Fantastic location within the heart of Puerto del Carmen, but a few minutes walk away (on flat ground) to all essential local amenities. This superb two bed apartment (sleeps 4), with an option for a 5th person on the z type bed. It is situated on a quiet small well maintained complex, with both a large and kiddie size swimming pool. This apartment has all you need to ensure you have a wonderful stay. It is a Non-Smoking apartment, although you may smoke on the terrace, using ashtray provided.

Why Tracey Chorlton chose Puerto del Carmen - Tias

We bought the property to break up the long winters, by getting some very much needed sun to see us through the winter period, in our ski resort permanent home.

The location appealed to us as it is truely walking distance to the beach and all amenities, yet far enough away not to endure the noise levels of such a busy street.

The selection of restaurants are so varied and great value for money.

To us it is a great all round holiday home, this is why we want to share it with you.

What makes this apartment unique

We are lucky to have bought one of the only few apartments that boasts a huge terrace, which is ideal for all, especially parents of small children. It also has direct visual access to the large pool area.

The complex is also very well kept and certainly on our visits, we have found co-habitees to respect noise levels during the evenings.

We are also extremely fortunate to have an excellent managing agent who takes care of the day to day running of our property for us.

Notes on accommodation: Gated and safe complex for children. The apartment has both a front and rear entrance/exit. Outside: The large sun terrace has an alfresco table with 6 chairs and a big umbrella, for when you need some shade. There is also 6 comfortable sun loungers, 2 reclining chairs and table with a view to the pool area, so you can keep an eye on the little one/s. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: All bedding, towels and tea towels are provided. You will need only to bring a beach towel or better still buy one when you arrive. The apartment is cleaned weekly including linen and towel changes. Other: There are many varied books throughout the apartment to read and/or swop.

Fantastic

Had a great stay, apartment super and great service. Kids had a great time and met lots of new friends also old ones who they met a few years ago. Near to shops bars and restaurants but far enough back not to get any noise. We love lanzarote and Will visit again soon.

Great Location and Amenities

We have stayed at this apartment for short stays of one or two weeks every winter since 2005. We can't fault it. This winter we are looking forward to staying much longer - a real home from home. The property is on the level, no hills, 150 metres from the Casino and beach - very handy for everything, including shops, restaurants and nightlife. The owners improve/upgrade the property (including furniture) each time we visit. Last time we only took hand luggage and used the washing machine lots!

hi

spent a week in the appartment in july-

great location and great appartment

the sun terrace is just brilliant - you can

sunbath all day and keep nipping to the pool

for a dip- now and again- your right at your

appartment all the time - so its just so easy

would recommend it to any one - theres a great bar

at the gates for beer oclock .. and they do light music

entertainment around 5-7pm 3 times a week,

just the best place to stay in lanzarote and great location

so close to everything - taxi from airport can be sorted for you

and it only take 10 minuets -- roll on next year

The apartment is well kept and situated over looking the whole pool complex. Spacious patio area for evening drinks with other guests. Our 11th visit to this complex but our first in this apartment, we will be booking this one agin

Coast/Beach:

A short 2 minute walk from the apartment on flat ground will find you at the local sandy beach with excellent bar/restaurants, where you can sit and gaze out across the crystal blue waters and/or keep a watchful eye on the kids. Strolling along the promenade for about 5 - 10 minutes will bring you to the main beach of Playa Grande, where you can hire sun-loungers and umbrellas. A good 20 - 30 minutes walk will bring you to the old fishing harbour, with lots of restaurants, bars and a kiddie play area.

Travel:

10 - 15 minutes taxi ride from the Arrecife airport will cost you around 10 - 20 euros. A car is not essential as all local amenities are literally on your doorstep, but as car hire is very reasonable and readily available, I would recommend it, if you wish to tour the island. Especially if it is your first visit to Lanzarote.

Distances:

Within a 40 - 60 minute drive you can visit most attractions on the island. Puerto del Carmen is a lively resort, with an enourmous choice of bars, restaurants, shops, to suit all tastes and budgets. All of these are within easy reach of the apartment by foot.

We are more than happy to answer any questions that you may have concerning the apartment or the island, as we attempt to regularly visit in between our guests bookings. We endevour on our visits to up-date the information folder and apartment. Being a family based resort there are many activities close at hand to entertain the children. We know as we visited them enough when our three boys were small.

We endevour to answer all requests within 24 - 48 hours. If you do not get a response after this period, (we travel a lot), please try one of our mobiles or our work contact details. We now need full payment upon agreed booking dates this is due to being let down at the last minute by some guests.

Changeover Day:
The usual changeover day is Thursday, but where we can be flexible we will be, on a first booking payment basis. The apartment is available from 3 pm (15.00) and departure is necessary by 10.00am. This is flexible should there be no incoming guests.
