Villa in Begur, Costa Brava, Spain - Beautiful Views Of Pine Covered Hills
Lovely traditional Catalan villa with 3 double bedrooms and a bright airy interior. This charming property is mostly furnished in old oak adding to the simple yet tasteful and comfortable feel of the villa which is lovingly maintained and comes with wifi connection. French windows lead onto a covered terrace with open views of rolling hills. The villa stands in a large plot of more than 900 sq.m. with a delightful garden over 2 terraces which is south facing providing sun all day. The stay was wonderful and so was the house. We had a very pleasant time. Both me and my wife thought the house could not have been better. It was just what we wanted. KT
We had a great time at your place, we enjoyed it a lot, and we would love to come back at another time. CA

Had a wonderful holiday
My family of six (Kids: 8-13) stayed in this Villla for two weeks and had a fantastic holiday There are a number of beaches mentioned on the site, but in reality the coast is dotted with fantastic beaches. It was great to have access to beach equipment in the house: umbrella's, rackets, a rubber dingy, etc. Within a relatively short drive there are a number of historic towns that are worth visiting. We tended to eat our meals on the terrace, which was elevated and relative cool on warm days. Mark provides excellent suggestions ahead of the trip and in his guest book, which is great, if you've never been to this area before. Kids loved on the river ter.
Las Palmeras holiday
We had a lovely time at Las Palmeras! The house is in a nice quiet area within walking distance of a large supermarket and with easy access to the pretty and lively village of Begur and all the amazing beaches and coves in the area. If you go to Begur, check El Tapas de Begur for great food!
The house is comfortable and the owners very helpful. We really enjoyed the garden. It is great for reading under the trees or sunbathing and playing outdoor games.
The large terrace is also great for enjoying outdoor dinning and watching the stars in the evening.
Thoroughly recommend it. We will be back!
The outset of our trip didn't start too well. We missed our plane. I called Mark (owner of the villa) who was able to be both supportive and offer practical advice. We arrived at night. The villa was beautiful and had everything we needed. That night we sat on the veranda of the villa and drank red wine soaking up the dark peaceful night. The beds were very comfortable and in the morning we were delighted when we saw the beautiful views from the villa. The garden is on two terraces and provided great spots for our resident artist to take up position and sketch and paint. The town of Begur is in a beautiful position and at the top of the town the views are amazing. Lovely little bars and cafes to eat, drink and be merry. We found the owner Mark to be readily available to any queries we had and always replied to my texts as soon as he could. If you want relaxation and comfort I would definitely recommend this villa. We hope to return next year.
Can only recommend this villa and area
The area is amazing - Lots of stunning beaches and clear snorkelling water, restaurants a plenty in the town and near by. The villa was clean and tidy and had a lovely evening view of the pines . The near
Fantastic place, great holiday
We had a fantastic holiday. The villa was great, lovely garden which the kids enjoyed playing in, and we enjoyed relaxing on the terrace every evening.
Being so close to so many great beaches was perfect and we visited at least four (although there are plenty more). Tamariu was our fave, with it's diving board and lovely cafes. Enjoyed the nearby waterpark as well.
We don't normally revisit the same place when we go on holiday but we loved this place so we might be booking with you again.
We had a great week staying at the house in spring. The house is really comfortable and well thought out with all the things you would need for your stay. We loved sitting out on the shaded terrace and the garden is really pretty and large. As the house faces south you get the sun all day and it is in a nice quiet spot. There is also a little supermarket nearby which has great fresh fish, butcher and wine as well as a bakery. We loved getting fresh warm baguettes from there for lunch. You really need a car to enjoy this part of Spain as there are so many beautiful beaches to see and the town of Begur itself is just lovely. Recommended.
