Located on the outskirts of the charming little hilltop village of Droushia (also called Drouseia) this 2 bedroom villa enjoys magnificent views across the entire Chrysochous Bay. Terrace, patio, established gardens with sunbeds, umbrellas and furniture, private pool (8x4m) with Roman steps, pool shower and a brick BBQ, set in a private cul-de-sac. Only a 10 minutes walk from local tavernas and a 10 minute drive to the beach. It offers the chance to experience traditional Cypriot village life in a little discovered part of Cyprus.

Love this place!

I love this villa! Roomy villa with all the facilities you need. Spotlessy clean & well maintained. The location is perfect as it's quiet and picturesque with amazing views. Close enough to nip to Polis & Latchi for evening meals which are high quality, great service & good value. My second visit to the villa this year & itching to return. You won't be disappointed. Car hire essential which is fine as there's a car port to keep it cool. 5 star bliss :)

Coast/Beach:

The village which only has a population of just over 400 and where life has gone on unchanged for generations is full of character and offers the visitor the opportunity to experience true Cypriot village hospitality. It also has a handful of very good traditional tavernas and a small shop. Alternatively you can drive the 10-15 minutes or so to the small fishing village of Latchi with its picturesque harbour and fine seafood restaurants or the 'Blue Flag' beach at Polis.

Travel:

Paphos international airport is a 45 min drive away. Car hire easily available from the airport or locally is highly recommended. Please contact us for further details.

Distances:

Droushia (also called Drouseia) with its narrow winding streets and traditional stone houses is 27km from Paphos and 10km inland from Polis and Latchi which both have decent beaches and tavernas.

Further Details:

Kathikas with its winery and a couple of good tavernas is a 5 mins drive inland.

  • Notes on accommodation: Air conditioning is an extra £4 per unit per day 10% discount if paid for in advance at time of booking (or 6 Euros per unit per day payable locally). Outside: A large private garden including traditional Cypriot BBQ area, plenty of terrace areas for sun bathing. Outside table and chairs and sun beds. Outside there is an 8x4m private pool (with Roman steps not ladder), BBQ area, covered parking, patio area's, sun loungers and umbrellas, patio furniture and established garden with shrubs, trees and flowers. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Weekly maid service included in price as is all linen and towels (except beach towels). Additional maid visits can be arranged in advance at a cost of £50 each.
