Apartment in Los Cristianos, Tenerife - Los Diamantes Is A small private complex and the apartment is ground floor

1 bedroom ground floor apartment in a well-maintained, quiet, low rise complex. Very large terrace with patio table, chairs, sun loungers and a small garden. Situated about 15 minutes from a sandy beach, old town centre, shops and harbour. Taxi rank and tour collection point close by. The complex has its own community pool with sun loungers and parasols. A new shopping centre and numerous new restaurants and bars have recently opened in this developing area. Approximately 20 minutes from Tenerife South airport.

About Mike & Mary O'Brien

Mary and Mike O'Brien. We live in SE Ireland with our rescued semi-labrador, Daisy. Our kids are reared, gone and married. (seven grandchildren - so far.) We're retired - sort of - but love to travel, especially to our apartment in Tenerife.

We bought our one-bed apartment in Los Cristianos about 12 years ago because we love the area, which is quiet but yet near to all facilities and services. The small complex has its own pool and the facilities of the 2 adjoining complexes are also freely available.There are beautiful beaches and a wide range of bars and restaurants. The area is easily accessible, with the airport just 15 minutes away.

We're about 15 minutes from the beach, marina and old town. Golf, waterpark and many other activities nearby.

A new shopping centre has opened nearby.

Clean, tidy, sun trap on patio and quiet

Great apartment, clean and tidy, TV with UK channels, fully functional kitchen inc. microwave and all utensils. nice and quiet too. Supermarket a stones throw away. local bars, restaurants and taxi rank within walking distance. Sea about a 15 min stroll down hill. You have to walk up a steep short hill on the way back and my dad found this hard work, but on the plus side it's only 4 euro in a taxi from the centre (5 minute drive). You can also walk to and from the bus station (10 min walk). Which was a plus as it's only 3.20 euro instead of the 20/25 euro in a taxi. We stayed for 2 weeks and after 7 days the bedding and towels were changed which was a surprise plus. Communication with the owners was great and we had no problems at all.

A lovely appartment with large rooms. There is everything you need and the best being your own sunbeds, excellent resturants, one next door and the taurus restuarant just up the road with great entertainment, both being very reasonable price. The owners give you all the information you need but the only thing i would suggest is to bring good walking shoes with you as it's a bit of a climb back from the sea.
