travelling with others. Cot and high chair by arrangement. Perfect for property hunters, golfers, walkers, sports (tennis, riding, diving, sailing) or pool/beach holidays. Outside: Good sized shared pool with separate children's area and communal loungers. You have your own sun loungers and balcony furniture. Roof terrace is exclusive to the apartment. Now with sun loungers, electricity, electric barbecue, water/shower. The complex is surrounded by traditional stone walls with screens above and is fully gated. There are shared garden areas with lawn and palm trees by the pool. No new building activity in vicinity.
