A lovely first floor 2 bedroom French Alps apartment, located just 100m from the historic town centre of Samoens. The apartment is situated in the Jardin Des Neiges building which is a stone's throw away from the town centre yet secluded enough to benefit from peace and tranquility. The apartment has Wifi and sleeps 4-6 people. Being family owned the apartment has been carefully equipped to suit families with small children and also older children. The apartment has been furnished to a high specification including a flat screen TV, DVD with films for all ages, ipod docking station, books and games for all ages too.

About Debbie Miller

Hi. We are two families that have been friends now for 12 years having met at ante-natal classes. We decided some time ago that we wanted a holiday home and made several trips out to the Alps before finding our ideal property. We all love the mountains and enjoy the outdoor life. We first visited Samoens on a very wet and miserable day. We loved it, so knew on a perfect sunny day it would be glorious. It's our second home and we hope you love it as much as we do.

Why Debbie Miller chose Flaine - Grand Massif

We were thinking of buying in Les Gets, but our cousin, who lives in Les Gets said he wished he had bought in Samoens. So we decided to take a look. On the day we visited, it was raining and quite cold, but we knew if we liked Samoens then, we would love it when the sun shone. And we do! We both have small children and wanted our apartment to be very child friendly to make holidaying as easy as possible for the parents. We love the fact the Samoens is a 'proper town' and not just a ski resort. It is open all year and our children love visiting the weekly market.

What makes this apartment unique

Our Apartment is so close to the town, that even on the worst snowy night, you can walk to a restaurant without getting too cold. It is within walking distance to the Grand Massif Express Gondola, even in ski boots, or for the easier option, there is always the ski bus. The balcony is perfect on a lovely evening to sit out with a Gin and Tonic and watch the sunset behind the mountain. We have included lots of games, books, plastic plates, beakers and cutlery with small children in mind. For the bigger ones, the PlayStation, satellite TV and DVD go down very well. For us, it is home from home and so far, all our guests say the same.

The location of the apartment is so convenient, 2 minutes walk to the bus stop and village. Skiing excellent, locals are very friendly and you can get all you need in 1 centre. Definately will go back Jan 13

We had a brilliant time, snow was superb and the apartment was very comfortable. We would have no hesitation in returning or recommending this property. The skiing is suitable for all levels of skier with plenty of off-piste and the pistes are lovely wide motorways. There are some lovely and reasonably priced restaurants. Feb 12

We loved this flat- it was a real home from home. But it had the advantage of a view of the Ski lift -not something we enjoy here in Herefordshire!! It was quiet and peaceful, but only a few minutes walk from the beautiful Market square and plentiful shops and bars. With a ski bus stop only a minute away,

Notes on accommodation: Numerous DVDs, CDs, books, games and Playstation 2 games are provided for your entertainment. Outside: A larger than average south facing balcony with magnificent mountain views with outdoor furniture. Utility Room: Ski locker provided. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: The price is inclusive of the provision of quality linen and towels with beds made up prior to arrival. All utility bills, ski hire discounts available for booking with us. Final clean, however, the apartment must be left clean and tidy. Other: Numerous coat hooks and additional storage space can be found in the entrance hall along with a safety deposit box. There is a small private garage, ideal for mountain bikes and other equipment, a secure ski locker and outside parking space.

A fabulous apartment in stunning Samoens

The apartment is acurately described as in the online listing and I found it to be spotlessly clean, well maintained and very well equipped with everything we could possibly have needed for our stay, e.g washing machine, dishwasher, fridge, oven, stove, crockery, glassware, flatscreen TV/DVD player, DVD'S, ipod dock/speakers and patio table and chairs. Beds were comfortable and the towels and bedding was nice. The shower was reliable and powerful and quite spacious. Two toilets was a bonus. The apartment is in a smart modern apartment block and the location is excellent. Only a minutes walk to the town square and less than ten minutes walk to the ski lift. The view from the apartment balcony, living room and master bedroom is lovely of trees and gardens with the mountains beyond. I would not hesitate in recommending this very reasonably priced and good value property and indeed I have already booked my next trip.
