Penthouse Apartment in Kapparis. Great Location, 5 Minutes Walk to the Beach

This luxury penthouse apartment is situated in the increasingly popular area of Kapparis. Covering the entire top floor, it is the only detached penthouse in this recently completed complex. It benefits from above average size and a large private balcony on either side of the building, one overlooking the landscaped pool area and one facing the sea. The local restaurants and amenities are only a 2 minute walk away and the lovely local beach with it's crystal clear water is only 5 minutes further. The popular family resort of Proteras with it's vast array of bars, restaurants and water sports on the wide sandy beaches - including the famous Fig Tree Bay - is only a 10 minute drive. For those who prefer things a little more lively then Ayia Napa with it's enormous waterpark, stunning Nissi Beach and bustling nightlife is only 15 minutes by car/taxi.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in your apartment. It was every bit as spacious as you said, and furnished beautifully. Lounge and bedrooms great, with plenty of storage. Everything we needed for self catering. The pool area is well equipped with plenty of sun beds and lovely clean water, all in nicely laid out gardens. Plenty of lovely restaurants close by, lots of variety. The little coves and beaches are great as well. Very picturesque. It’s a lovely place to stay. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone.

Apt has every thing you need very clean ,there is a warm welcome from Jill who will give you the keys and take around the apt.you can walk to some of the beaches that are about 10mins away.Local shops that sell every thing.Pleanty of restaurants and local tavernas food is very good.

If you want the night life a local bus runs till 4 in the morning it will only cost 1euro each way [it did when were there]

We had a great time .

Blue Electra Penthouse Apartment

The property was clean, well maintained, well equipped and had all the necessary mod-cons. Aircon in bedrooms and living room\kitchen kept the heat at bay :-)

The pool and pool area were well maintained and never overly busy. Perfect for chilling out. The property manager was always quick to respond on the few occasions we needed any assistance.

The local area was fine for dining out, shopping and beaches within walking distance. A greater choice was always only 10-15 mins away in Paralimnni, Protaras or Ania Napa for the more touristy offerings!

This is a perfect property and location for those who generally prefer the quieter holiday with enough local amenities but still take comfort in the knowledge that the madness of the resorts and parks are only a 10-15 minute drive away.

Location

We love this area because it's really up and coming. New restaurants and bars have sprung up every time we visit. With the beech only 5 minutes walk away, the supermarket 3 minutes and our favourite restaurant only 1 minute away, it's just so easy to have a good time. Even though there is plenty to do in the area, we love the fact that Kapparis has also retained it's rural charm. Water melons and tomatoes grow in numerous fields in the area.

Nearest Airport : Larnaca at 65 Kilometres Nearest Barpub : Faliros at 0.1 Kilometres Nearest Restaurant : Faliros at 0.1 Kilometres Nearest Beach : Fireman's Bay at 0.2 Kilometres

Coast/Beach:

The nearest beach and the warm clear water of the Mediterranean is only a 5-7 minute stroll away. Fireman's beach is a lovely sandy bay with sunbeds and umbrellas available. A coastal path will lead you to many more secluded coves if you desire more privacy. Head the other way and you will reach Blue Water Bay, Ayia Triada and then Fig Tree Bay. A short drive past Proteras will bring you to the national park of Cape Greko with it's fascinating sea caves and the beautiful Konnos Bay.

Travel:

The apartment is just 45 minutes (65km) by car or taxi from the airport at Larnaca. We can arrange to have you picked-up from the airport or have a hire-car waiting for you. Car hire rates on the island are very reasonable, making this the best way to explore all that Cyprus has to offer. There is another airport in Pafos on the other side of the island and although it is over 2 hours away by car, it is worth considering as a route in and out of the country, as it sometimes has cheaper flights.

Distances:

Larnaca Airport - 65km. Paralimni 2km - large town with supermarkets and department stores. Proteras 4km - beaches/amusements/water sports. Ayia Napa 15km - beaches/restaurants/waterpark/nightlife. Closest beach - 500m. Local amenities/public transport - 100m.

Further Details:

The apartment is in a quiet side street 100 meters from Kennedy Avenue, the main road in Kapparis. Along this road are numerous restaurants, bars, shops, mini-markets and car and scooter hire. There is also a 24 hour bakery a few minutes away. Banks can be found 2kms away in Paralimni. Local currency (euros) can be drawn from cash machines but it is advisable to bring local currency with you which can be obtained at the airport. You can exchange travellers cheques at most hotels. Sorry, no smoking or pets in the apartment.

Kapparis really does offer the best of both worlds. A peaceful, relaxed, rural charm, and also a well developed infrastructure with plenty to do. Great access to beeches, supermarkets, bars and restaurants. Our property is enormous. 96m2 It covers the entire top floor of a detached block and has a very square and open design rather than the usual long and narrow style which is much more common. It also benefits from a balcony on both sides of the building. That means you always have the choice of sun or shade. The apartment's location is fantastic. One block from the main road (so no noise) but still very close to the best restaurants and bars, and virtually opposite the path to the beech. The local transport is excellent too. 1 Euro on the bus to Paralimni or Proteras.

Outside: A table and chairs is supplied for alfresco dining/sunbathing on either of the balconies. There is a communal pool with a paddling area designed for children. Outdoor shower and toilet facilities are situated adjacent to the pool. Utility Room: Contains two oak finished fitted units. One conceals the washing machine, the other contains the iron/ironing board etc. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: The property will be thoroughly cleaned before your arrival and fresh bed linen and towels for use in the apartment will be provided.
