The property has been beautifully and tastefully restored to reflect a typical Andalucian town house. The house is centrally located and within easy walking distance of the shops, bank, restaurants, bars, the peaceful tropical park and municipal pool and tennis courts. The house is up a quiet side street with no passing traffic and the spacious roof terrace complete with 4 person hot tub/spa to warm up in the spring or cool off in the summer heat, looks out over the village and has sea views. A beautiful place to dine, sunbathe, watch the stunning sunsets or just chill and plan your days.

The kitchen/diner/lounge is found on the first floor and therefore enables easy dining on the terrace with only one flight of stairs to climb with food and drinks etc. A perfect place for family holidays, lazy days with friends or a romantic getaway just for the 2 of you. Available all year round with the owners on hand to meet and greet you, and having lived in the area for 4 years, are always happy to advise you on the best places to go.

Peace, sunshine and donkeys.

We have just returned after a week like no other. It's difficult to explain without visiting Algarrobo, so I suggest you do. As previously mentioned in a review, it really is like stepping back in time. You can watch the odd donkey in the village or the parrots in the palm trees in the bars on the beach. Walking from the village to the coast is easy and follows the river bed . As for the owner, Lena, nothing was too much trouble. Transfers were arranged and even a trip to the supermarket after I had made a mistake with the arrival times. Everyone without exception was friendly and the language barrier was not a problem. Algarrabo is laid back but still full of life and grows on you day by day , so much so that we were sad to leave. Thanks once again to Lena and we hope to see you again, Dawn and Gregg.

FAB week in Algarrobo

We have just returned from an amazing week at this townhouse. The house was great, typically Spanish and very quaint. Lena & RIch, the owners, were on hand for any info we needed and even did our airport transfers. The village itself is amazing, just like stepping back in time. People so friendly & welcoming even though we did not speak a word of Spanish we got by and this made the holiday even more special. Would recommend and we will be returning asap. Thanks. Coast/Beach:

Algarrobo Pueblo is located only 3 miles from Algarrobo Costa Beach and 4 miles from the beautiful harbour and fishing port at Caleta.

Travel:

Malaga Airport is 35km (20 miles) away and is all motorway up to 1.5 miles from the village.

Car hire is not essential as the village is a 5 minute taxi drive from Torre Del Mar and has frequent buses to and fro. However a car is recommended to truly see and enjoy all the mountains and other villages nearby.

Distances:

Torre Del Mar is 5 miles away.

Nerja is 10 miles away.

Further Details:

Algarrobo Pueblo has a variety small shops and supermarket.

Plenty of bars and restaurants and 1 bank with ATM.

Torre Del Mar has every type of restaurant, shop, supermarkets etc.

Caleta market on Saturdays must not be missed or Torre Del Mar market on Thursdays.
