Apartment in Torrox Costa, Costa del Sol - Peaceful Location, 5 minutes from the Beach

Situated up a gently rising valley facing the coast, this pretty development has a surprisingly peaceful atmosphere considering how near it is to the beach. Fully furnished for self=catering the comfortable apartment is within short walking distance of four restaurants on the nearby beach; four minutes by car to the wonderful 2/3 mile beach promenade at Torrox Costa with at least 20 restaurants; and 10 minutes by car to the magical town of Nerja which boasts between 400 and 500 bars and restaurants.

Terrace has 2 sun loungers, table and 4 chairs. Ample parking space close to apartments. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels and linen included. Property cleaned before and after every let. Extra cleaning/laundry services during long lets are the client's responsibility and can be arranged privately at local rates.

Great place for a relaxing break

Arrived 16th april 2018 stayed 10 days, weather was great. no problem finding the property directions and instructions were spot on. Apartment just right for 2 people everything you needed was there. The terrace is great for sunbathing if thats what you want to do. If I tell you too much I may not be able to book it next year so I'll end here.

Attractive and well-maintained apartment

This is a very pleasant, comfortable well-maintained apartment with a terrace that has a wonderful view over gardens and the sea. A great base for a couple or single person wishing to explore the area. A pleasant beach is just five minutes walk, and there are sunny communal gardens at the back of the apartment block. I stayed there in November and it was very quiet but warm and sunny every day. Strongly recommended.

Great apartment with fantastic view

This was our second stay at this apartment; we had a great week and the weather was fabulous. Blue skies every day and warm evenings which we enjoyed on the balcony overlooking the sea. The apartment was clean and tidy on our arrival with everything you need for a self catering holiday. We didn't use the internet but wifi is available in many of the bars. We had a car, the apartment is an easy drive from the airport and parking is close by. There are plenty of shops and supermarkets in nearby Torrox Costa just a few minutes up the road. We like the beach at El Morche which is the far end of Torrox Costa and is more sandy than the nearest beach. Being October some of the beach bars were closed but there were still plenty of places for coffee or beer and lots of restaurants to choose from. Around and about there are plenty of places to visit; driving up into the mountains or along the coast beyond Nerja there is plenty of stunning scenery.

We would recommend this apartment and hope to visit again.

Bright sunny apartment with everything you need

Enjoyed a stay here in August, the apartment is bright and open with a great balcony area. The walk down to the pool and sea is a little steep but its not to bad (or you could drive). The beach is mainly pebbles and stones but never to busy even at peak times and there are plenty of of Chiringuito's to get a drink or snack.

great holiday in a lovely sunny apartment a car is not a must but it is a 35-40 minutes walk to torrox costa on a busy road ,torrox pueblo well worth a visit and nerja only 10 minutes away by car also frigiliania well worth a visit 10minutes from nerja the apartment in a nice neighbourhood maybe worth brushing up on your spanish language as not every bar/restaraunt

speak english but well worth a visit

A real home from home. Fantastic apartment.

We have stayed at this apartment many times over the last few years - it is our home from home in Spain!

We love the apartment & this part of Spain.

The apartment is clean, comfy & well maintained & the English owner has provided everything you need for your holiday, including a washing machine & a digital safe.

The large terrace with it's view over the gardens to the sea is great for an afternoon siesta on the sunbeds provided or enjoying a glass or 2 of wine in the evening!

There is a large communal pool & separate kiddies pool in a landscaped garden with plenty of sunbeds that can be moved under the trees or sun parasols to provide some welcome shelter from the hot summer sun!

The apartment is located on a regular bus route so you don't necessarily need a car although it is a short but steep walk up to the apartment from the beach.

It's approx 40 minutes drive from Malaga airport & about 10 minutes drive from Nerja & its attractions such as the caves & the Balcon de Europe.

There's no shortage of restaurants, bars etc within easy reach of the apartment plus shops, supermarkets(including Lidl, Aldi), chemists, banks & a weekly market etc in nearbyTorrox Costa.

Our favourite restaurant, La Farola is in El Morche which is just a 10 minute drive away, through Torrox Costa. We highly recommend the lamb! But be advised that is gets very busy in the Summer!

The apartment is also ideally located to visit the traditional white washed mountain villages such as Torrox, Competa etc.

We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this apartment to friends & family - it gets a thumbs up from us!

The nearest beach is a 5 minute walk away, and is never crowded. The excellent, well ordered and peaceful beach of Torrox Costa is a four minute drive away, stretching for 2/3 mile, backed by a promenade with numerous cafes, restaurants and bars. Within a ten minute drive are four beautiful beaches in Nerja, including Burriana beach.


The nearest airport, Malaga, is a 45 minute drive away. A bus service is available at surprisingly cheap fares.

Car hire is highly recommended, although a basic bus service operates from the apartment locality to surrounding towns and beaches.


Torrox Costa is 2 kilometers, Nerja, 5k. The famous Caves of Nerja are just beyond the town at 6 kilometers. Lake Vinuela is 45k distance, while the picturesque village of Frigiliana is 11k. Granada can be reached in 1 hour and a 1/4 now that the new coast motorway is nearing completion.

Further Details:

A short drive away from the coast leads to some stunningly pretty villages, brilliant with their whitewashed walls. The nearest is Frigiliana which is well worth a visit. Just outside Nerja are the Caves. These are truly astounding, natural phenomena; 'cathedral-like' doesn't really do them justice; orchestral concerts are often performed inside. The 'Balcon de Europe' in Nerja is a wonderful pedestrian area built high over the rocks at the southern end of the town. Here you can stroll among a fascinating mixture of entertainers including portrait artists, Spanish dancers, musicians etc. and enjoy the wonderful Mediterranean evening atmosphere of this unspoilt town. Alone amongst the tourist developments of the Costa del Sol, Nerja is probably unique in having retained its original Spanish identity during its growth from a fishing village to the attractive and fascinating town it is today. Nightlife in Nerja is colourful and vibrant, but still there is a warm, safe, well ordered atmosphere

about the town at all times of the day and night.
