Villa in Balcon al Mar, Javea, Costa Blanca - Peaceful Location Yet Close to All Amenities

Lovely sea and mountain views, with private garage, garden and pool. The villa is in a traditional Spanish style, nicely furnished and situated in a quiet area of Javea- Balcon al Mar, with restaurants bars and a supermarket close by.It has WIFI internet access ,a washing machine and satellite TV with English channels.The garden is large featuring mediterranean plants and there is an outdoor shower by the pool and a BBQ.There are sunloungers and a parasol for those long lazy summer days.

Im Jackie Sharpe and I live in Spain . I have 2 daughters, who now live in England, the youngest is in the Motor Trade and the eldest is a primary school teacher.I am early retired as my husband became very ill and you know what they say about life being too short! So we took the step to move to Spain about 11 years ago. I still visit the UK frequently and love both countries for different reasons. I dont regret our move to Javea ..its is so beautiful and so relaxing..Im sure you will think so to.

I now get a real buzz from seeing my holiday makers have a good time at my properties.

I enjoy eating out socialising with friends reading travel and Zumba!I also have a lovely holiday home in France..which I get to as often as I can..you would love this too..come visit soon .

I found it an ideal base for 4 adults with the villa having spectacular views over the bay,the pool was a welcome attraction and having a restaurant within walking distance is a bonus.Easy access to surrounding areas,Javea and all its amenities. Michael Manders .

The Villa was in fab location with wonderful views of the sea.

The location was quiet and well located. The villa is very comfortable with a very well equipped kitchen. My son particularly loved the pool which was not over looked and even had toys in the garage to use.

Perfect location for a relaxing holiday

It was the third time my husband and myself have stayed at the villa. Being set in a residential area only some of the properties are occupied and it gives a tranquil feel. The website details are accurate and the villa is spotless and well equipped and maintained. We have no hesitation in recommending the property to others. The swimming pool is superb. As we seek a relaxing break we do not venture far and enjoy eating on the Naya and then sitting on the roof terrace with coffee looking at the wonderful view to Javea and Montgo and the stars. We highly recommend the restaurant Azahar (next to the local small supermarket). The food and service is superb and we had dinner there three times on this visit. We also had dinner at the Cabo la Nao Restaurant. We had a prime table with the stunning view of the sea and lighthouse but were disappointed with the menu, service and quality of food this time. It has deteriorated since we visited in 2014.

Property as described. We had our large dog with us and the property was ideal. It is next to a small wood where we met many other dogs. Whilst all the dogs bark like mad when you pass their villa's all the dogs we met out were very friendly. The town of javea was friendly with most places speaking English. No problem in sitting outside/on terraces with the dog. Would visit again.

Activity and Interests

Nearest Airport : Alicante at 90 Kilometres Nearest Train : Denia at 15 Kilometres Car: recommended


There are numerous small coves and beaches all within a 5 min drive, the area is famous for its miradors (views) and several are within walking distance - La Barraca and Ambola and the Cap de la Nao lighthouse with its amazing views and excellent restaurants. Further beaches are within a 10 min drive ie the main Arenal and Grenadella national park.


Javea is approx 1 hour from Alicante airport and 1 hr 15 mins from Valencia airport, both make Javea easily accessible. Car hire is advisable to make the most of your holiday, although there is a bus route from Balcon al Mar into the Arenal and port areas.


Benidorm with its theme parks and nightlife is about 50 mins away. The Jalon Valley is about 30 mins. The beaches and port of Denia about 20 mins away and the beautifil hilltop village of Guadalest about 50 mins.

Further Details:

Walking, horse riding, cycling, golf and watersports are the popular activities. The area has good reasonably priced restaurants and a variety of shopping in the old town, the port and in the Arenal areas
