Large apartment with wonderful views. The rooms are clean and fresh and the kitchen and bathroom have been renovated. The covered terrace is perfect for relaxing and dining, with views of the bay of Pollensa, the peninsular of Victoria in the distance and the Tramuntana Mountains that provide the wonderful back drop to Puerto Pollensa. Perfect for the various walks from the apartment into the mountains, if you wish to experience the natural and untouched side of Mallorca. This is an ideal apartment for a family or a couple. The area of Gotmar in Puerto Pollensa is popular with locals and visitors alike, being both quiet, close to the beach and an enjoyable stroll along the sea front to Puerto Pollensa town center.

Great value appartment

Great apartment with plenty of room for a small family. The owner is a lovely woman who made everything so simple & easy.

The location is great. With sea and mountain views from the balcony, you are only a 3 min stroll to the beach and 10 min to the town centre. There are shops and restaurants on the way to the beach, but the better eateries are in town.

The apartment is on the 3rd floor, so there are steps to climb.

It was very clean, with everything you'll need, well appointed and comfortable. Easy to find and parking right on the doorstep.

Whilst the local beach is & town are great, if you have wheels head to Cala Formentor for a really fabulous beach day, or Pollensa for a relaxing day in a beautiful little town.

We'd go back any time!

Perfect Apartment

This apartment with the pool was lovely, shops around the corner and two lovely restaurants one that sells the best chicken you will taste. The beach is a short 10 min walk and the main street to the centre is about 10 min further. Lots of bars and very good restaurants and market days. The buses run very frequently to other towns and are very reasonably priced. The apartment was very well stocked with everything you will possibly need and run by a very helpful lady who greeted us on arrival even though it was late on. 5 *****

Location

From the Owner

The size of the rooms, the open aspect and the views were my reason for buying the apartment. The rooms are light, the terrace is big enough to sit and relax and to eat around a full size table. Also it is so close to the beach, less than 3 mins walk. Gotmar is one of the better areas in Pto Pollensa and the apartment is really close to the best section of beach in Pto Pollensa.

Activity and Interests

Nearest Airport : Palma de Mallorca at 58 Kilometres Nearest Beach : Pto Pollensa at 300 Metres Car: recommended

Special interest holidays:

Only 2 mins walk to the beach

15 mins stroll to the centre of Pto Pollensa along the sea front,

10 mins by car to the old towns of Pollensa and Alcudia and 15 mins to the port and resort of Alcudia.

The Albafera national park is 20 mins away by car.

Walkers will love this area as there are a wealth of easy and difficult walks some direct from the apartment and some a short drive away. Cycling in this area is very popular in the shoulder seasons.

Coast/Beach:

Mins walk to the large sandy beach. This is a good beach for children as the water remains shallow for quite some time. There is no tide or waves as the bay of Pollensa is sheltered.

Travel:

Palma airport is approx 40 mins drive from the apartment and it is a simple and easy journey with dual carriageway most of the way.

Distances:

5-10 min drive to the old towns of Pollensa and Alcudia

10-15 mins drive to the Port of Alcudia and

30 mins to Artà and the Lluc monastery.

Further Details:

Around the corner from the apartment are supermarkets and restaurants which are passed as you walk to the beach. Also the largest supermarket in Pto Pollensa is at the end of the road in the opposite direction to the beach.

Capella is light and has good sized rooms. The best thing about it however is the fact that the land opposite can not be built on and at the moment is used for grazing chickens. The open aspect keeps the apartment private and provides open views to the sea and mountains.

Other: The balcony is the length of the apartment and has wonderful open views. There is a dining table and chairs for eating "alFresco", or just sit and soak up the atmosphere while enjoying the view.
