Lovely apartment on the Côte d'Azur close to restaurants, beaches and local market (5 mins)

Our sunny apartment is comfortable & well maintained in typical French style with air conditioning throughout.

It comprises one main bedroom; a cabin area with bunk beds; a fully equipped kitchen; bathroom with bath & power shower; a separate toilet; lounge/dining room with balcony that seats 4-6 with stunning views overlooking the port.

The large balcony overlooking the port has the sun on it until lunch time - a perfect sun trap for sunbathing!

The lounge is spacious and tastefully furnished with two sofas - one which is a sofa bed and sleeps two comfortably. There is also a TV, with English channels, a DVD player; radio / CD player and iPod dock. We recommend the local English radio station Rivera Radio for the Cote D'Azur!

The flat is a two minute walk from Antibes train station with direct access to Cannes (10 mins) Monaco (45 mins) and Nice (15mins) and a short walk (5 minutes) to the centre of Antibes. There are also restaurants a two minute walk from the apartment and of course the wonderful view of the famous Port Vauban. There are beaches in Antibes (local - Salis and private - Royal) as well as a multitude of beaches in Juan Les Pins (10 minute bus/ car/ 2 mins train) Nice, Cannes as well as the infamous La Groupe beaches near the very prestigious Hotel Du Cap where many stay for the Cannes Film Festival, which you can get to by boat, including Elizabeth Taylor, Tom Cruise, Bruce Willis, Paris Hilton, Johnny Depp, Tim Burton and Karl Lagerfeld, to name a few...

We are also wheel chair friendly.

Hi Ali and Jan, wanted to say thanks very much for letting us use your apartment. We had a wonderful time the location was ideal. The views of the yachts was fantastic and envy making! Wanted to say a big thank you for letting us stay in your apartment! We had a fantastic time in Antibes, the town is beautiful and we really enjoyed wandering round the market and shops. The apartment is perfect - great location and gorgeous view of the port. We went to Monaco on the train, it was amazing looking at all the posh boats and cars, we even went to the casino! We arranged a trip around the little villages in the hills a guide picked us up and took us to Biot, Grasse, St paul de Vence and Tourret sur loup, it was an amazing day. We were very sorry to leave, a week was not long enough! hopefully we'll be back again soon.

Great location with easy access to lots of beaches, hotels and night life.

Love the old town of Antibes with everything you need in a 10 min walk.

The balcony is great, lovely sunsets and view of the huge boats!!

Short stay break with friends

Fabulous location short walking distance to the bubbling hub of Antibes. The apartment itself has everything you could possibly need and very comfortable, with stunning views over to the harbor. Couldn't of asked for anything else a very memorable enjoyable break I look forward to returning very soon I hope!

Perfectly located and proportioned apartment

Three of us stayed in the apartment for 5 days. It was easy to find from the station and access was great. After the hustle and bustle of the journey it was a delight to find a welcoming and comfortable apartment waiting for us. The view from the balcony over the marina was delightful. The facilities were just what you need for a great break. The apartment was ideally situated a short walk from the shops and centre of Antibes. I can't wait to go back for more.

A lovely apartment in a beautiful location.

The flat is in a great location right next to the harbour and a short walk to Antibes town. It is bright and has air conditioning in the bedroom which makes even the hottest summers comfortable. I loved waking up to the sound of the yacht rigging gently clinking on the masts. A great place and I will definitely be returning.

Sunny French style apartment

Lovely spacious apartment with a sunny balcony we enjoyed looking out at the marina . Comfortable bed and ample kitchen area although we are out most days as near to the wonderful old town of Antibes . Hopefully we will be back again soon !

Fantastic location

The apartment is in a fantastic location just a short walk from the railway station and the balcony overlooks the marina. There is a sandy beach within walking distance and some superb restaurants- we tried them all and went back to our favourites. The wonderful market is nearby where we ate mussels one evening at a highly recommended restaurant. The railway is great for getting about along the coast- we stayed 3 weeks and with a taxi recommended by Ali from the airport, we didn't need a car. There are some local shops as well. We had a truly wonderful holiday and the balcony is great for relaxing.

We fell in love with the beautiful Old town of Antibes the first time we visited It is such a gorgeous unspoilt town on the coast and on one of the most impressive marinas we have ever seen. Our apartment is just a short walk to the wonderful town which hosts fantastic restaurants and bars markets and local shops. The sea views and the yacht marina are what make it for us. There are classy polished bars and beach clubs yet also more relaxed local seaside places we equally love. We adore all the stunning beaches along the coast from Cap D Antibes , Cannes to Monaco our nearest within a 10 minute walk or a 3 minute train to the fabulous Juan les Pins its such a gateway to the rest of stunning Cote d'Azur and also the near by towns slightly in land St Paul De Vence and Valbonne whats not to love!

In the heart of a very historic part of the Cote D'Azur, combined with a vast array of lovely beaches, great restaurants and cafes, with very easy access to public transport or plenty of wonderful walks.

Coast/Beach:

The apartment faces the famous marina with its Vast Mega Yachts and small fishing boats, and is just a short walk from the local beach. The beach has showers -but no sunbeds, we take the small fold up chairs Very light to carry) and mats.

There is a very friendly mobile cafe which sells all drinks, wine, ice cream, pannis, salads and fries etc. There is also a toilet nearby. For beaches with sunloungers and waiter service we go to Juan les pins or Cannes or catch the bus up to the Garoupe beaches on the Cap.

Travel:

Antibes is ideally situated for exploring the Côte d'Azur, Provence and the Alps Maritime being midway between Nice and Cannes. The train and bus stations' are less than a 5 minute walk from the apartment. There are also buses regularly to nearby towns such as Biot, Cap D'Antibes, Juan les pins, Grasse etc. Nice airport is about 20 mins by car. We use a local English taxi firm.-we include number in details with bookings.

Distances:

Juan les pins is 5 minutes by car or a 3 minute train ride. We walk it in 30 mins.It is great for beaches and shopping - a must for your visit! Cannes is also nearby only 5 mins by train or 15 by bus and also offers a wealth of shops, culture and more beautiful beaches. Details of buses and trains can all be found in the apartment. The principality of Monoco (45 mins by train) and St Tropez which is a short boat ride from Juan les Pins.

Further Details:

The apartment is a few minutes walk from a supermarket and a little further to bars, shops and restaurants in old town Antibes, including the wonderful daily market, The Marche provencal. There are a number of internet places in Antibes the nearest one is just a few minutes walk on Avenue St roch-which can be found on map which we send to you. Or just before the Blue Lady pub!

Internet access is available at Malouna restaurant just next to us where by once you have accessed their code it usually works in the apartment- please ask us for details.

  • Notes on accommodation: There is also newly installed air-conditioning throughout and also heating for the winter. Outside: Beach furniture includes deckchairs, parasols and balls are available for use during your stay (under the bunk bed). There is a private courtyard for the apartment building. Small table for dining plus 4 chairs on the balcony. Utility Room: Utility cupboard clothes rack for drying. Brush, mop and cleaning products are there if required and there is a cleaner every week. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Cleaning and a double set of linen and bath/hand towels is included in the price, a charge of £25 per extra guest after that. Please bring your own beach towels. Other: Hairdryer is kept under the sink in the bathroom.
