Fantastic location

A great place to stay, about 5 mins from the beach and central area of the resort. The apartment is situated on a side street, up a steep hill, which is a killer to walk up in the sun. However this lends itself to a most amazing view from the balcony which catches the sun from 12.30pm. We enjoyed breakfast and lunch everyday on our balcony as well as sun bathed here in the afternoons. There was access to a pool when we booked but became unavailable a month before we went, Bill(the owner) gave us the option to cancel or accept a discount on price, which was already good value-which we took. However the beach becomes really crowded and the cost of 2 sun beds and a canopy was 24.50€ a day!! Though you can always find a spot. We therefore had to sit on a towel on the beach-not my best part of the holiday. Also no hairdryer, though this was on the write up so had to rush out and and find one in the resort. Only little moans. The apartment is massive everything available is there, it is decorated in a traditional style with a touch of the 80's thrown in and with a touch of artwork that is very one off. The maid came 3 times and changed the bedding once. The apartment has an air conditioner unit that didn't have much effect so we used the fan provided in our bedroom on a night as it was stifling. The restaurants are all available close by some better than others we would recommend Casa do Bife, Bella Rosa and Paradise Indian which was delicious. Drinks varied enormously in price so we liked to finish up at Mungo's Bar which is directly across from the apartment and was friendly and cheap. We are a couple aged 48 and 51 and would recommend this apartment for it's great location, amazing views and the size with all the mod cons of home!

Fantastic Apartment

What a great apartment. It really surpassed our expectations. The pictures online don't do it justice as it is very spacious and full of character. The living and dining area is huge and the balcony is a great feature with lovely views over the village and ocean. The kitchen is extremely well equipped and also very large as are the main bedroom, adjacent his and hers bathroom and shower room. Location is another plus point as the apartment is just a minute from the main square and beach. WiFi and TV facilities are great too. Will definitely be returning.

Calm in Carvoeiro

We had a lovely 2 week stay in this beautiful, clean, well equipped apartment with fantastic sea and beach views from the large balcony (with table, chairs and sun loungers!). It's very central location is ideal for all the local amenities - restaurants, shops, bars on the doorstep and of course the beach. We have holidayed in Carvoeiro for the last 8 years and this is by far the best accommodation/location we have stayed in. All in all we had a very relaxing holiday in this well spec'd accommodation. The owners Bill and Karin were very helpful when booking the accommodation and with any queries we subsequently had - thank you and we will be back next year.

Fantastic Appartment

Hi Bill, Had many holidays in Portugal in lovely accommodation however your wonderful apartment sets a new standard for us. The pictures (at the time of booking) did not do it justice. The apartment is a fabulous size, well equipped, fantastic balcony with excellent views. Basically my wife and I stayed on the balcony for most of the week. The apartment is well located with lots of wonderful restaurants nearby. Very close to the beach too. The new boardwalk is great for walking/jogging in between eating and drinking. We will definitely be returning.

Our wonderful holiday in Carvoeiro

Hi Bill,

I would just like to thank you for the use of your apartment during our stay in Carvoeiro in July 2014. We have been to Portugal on many occasions but we all agreed that this was one of the best.

The apartment was fantastic. The photographs on the website don't do it enough justice!!!! When we walked in the door (after some encouragement to our two girls who would have been happy to take up residence in the stunning entrance) we were all speechless & totally taken back by the sheer scale of your apartment.

The décor throughout, especially the bathroom, is all very beautiful and lends itself to a very relaxing stay.

The beach was within a very easy walking distance, as were the pool facilities. The town itself is very close by so very little cooking was done in the evenings!!

The apartment was kept spotless at all times by a regular cleaner who I would have brought home with me if I could have :)

Thanks Bill for a lovely holiday in Carvoeiro.
