About the Owner

We are two families that jointly own the apartment. We love our home from home in the sun and rent it out over the summer months to help pay the mortgage. Vila Sol offers everything for a fantastic family holiday in close proximity to Vilamoura Marina with a fast array of shops, bars and restaurants and very near to the spectacular Aqua Show and Water Park.

‘We had a fab time in Portugal, your apartment is stunning, we loved the decor and it was a great location for access to 3 big pools and 2 kids pools. Vila Sol is a beautiful resort and at the hotel you can play tennis, golf or have a go at the driving range if you are not a golfer. I would return to the apartment again and would recommend it to anyone as its great for families, couples and of course golfers’.M Boyle



‘A fantastic apartment in a great location. The apartment is very spacious and very clean. Just behind, but far enough away not to be disturbed are three swimming pools (one heated) a Jacuzzi and a bar – what more could anyone ask for! Perfect - Just what we wanted!

The apartment was just what we wanted, great location near to the onsite ships, bars and restaurants. We hired a car and the local towns were easy to get to. Near to the beach but the onsite swimming pool was lovely and quiet.

The apartment was clean and tidy, had everything we needed and the balcony overlooking the pool was lovely positioned meaning we could sit out at all times of the day.

Communication with the owner was easy and a pleasure to do business with.... Would recommend greatly!

Great apartment, very clean and extremely well situated. Met all our expectations for our holiday.

I hired a car and this apartment is 10 minutes to great beaches, 10 minutes from Vilamoura, 15 minutes from Almancil which has some great restaurants and 5 minutes from the local supermarket. It is also 2 minutes walk from a number of good bars and ,restaurants.

The apartment is well situated with a large grass area directly in front of the balcony and no one looking directly in. A short distance from the swimming pool but also far enough to be peaceful if you prefer that. Car parking is directly in front of the door with a single flight of stairs to the apartment.

The balcony is in shade in the morning which was great for eating breakfast and in full sunlight from early afternoon and all evening which was fantastic.

The swimming pool area is securely fenced with fob access, the access to the pool area is from the main footpath which would require supervision for young children but once in it is very secure. The pool area has a pool bar which has wi-fi although wi-if is not available in the apartment.

The owner was very easy to deal with, friendly and accommodating. The instructions and directions provided were first class.

I would definitely return to this apartment in the future.

Vilamoura Marina and Beach are both a 5 min drive away from the apartment.

Travel:

The apartment is 15 mins drive from Faro International Airport.

Distances:

Vilamoura itself is a modern town which surrounds its own spectacular, welcoming waterfront cafes, bars, clubs and restaurants as well as boasting a sophisticated casino on the marina. A taxi into Vilamoura is relatively inexpensive (c.6 euros). The beautiful market town of Loule is a 10 minute drive from Vila Sol and the coastal resorts of Albufeira and Carveiro for an enjoyable day out are within a short driving distance.
