We had a wonderful stay at your apartment at Cala Egos The apartment was spotlessly clean and had everything you wanted .The complex and swimming pool added to the holiday also the little bar were you could get little snacks.The furniture in the apartment was lovely and in really good condition and had been looked after.Would recommend the apartment to our friends Hope to go back next year.

Perfect family holiday

This was our first time in Cala egos and doing a self catering holiday with my husband and children. The complex was beautiful and clean, and secure as you can only get out using your apartment keys which helped to alleviate my anxieties about the children running off. The apartment was perfect, plenty of room for us all and we enjoyed a sun filled terrace too. Having two seperate bathrooms was brilliant as we didn't have to que to use the shower or toilet. The apartment had everything we needed to relax and enjoy our stay. If we did need anything there was a shop across the road which was handy and convenient.

The complex was quiet at night which we loved as its situated in a predominantly residential area so there was no loud music to cramp our relaxing atmosphere.

The onsite bar at the complex was lovely and served an array of food and drinks to suit us all and its seating area was brilliant as we could see the children safely in the pool while we enjoyed a cool drink. The staff of the bar were always friendly and helpful.

The location of this complex is wonderful as a short walk down the road you are greeted with varying restaurants and bars to suit everyone's taste. We enjoyed eating at many of them during our stay.

All the people who were staying at the complex were friendly and talkative which was lovely to experience.

We will be going back to Cala egos again as it ticked all the boxes for our relaxing family holiday.

Thank you to Mark and Sharon for letting us use your beautiful apartment. We were extremely happy with the accommodation and would wish to come back in the future.

Lovely apartment, lovely complex

Our family (2 adults, 2 teenagers) stayed in this apartment for 10 days in July. The apartment itself is of a high standard, spotlessly clean with large rooms throughout and a spacious terrace off the living room. The complex is small so always room around the pool and scramble for sunbeds! The restaurants and shops in Cala Egos are less than 10 mins walk and the onsite Bistro is a bonus. A slightly longer walk to Cala D'Or Marina but worth it for the range of restaurants.

All in all a very relaxing break - a high quality apartment in a great location.

Perfect tranquility!

We stayed at Mr Green's apartment for two weeks and truly enjoyed our stay! Residencia Cala Dorada was everything that we wanted since we have small children, a beautiful garden, a perfect sized pool with a children corner and it never got crowded.

The apartment was all that we could expect, good planning, a nice terrace with shade in the evening which is perfect after a long day in the sun!

We will for sure go to Residencia Cala Dorada again, since Cala Egos and Cala d'Or was an overall great place to visit for vacation during summer time.

Cala d or Residence - july 2015

Great location in Cala Egos, with large, excellent shared swimming pool. Local shops were only 5 minutes walk. Airport transfer was organised via owner (very efficient door to door). Recommend evening meals at the nearby Marina, little more expensive but much better value for money (only 10 mins walk). Great holiday - many Thanks..

We had the most amazing stay at this beautiful apartment, as we holidayed with another couple, it was just perfect for our needs. Two spacious bedrooms were complimented by 2 bathrooms(unusual luxury in an apartment), and a lovely open plan kitchen/diner/living space which we found very comfortable. We also enjoyed many balmy evenings on the spacious terrace, although it was good to retreat to the aircon if there was no breeze. The apartment was spotlessly clean and had everything we could possibly need for our stay, even a dishwasher! Nice touch to have the board games, books, etc, especially if bringing children, although the pool was so fantastic I doubt they would have any energy left. We really like the fact the complex was totally secured (gated access), again perfect for kids, and your peace of mind.

The location was also very convenient, well stocked supermarket just a few steps outside the complex, and we could also walk to many local pubs, good quality restaurants and shops, in less than 10 mins. Calador (20/30 mins walk/5 mins in taxi) offers the most amazing Marina, with many top end restaurants and cocktail bars (our favourite). Calador also offers a real buzz of nightlife in the main town, whatever your preference.

We will definitely return soon and would highly recommend this first rate, convenient, and excellently presented apartment.

Activity and Interests


The apartment has two safe beaches ideal for families within a 4 minute walk. A 3 minute walk also leads to the headland where you will find a natural seawater pool. Numerous other beaches are in the vivinity. Boat trips and many water activities can be found locally.


Palma Airport is 45 minutes drive away, 33 miles on good roads. Taxis run 24 hours a day and cost around 55-65 Euros. Everything for the perfect holiday is on your doorstep, so a car is not needed unless you wish to explore this wonderful island. Car hire can be easily arranged locally if required.


Palma 35 miles. Marina 10 minute walk. Beaches 4 minute walk. Supermarket 2 minute walk and larger all year round 7 minute walk. Shops, restaurants, bank, medical centre, car and bike hire, bus stops, taxi rank 4 minute walk.

Further Details:

Cala D'Or has a reputation for being a real holiday favourate for visitors to the island, with pedestrain walkways, numerous shops with restaurants catering for all tastes and budgets. The whole area is very picturesque with safe sandy coves. All amenities are closeby making this the perfect choice for a glorius holiday.
