Villa in Puerto Addaya, Menorca - Peaceful Location, Set Above The Marina

Set in a quiet residential area, this spacious and tastefully furnished villa offers privacy, charm and tranquility for the perfect family holiday. At the center of the village - a short stroll from the villa - is a selection of bars, restaurants and shops. 5 minutes drive to the nearest sandy beach, 10 minutes to the local golf course and 25 minutes drive to Mahon, the island's capital.

The villa has it's own private pool (approx 4 x 3 metres) and plenty of outdoor furniture for sunbathing and relaxing by the pool. There is also an al fresco dining area, adjacent to a purpose-built brick BBQ.

About Jo Kentish

No 39 became my home from home approximately 10 years ago and offers an escape from the hustle and bustle of a busy working life, whilst maintaining the freedom and familiarity of feeling like 'home'. Many of our clients return year after year for the very same reasons!

My favourite time at the villa is the evening, sipping a glass of wine with friends, while the meat cooks on the bbq! The day time isn't too shabby either, lounging by the pool, with a good book and taking the occasional dip in the pool when it all gets a bit too hot!

Why Jo Kentish chose Minorca (Menorca)

No 39 is set above the marina on a peaceful, well established, residential road. All of the houses are privately owned and many of the residents live there all year round. There is nothing more lovely than sitting at the al fresco dining table in the evening with a glass of wine, listening to the crickets and enjoying the silence!

Addaya is on the north side of the island, within easy reach of the capital, Mahon (20 minutes drive) plus the golf course (10 minutes drive) and lovely sandy beaches (5 minutes drive). A five minute stroll brings you to the centre of the village, where there are a selection of shops, bars and restaurants.

This is a perfect spot for families - the large garden and private pool offer plenty of space to sunbath, take a dip, or simply read your favourite book!

Outside: Outside there is a well established private garden with it's own swimming pool (approx 6m x 4m), built-in BBQ and al fresco dining table. There is also a poolside shower, boule court and a terrace area where you can sunbath or relax under the shade of the gazebo. Utility Room: Separate utility room with washing machine, dryer, sink and hanging area. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: The villa is thoroughly cleaned and prepared for your arrival and all linen and bath towels are provided. Bed linen is changed weekly. Swimming towels are also provided for use by the pool. Other: Garage, with internal access, provides plenty of space for storing empty suitcases and beach accessories.

Very nice villa and lovely pool. Well equiped with sky TV

Staying end of August, the weather was great. The location of the villa is close to the local supermarket and nice restaurants. We enjoyed our morning walk for croissants. We hired a car to explore the local beaches, we can certainly recommend the beach at Son Park. It's probably our favorite.

Great quality family in perfect location. good specification and well equipped with all the kit you need. lovely pool and garden. air conditioned bedrooms ensure a good nights sleep in the sunmer heat. Addaia is a hidden gem on the north coast but handy for great beaches and restaurants. The owner is great with good communication. Will book again !

Beautiful villa in a peaceful Menorcan village.

This is the second time we have stayed in Ca Na Joanne and we weren't disappointed. Clean, well equipped and, with the added bonus of wifi, everybody had a marvellous holiday. The light and airy villa has amazing views and is only 5 minutes drive from the sparkling waters of Arenel de Castell. Many a happy hour spent round the pool after a morning out . Best bits this year a great evening at the night market in Alaoir ( only 10 minute drive away) , a fantastic boat trip out of Cala Galdana with Nano onboard the Menorca en Barco , and kayaking in Es Grau with its crystal clear waters. And what better place to return to after each excursion but the best villa in Addai ! We hope to be back again !

Nice, comfortable house with air con in bedrooms, a welcome relief from the high heat.

Good, peaceful location near a little harbour with pleasant bar and boat rides (Raffa's Boats - good value).

Best restaurant - La Paella in nearby Aranel, a few minutes drive. Nearby ones fine. Conscientious couple on hand to help with any house issues or queries. Good wi-fi.

You will have a pleasant stay there.

Lovely VIlla

Lovely villa with a homely feel to it, spotlessly clean and extremely well equipped on arrival. The photo's don't do it justice particularly the garden area which sees sun all day long. Set in a very quiet unspoilt village 5 minutes walk to supermarket, 4 restaurants (Tapas bar is yummy) and the harbour. Lorna was a joy to deal with giving a same day response to every communication. To sum up if you are looking for a relaxing quiet holiday you cannot go wrong with No39. The biggest endorsement is we will return.

Great Family Villa!

A lovely villa, perfectly described on the website. Excellent accommodation for families. Port Addaia is quiet, but with good watersports facilities at the harbour. We would definitely recommend this villa to a friend or relative who is looking for a relaxed holiday in a peaceful environment. We used our hire car extensively to travel to beaches and local towns, but it was lovely to return to the tranquility of the villa. Local supermarket within walking distance was very useful.
