Beautiful, clean, spacious apartment

This apartment is as described above, with all mod cons. The apartment itself is decorated to a very high standard. It's very clean & has everything needed to make your stay 'a home from home'. The balcony is lovely to sit at for breakfast & occasionally lunch as the sun shines on it all day. The pool is very clean, & has a code so that only those staying in the apartments could use it. This allowed my teenagers to go in whilst I watched them from the balcony. The view is fabulous being on the top floor {there is a lift, which was a Godsend to me}! The key safe is a brilliant idea. It is close to a spar, hairdressers, & all the local restaurants & bars we found to be of good standard. The Gallery even made a special 'party table' & gave free deserts to my children who had their 14th birthday whilst staying there. One thing I will add is that beach towels are needed. Luckily my friend lives locally & loaned us some but apart from that there is everything - even down to a safe. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay & the children are already planning their return trip. Thankyou Keith & Janet for allowing us to stay in your beautiful apartment. 😊

We have been coming to the Algarve since the early Eighties and about 5 years ago visited the western Algarve Lagos and surrounding areas and felt at ease with the area. We loved the pace of life and the beautiful scenery and ease of travel. Once we visited Luz we fell in love with the place and decided to think about buying a property. We found St James and despite visiting many other places in Luz kept coming back to this complex.

Activity and Interests

Special interest holidays:

If you venture into Lagos there are many companies offering excursions to see Dolphins, cave formations and other areas of interest. Deep sea fishing is also available.

In the surrounding areas you will also find water parks and other activities to keep children entertained.


Clean safe blue flag beach is a 5-10 min walk away where you will find plenty of water activities, or sit and relax on one of the many sun loungers.


Faro airport is around 45/60 minutes by road, taxis are available at the airport and there is a train from Faro to Lagos. Car hire can be arranged upon request.


Lagos is a 10 minute drive away or take the local bus. Local taxis cost around €10 each way. The far western coast of Portugal with places such as Sagres and Cape St Vincent are within 30 minutes drive.

From the Owner

Ease of convenience the beach is 5 mins walk away as are the local bars and great restaurants. There are many attractions in the summer with the pool and beach and water slide parks etc to visit. After the summer things are a bit quieter and perfect for relaxation. The apartment is large and roomy with sea views and a nice balcony to enjoy a drink or read your favourite book. Or if you must check on your social media via free Wi Fi

  • Notes on accommodation: Cots and highchairs are available upon request. put u up bed available on request Strictly non smoking. We are very safety conscious and have fitted UK carbon monoxide detector, smoke alarm and fire blanket. accomadation is on top floor at the end of the corridor so no passing guests and no access to apartment via windows so very secure. Outside: Two shared pools one being a children's pool. Well maintained gardens, childrens play area on site.Pool-side toilet and changing facilities. Blue flag beach 5/10min walk with water sports. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels and linen are included and are changed once weekly.
