House in Almunecar, Costa Tropical - Quiet And Peaceful Amongst Tropical Pool And Gardens

The house is situated high up on the Fuentes development 10 mins drive from the Spanish fishing town of Almunecar. The property benefits from breathtaking views of the Mediterranean coastline and the high mountains surrounding the area. The east facing balcony provides a fantastic arena for an early or late breakfast watching the sunrise across the sea. The south facing garden affords sunshine all day amongst the tropical flowers. The comfortable lounge seats 4 people. The dining area seats 6 at the large Indian wood table. The kitchen has modern facilities. Downstairs the bedrooms are tastefully furnished with a large bathroom and toilet area. The property benefits from broadband wireless internet access and UK satellite TV (BBC and ITV), TV and DVD. The southern coast of Spain is pleasant at all times of the year. Sunny and warm in the winter and a cooling breeze in the summer. The area offers easy access to the beaches and coast and also extensive hill walking and skiing.

Stayed for two weeks at start July. The house was perfect for family of four.( two teenagers) Plenty of space and apartment well appointed. Felt really at home. Fantastic views of nearby beach and surrounding hills. Fuentes has two pools and there was always plenty of space at them. Very peaceful, especially at night. Lots to do In surrounding area.

The best view, the best house.

We are a family of 3, though there's plenty of room for 4. Friends stayed at another house at this urbanisation and they were blown away at how fantastic this place is. It was better than we anticipated. All the facilities you need in a holiday home. The view is the best there is. For the price you will not get better than this. The owner is genuine & helpful. Can't fault this location & home. If we return, this is the only place we will rent. Thanks again for the most relaxing place that has character.

Activity and Interests


Almunecar and its associated coastline has many beaches all are within easy reach by car. The nearest beach is 20 minutes walk away (Steep walk back to the house). 5 minutes by car. Nerja is a 20 minute drive.


The house is situated within 1 hour of both Malaga and Granada airports. Car hire is essential especially for families.


Almunecar town with its mix of fabulous restaurants and tapas bars is a 5 minute drive, 20 minute walk away. Granada is 1 hour by car to visit the Alhambra Palace, a must. Regular buses leave Almunecar for Granada. Nerja is a 20 minute drive.

Further Details:

Fuentes offers a relaxing and peaceful holiday. The town benefits from a dive school and paragliding centre. The extensive mountains behind the property afford activity for hill walkers of all abilities. There is also a wildlife park a 40 minute drive into the mountains at Pena Escrita as well as the stunning caves at Nerja. There are several golf courses within easy reach of Almunecar.
