This is the "Beautiful Sunrise" view from our balcony.!! The apartment is a large and spacious top floor penthouse studio apartment situated directly on La Cala beach.

The scenery therefore is beautiful and stunning with Panoramic Beach, Sea and Mountain views.. It’s private and beautiful pool/garden area has direct access to the beach!! This apartment is clean, homely and comfortable and adequately accommodates 2 to 3 people.The apartment has also been a family holiday home for the past 28 years and not just a basic rental property! There's a small supermarket and restaurant a few yards from the apartment. The beach restaurants are also very reasonable and offer local catches of the day! La Cala Golf Club is also close by and the town offers a wide variety of shops and restaurants. The picturesque town of La Cala is also conveniently placed to visit other areas on the Costa del Sol, should you have your own transport. Alternatively, there are regular buses running along most of the coast or if you are looking to just chill out! This is the perfect venue!

Relaxing wonderful sea view

After many visits to La calla, must say this was the best apartment we have stayed at. Wonderful views, very clean, with everything you need, The beach is just at the bottom of the garden with the pool which is very well maintained. Excellent restaurants on the door step. Local markets twice a week, WOULD RECOMMEND THIS APARTMENT.

So relaxing.

We keep going back to Fran's apartment as it is one of the better ones in La Cala. In the heat of August the air conditioning kept us cool. We enjoyed the many local restaurants and cafes and after a year of hard work it really was the perfect place to relax, with everything close at hand, whilst still not being commercialised. Recommend to anyone, and especially to those who don't know the area already. Can't wait to return.

Beautiful, clean, well-kept apartment with lovely views

The apartment itself was great & had everything we needed & the location perfect; the pool was in the garden & the beach was literally at the bottom of the garden; great for walking, swimming or sunbathing & a boardwalk leading to next resort or to the many restaurants, shops & market stalls. Mijas has layers to it & we enjoyed exploring it. Local buses are regular & inexpensive & we visited Marbella & Fuengirola. There is a certain charm about Mijas & I will definitely return!

Fab!

This lovely apartment has it all - views over the Med, on the beach with a pool surrounded by well-kept pretty gardens. It is light and airy, well equipped and very clean and comfortable (slept really well!) - the air-con is very welcome! If you want to cook at home and sit on the balcony overlooking the sea or go out there are loads of good restaurants within a short walk – we’ve been to most! We’ve had yet another great holiday in your lovely apartment and can’t wait to return. Thank you!

Top class apartment.

Enjoyed a lovely stay at Fran's lovely apartment. It is by far superior to any other apartments I have stayed at in the area and it shows also how much she cares for her guests. It felt like home. Everything worked fantastically and the built in air con worked a treat. La Cala and surrounding area is just one of the best places to be. I would highly recommend and it was so perfect I'm going back for a longer stay in August again. Thanks Fran, so glad we've found the perfect place to stay when in La Cala now.

Nearest Golf : La Cala golf course at 1 Kilometres Car: not necessary

Coast/Beach:

The blue flag awarded beach is a walk through the garden/pool area via a private gate. Here you will also find the beach restaurant, where they serve a variety of sea food and locally caught sardines, which they barbeque on the beach.

Travel:

Malaga airport is approximately a 20 minute taxi ride away. Car hire is available either from Malaga airport and can be arranged prior to arrival, or within La Cala itself.

Distances:

La Cala town is 5 minutes walk away, where there is a nice selection of local shops, supermarket, restaurants, bars, cafes, a square where entertainment takes palce on various weekends. There are also small shops close to the apartment.

From La Cala you can visit by car many other areas, such as Marbella, Puerto Banus, Fuengirola, Mijas, Gibraltar, Malaga. Buses are suitable to visit Fuengirola and Marbella and excursion coaches can take you to a wider variety of places.

Further Details:

In La Cala there is a large selection of restaurants, some of which are on the beach or in the town itself. There is a large supermarket and various shops and banks etc. La Cala is enjoyed by locals, Spanish and European holiday makers. It is a small friendly town. With the square coming to life at weekends during the summer months (especially August), with free entertainment, be it musical or a film. Street people selling their wares, where children or adults can get their hair braided or henna tattoos to compliment your tan.
