Villa in Albufeira, Central Algarve, Portugal - In A Superb Position For The Beach, Famous Strip And Old Town Of Albuferia
After many holidays on the Algarve my wife and I decided to purchase a property for our regular family holidays. We decided that this location (Areias De S.Joao) was perfect for our family needs and decided to purchase one on the development. The property one of seventeen was completed in 2006 and is a luxury cluster villa, with all mod cons. Access via automatic control security gates. Ideal location for beach lovers and golfers alike. Quiet area enabling a good nights sleep but within walking distance for both 'The Strip' and 'The Old Town of Albufeira'. Here you will find a vast array of quality restaurants suitable for all budgets. The 3 principle golf courses in Albufeira are Salagados Golf Course, Pine Cliffes and Balaia Golf Village - not to mention Vilamoura which is only a short drive away.

Enjoyable stay at this property
The property is well designed well situated, clean and well looked after with everything required for an enjoyable relaxing and pleasant stay
Highly recommended. Stayed here with friends in May. Very well equipped property. Tastefully decorated. Spacious rooms. Two large balconies on 1st floor and patio area facing the pool. Some nice restaurants within easy walking distance (5-10 mins). Close to a stop for the tourist 'train' which stops at the top of the old town and the strip.
ANOTHER GREAT STAY
Have stayed in several villas on this complex after visiting this area for many years and have stayed twice in this one with another visit booked as we feel this one is by far the best in terms of position, décor and most importantly cleanliness !! Owner Neil always responds to correspondence and answers all queries promptly.
There are several bars, small supermarkets (much lager one on main road) and eateries within 5 mins walk of the property and the lively "stripe" a flat 10 mins walk and in opposite direction is Albufeira a not so flat 20 mins walk but very doable, there is a tourist road train that stops very close to the property and takes you around resort regularly and a taxi to and from main town is only 4-5 Euro.

We have stayed in 3 diffferent villas on this complex and this one twice with a third stay booked is by far the best in terms of position,decor and most inportently cleanleness, the complex is well positioned in a quiet area but with some local bars/restuarants only minutes away or the busy "stripe" about 10 mins walk or the old town about 20 mins walk away
The house is extremely well maintained. Perfect location for beach, short walk to old town (small hill back but very doable). Great restaurant called Tres Palmeiras nearby. The house overlooks the pool which is really clean. Everything you need is in the house, lounges, bar-b-q, towels. We had a wonderful week here with friends.
A couple of small things, ask for 2 sets of keys if more than 1 couple and the large gate does not work which means you have to park the car in the road.
We would love to return.

5 minutes walk to beach.
You will fly to Faro airport. Taxis available at airport or can be pre booked on the internet. Car not necessary.
Local restaurants, bars, beaches all within walking distance. 5 minutes walk to the famous 'strip' and 10 minutes walk along the beach or 20 minutes walk along the road to the Old town of Albuferia. Great bus service.
