Apartment in Albufeira, Algarve, Portugal - 10 Minutes Walk To The Old Town Square And Beaches
Situated in a quiet location, at the front of a popular complex. There is ample free parking at the complex, however a car is not required as everything is within walking distance. This modernised 1 bedroom apartment has stunning sea views across the terracotta roofs of the atmospheric old town. There are twin beds in the bedroom and a double bed settee in the lounge, so you can bring the kids as well ! Behind the apartment you will find, reception, 2 swimming pools, mini market, bar/restaurant, kiddies pool and play area, tennis court, 5 a side pitch, games room, set amongst superb palm tree filled gardens. Albufeira square and beaches are a mere 10 mins walk with the nearest bars and restaurants only 5 mins walk. Montechoro and Areias de Sao Joao where you will find " the strip " is about seven minutes taxi ride and about a 40 minute walk from Albufeira. The apartment is ideal for families and couples. I live in the North East of England. I work as an Independent Financial Adviser. I first went to Portugal about 15 years ago and fell in love with the place. When I decided to buy property abroad, I looked all around Spain, Turkey, Bulgaria, which made me realise even more that Portugal was the place to be! I love going to the Apartment, for me it is my home from home, I could easily live there. Waking up each morning, sitting on the balcony have breakfast in the Sunshine, Heaven!

Hi John! Thank you so much for another amazing stay! I absolutely love your apartment and we already can't wait until next summer when we book up with you again! Love that you have a hob now, I struggled a little with the freezer but only as I was scared as there was a note saying not to turn it up above 4! But still it kept my wine very very chilled :-) Be in touch very soon!
Lovely apartment with lovely views of Albufeira
The property was very clean and well equipped. The view from the balcony is outstanding, to the sunsets and sunrise. The owner has provided everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible, from the well equipped kitchen, to the books, cd's and dvd's. The balcony has a good seating area and there is even a barbeque provided.
The pool area is clean and equipped with loungers and parasols. There is a pool bar which helps to keep you cool in the hot sun.
Albufeira old town is a short distance away and 'bounces' at night with lots of restaurants and pubs with bands. My favourite was Bar Street which buzzes with street performers, bands and karaoke.
The marina is a 20 minute walk away and well worth a visit. The 'strip' is also a 'hectic' place to visit, a short taxi or train bus ride away but is geared more towards younger holidaymakers whereas the Square in the old town is more for older holidaymakers, ideal for people watching!
The property is as it 'says on the tin' and the manager provides very good customer service including airport transfers with an excellent taxi firm.
I would certainly recommend this property to friends and relatives. It lacks nothing. I will certainly be returning.
The apartment was really lovely with plenty of space. The view from the balcony was amazing and we loved sitting there in the evening having a few drinks and playing cards with the kids. Overall a lovely stay and would definately go back and recommend to others. John was really helpful with arranging the transfers and giving us useful information about the area. We were very impressed with albuferia and really enjoyed our stay in the apartment.The apartment was what we expected and the views were amazing.Had everything we needed.No downfalls for apartment,the pool however had hardly any sunbeds and the grass verge was too packed so we had to sit mainly on chairs.Was not too impressed with this.However we did go out to old town at night and enjoyed all the entertainment going on there.Very busy and lots to do.

This apartment is in a perfect location just a short walk from the old town. It has an amazing view from the balcony. The apartment was very clean.
The information book was very helpful, advising on places to eat, visit, bars etc.
We did order an Indians from one on the menus, very nice.
The beach is also close by and there's a pool.
I would recommend the sunset cruise to the caves. Just a short walk to the marina.
Would definitely recommend it and would like to return.

“A picture paints a thousand words, look at that view! The apartment itself is superbly located at the front of the complex. The complex is in a quiet, semi residential area, yet only minutes walk away from the nightlife and fantastic beaches. The complex is easy to reach by car and the delights of the Algarve are easily reached from Albufeira. The climate on the Algarve, in my opinion is excellent, hot enough in the Summer but never too hot due to the ocean breezes, nights are cool meaning a decent nights sleep and never too cold in the short winter months, over 300 days of Sunshine a year and of course the lovely Portuguese people!”

10 minutes walk to the superb beaches of Albufeira. A couple of minutes drive to even more, glorious beaches.
Faro airport is 35 minutes drive from the apartment. Owner can arrange taxi transfers.
Slide and Splash, Algarve Shopping Centre and ZooMarine are only 15 mins drive. Silves and Monchique 20 minutes drive, Cape St Vincent (the end of the world) 45 minutes drive. The new motor racing track at Portimao, which hosts the superbikes and cars is only 20 minutes drive. A new go cart track is also opening there shortly.
5 mins walk to the nearest (off complex) mini market, bars and restaurants with all the nightlife, shops, banks of Albufeira square a further 5 mins walk.
The separate resort of Montechoro and Areias de Sao Joao, where you will find "the strip" is about 7 minutes in a taxi and about a 40 minute walk from Albufiera.

“The location of course, well equipped modernised apartment,new for 2016, fridge with ice box, and for budding Jamie Oliver's, two new cooking rings, new electric grill, to compliment the microwave and BBQ on the balcony. Cable TV, Playstation,DVD player, books,DVD's, card and board games. The lovely pool area, three tennis courts (with sea view!) Mature well stocked gardens with palm trees and colourful plants. Natural air-conditioning (just open the windows). 24 hour reception with internet access. In the Winter months, I like to cook a candlelit barbecued meal on the balcony and sit under the stars, enjoying that wonderful vista!”

- Notes on accommodation: This Apartment is privately owned and is modern, well equipped and more importantly is it's position on the complex, it is right at the front avoiding all the steps those positioned at the top of the complex face. You will not be charged extra for a safe and you will not be charged extra to watch the flat screen TV. Portugal has one of the worst road death records in Europe but it also has one of the lowest crime rates in Europe. The Apartment is very secure as it is opposite a 24 hour reception and there is a locked door into the block and of course a locked door into the Apartment. The balcony cannot be accessed from outside (unless Spiderman has decided to take his Annual vacation on the Algarve ! There is also a safe in the Apartment for your use. Outside: There are superb, well maintained gardens with established palm trees, colourful flowers, lawns and bushes. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels and linen included with weekly servicing. Other: Southerly facing balcony with fantastic ocean views and barbecue, with table and chairs for morning coffee or evening drinks.
