This stylish, modern 2 bed apartment is located on the exclusive 'Marina de Lagos' complex. The newly-built apartment with its open plan living space, combines style, comfort and convenience. The apartment is located on the 2nd floor in a secure complex with video entry phone. The interior comprises a large master bedroom with marble en-suite bathroom. There is a further double bedroom with two single beds and a second shower/guest bathroom. The kitchen comprises a hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and washer/dryer, dishwasher. The living area is light and spacious and opens onto a wide balcony through double French doors. The apartment is fully air- conditioned, cable tv and DVD. The large terrace is perfect for dining, sunbathing or sipping sangria while enjoying the views or watching the sunset. The terrace enjoys a south facing aspect. A 10 minute walk to the beautiful town centre of Lagos and only 10 minutes walk to the great beach & on the Marina, Supermarket 1 minute walk.

I went with my parents to visit Portugal a few weeks before I got married and stayed in the Marina Club. Spotted the apartments on the Marina and so enjoyed Lagos and the Marina as it is such a nice development that we decided that we would make it our permanent holiday spot. The apartment is very well maintained and my mom spends her holiday washing the pillows etc.... We have a lovely lady Sandra who will meet and greet you and is available if you have any queries during your holiday. We really enjoyed the area, plenty of flights to faro and and easy drive from Faro... The Marina is great as its got a lovely atmosphere but is very classy and all amenities are within walking distance so we don't hire a car and totally switch off well we would if my husband would turn off his mobile..

What makes this apartment unique

A break away from all the talk of the economy in Ireland is a big plus to being away... but I always look forward to an evening drink on the balcony as it gets great heat and sun till late in the evening.

Notes on accommodation: Balcony secure for children childrens cot, easy walk to town, very secure apartment, Fully air- conditioned. Balcony a great sun trap ideal for evening drinks. Free Wifi. Sleeps 5. Apartment very well maintained my father goes twice a year and does all mainteance and re freshs paint. We hope you enjoy staying in Lagos as much as we do. It is a great spot for families and the food is very good and nicely priced. I hope you enjoy. Feel free to call with any queries. Outside: The apartment is perfectly located in thelovely and ideally located Dom Manuel complex yet it is close enough to reach all Lagos has to offer on foot, a car is not required. Guests staying in this lovely complex can enjoy the fantastic swimming pool, beautifully maintained gardens with sun loungers and parasols. This is quite unique as Dom Manuel is the only complex within the Marina to boast its own private swimming pool! The garden area is gated to ensure it maintains its exclusivity and also to provide privacy for its guests. There is only a small number of apartments on this sought after complex which has a relaxed and friendly atmosphere and offers its guests the space to unwind and fantastic facilities to enjoy. There is a great supermarket just across the road to the rear of the apartment which opens till 9pm. There truly is something for everyone here and with everything on your doorstep you can do as much or as little as you choose. Utility Room: Back balcony handy for drying clothes and storing beach equipment. Lovely view of new landscaped gardens. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Full service on a two week rental. Towel change and tidy mid - week on request charges apply, subject to terms of rental.

Location, apartment layout , pool area was great. Apartment disappointing and needed refreshing.

Location 15 mins to beach and town bus terminal. Pool and garden area were superb, plenty beds and shade. Marina restaurants and bars were very good. Plenty entertainment. Apartment tired in places and needed work done. We had problem with Washing machine but it was renewed in a day.

Good Location

Nice apartment, the balcony is never really in full sun, you get the sun at the edge of the balcony in the afternoon but it''s very nice sitting in the warm shade.The apartment is very near the supermarket and a 15 minute walk takes you to the town. The pool area is good, and it it provided entertainment watching the early morning sun lounge hoggers putting their towels down to reserve the beds for the day 🙈?

Fantastic apartment in fantastic location

Just got back from a great 10 night stay at this apartment. It was the first time my family had booked a non-package holiday. Was a little worried to be honest but needn't have been. The family that own this place are genuine decent to deal with people.

Sandra, their on site rep was great. Meeting us as we arrived having had a call once we left the airport. She let us in and showed us around. She also answered any questions we had.

The apartment itself was more home from home than anything we have ever had in a package deal. You can tell it is owned by a family who care about the place. The quality of the mattresses, the abundance of coat hangers, big mugs in the kitchen cupboards rather than tiny white cups and saucers. Just little things that made our holiday really nice. Two bathrooms was a great bonus as well having two teenagers.

The pool area was great. Plenty of sun loungers, although there was a problem of people reserving them with towels at the crack of dawn.....but then I think this is a problem everywhere!

The marina, Lagos town and Mia Pria beach are in easy reach. Plenty of good restaurants nearby.

All in all a great appartment in a great location. Wouldn't hesitate to go back in the future.

Lovely apartment in an ideal location.

We loved Lagos and the location of the apartment. The weather was great when we were there, easter weekend was busy in the town but the rest of the week quieter. The pool was great but evenings were chilly - the fifth put-up bed could have done with a light duvet as the other beds had but otherwise the apartment was very clean and well appointed. We thouroughly enjoyed our stay in the apartment and Lagos town and we will definitely return. Andrew and Alison.

A relaxing, enjoyable stay!

For us, a semi-retired couple, this large apartment "ticked all the boxes". The location at the Lagos Marina was excellent. It was a 10-minute interesting walk to the town, the beach, the bus station, and the train station. The supermarket and a local bus stop were just around the corner. Although the back balcony overlooked a busy road, the apartment was soundproof. The large front balcony was sunny, with a lovely view of the pool, the well-kept grounds, and the town. The separate large kitchen had a full-sized fridge and dishwasher, a microwave, and a cooktop. For coffee there was a French press, fine for 2 people but perhaps a problem for more. An electric kettle and 3 different sizes of teapots took care of tea-making. A drying rack and clothespins were supplied. We did not use the washing machine. The furniture in all rooms was comfortable, and quite adequate. There was excellent light for reading. The elevator was appreciated for getting groceries up to the second floor. Free WiFi and a modern TV with some English channels were welcome amenities. The English-speaking owners were very fair and pleasant to deal with. The local Portuguese, English-speaking manager, Sandra, was most obliging and pleasant. For our long-stay of a month there was a weekly cleaning and change of linens arranged by Sandra. There was a large quantity of cutlery and place settings so it wasn't necessary to run the dishwasher's full cycle every day. The nearby Pingo Doce has long hours and delicious rotisserie chickens! The owners even supplied some books in English and we contributed some of our own for the next renters. the heaters in each room worked well for the odd chilly February evening. All in all, our one-month stay in February and March in this apartment was an excellent experience!

Great location!

We have just returned from a lovely holiday in Lagos. This apartment was perfect for us as it was close to the marina and only a short walk to the old town where there were plenty of cafes, restaurants and bars to choose from, even at this time of year. The beautiful beach was a little further but worth the walk.

The apartment itself was very clean and comfortable and ideally situated as the sun shone on the balcony from late morning till early evening.

The kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable and there was lots of wardrobe space.

We loved it and will definitely return!

Coast/Beach:

The apartments are located a 10 min walk from the beautiful golden sands of Meia Praia beach. From the waterfront you can enjoy many day trips and activities including dolphin safaris, diving, para gliding and boat trips to the grottos.

Travel:

The complex is located 50km from Faro airport and is served by an excellent motorway. Journey time is approx 45 minutes. A private taxi can be arranged for collection at the airport; please ask for details when making a booking. Alternatively, transfer can be arranged through resorthoppa or yellowfish, both of whom can be found on the internet.

Distances:

The apartments are ideally located within walking distance of the bus and train station where transport can be found to all of the many attractions of the Algarve, including the water parks, Zoo Marine, Zoo, Algarve shopping centre, Cape de St. Vincent, shops, supermarket, bars. Restaurants and the waterfront 5 mins walk away, golf courses approx 10 mins drive.

Further Details:

The Marina complex is the place to stay to enjoy the many attractions of Lagos. Quality restaurants, bars, shops, a large supermarket and many cafes can be reached within a five minute walk. Car hire is absolutely not required and transfers from the local airport can be arranged at time of booking. The complex benefits from 24 hour security all year and because it is part of the award winning Marina hotel complex, is maintained to an extremely high standard.

Faro - Lagos - Driving

Via Infante de Sagres (A22) Portimão / Lagos direction. Exit from the A22 Lagos East / Odiáxere.

When you get to Lagos the signs indicate the route to Marina de Lagos.
