Villa nr Moraira, Bennisa Coast, Costa Blanca - Fully south-facing in a quiet area, 3 mins drive/12 mins walk to beach

Casa Lille is presented to a very high standard and is located in a quiet residential area, on a predominantly flat plot, 1.2km (3 mins drive) from the sea and local amenities. It is fully south facing for all day sun and is set in attractively landscaped gardens that afford excellent privacy. There are 3 bedrooms, all air-conditioned and with fitted wardrobes, 2 have en-suite shower rooms and the 3rd is next to the family shower room. The 2nd en-suite bedroom is located on the 1st floor in the turret and has its own private terrace with sea views. The open-plan dining and living areas on the ground floor lead onto a covered terrace with steps down to the spacious south-facing pool terrace and large, 10x5m, swimming pool that can optionally be heated. There is a built-in BBQ and a choice of outside seating areas for alfresco dining, including the covered pergola with its pretty ceramic furniture. The villa is extremely well equipped and has Satellite TV (UK terrestrial + Sky) & Internet access.

Wonderful Villa

We stayed at Casa Lille as a family of four, two adults and two older teenagers, for this first time in summer 2013.

When we arrived at the villa our first impressions of the villa and grounds exceeded our expectations.

This wonderful villa is situated in a quiet residential area and set in very pleasant and well maintained terraced gardens with many palm trees, flowering plants and shrubs all offering several different lovely seating areas around the property.

On entering the villa we were delighted with its high standard of presentation and immaculate cleanliness. All the rooms are very comfortable and well equipped. It had everything we needed to ensure our comfort.

During our stay we especially enjoyed the lovely large pool and pretty outside dining area and barbeque.

When not relaxing around the pool we ventured out to explore local beaches, enjoyed snorkelling, jet skiing and quad biking. We also ventured inland to explore lovely mountain villages, enjoy festivals, swim in waterfalls and wander around the local markets. During some evenings we also enjoyed wandering around the lovely resort of Moraira which has a lovely un-commercialised and happy atmosphere with many good restaurants.

Debbie and Steve, the owners of Casa Lille, made us feel very welcome and very comfortable during our stay, recommending places to visit and answering any queries we may have had. We have no hesitation in recommending this delightful villa; we have rebooked to stay again this summer 2014, and are sure this will not be our last visit.

Outstanding Villa

We first stayed at Casa Lille in 2006 and have returned each year. The villa is always immaculate, very tastefully furnished, well equipped and maintained to an extremely high standard and situated in a quiet residential area. The villa grounds are beautiful with palm trees, shrubs and flowers with different areas where we can relax in the shade or sunbathe round the pool. The location is ideal to visit the nearby town and beach at Calpe and only a short drive to Moraira, our favourite place to visit, it has a lovely family atmosphere with cafes, bars and restaurants. There is also a book provided in the villa giving details and recommendations of restaurants in the area which is very helpful. We enjoy going to the market at Moraira each Friday and there is a wonderful fruit and vegetable market at Altea. The town of Guadalest high up in the mountains is well worth visiting, it has spectacular views, a beautiful church and quaint little shops. The owners of Casa Lille, Debbie & Steve, have become very good friends over the years, they call at the villa each week to clean and check the pool and tend to the gardens and have a chat and always make us feel very welcome. Casa Lille is a wonderful villa, we would definitely recommend it and we intend to return for many years to come, we think of it as our second home.

The local beach 'Cala Fustera' is a few minutes drive down the hill/12 min walk. Cala Fustera is a natural sandy beach with blue flag status (2004/05) -during the summer months there are refreshment and bathroom facilities available as well as several restaurant/bars within easy strolling distance. There are 6 further small beaches along the Benissa coast line. The large, sandy beaches at Calpe are about 5 mins drive and the picturesque beaches of Moraira and El Portet around 10-15 mins drive.


Casa Lille is approx 60 mins from Alicante Airport and 75 mins from Valencia airport. Car hire is recommended. Whilst amenities are approx 1.5km from the villa there is a fairly steep incline if walking to return to the villa.


Casa Lille is located off the main coast road between the stylish town of Moraira (approx 7km) with it's beautiful marina, many bars, restaurants and the larger bustling town of Calpe (approx 3km) with it's wide range of amenities and presence of Penon d´Ifach.

The popular town and beaches of Javea are approx 20 mins drive and Benidorm, that offers a selection of Theme and Water Parks, as well as numerous other activities and excellent beaches, is approx 30 mins drive.

Further Details:

There is a small bar/restaurant within a short walk (500m) from the villa and a poolside bar/restarurant within 5 minutes walk at Parque Casablanca. The local supermarket is at the bottom of the hill (approx 1.2km) approx 10 mins walk and offers an excellent selection of local and British produce and newspapers, there are 2 larger supermarkets less than 5 minutes drive away on the edge of Calpe. There is a wide choice of bars and restaurants all along the coast road and also in the nearby towns of Calpe (3km), Moraira (7km) and Javea (15km). For those that enjoy the countryside the Jalon Valley, where you can enjoy a selection of Spanish country cooking, is a 20 min drive. There are a wide range of activities available in the area including; tennis, horse riding, golf, scuba diving, angling, jet skiing or sailing, as well as some spectacular walks either along the coast or further inland.

A 25% deposit is required to secure any booking. The balance is to be paid 8 (eight) weeks prior to the commencement of the rental period. In addition, a security deposit of £200 is required. The deposit will be returned, once the villa has been checked by our agent, subject to no serious damage at the villa having occurred during your stay.

Changeover Day:
During the summer period we are only able to accept Saturday to Saturday bookings.

  • Notes on accommodation: The villa is extremely well equipped and furnished to an excellent starndard. All bedrooms have air-conditioning & hairdryers are supplied. There is under-floor heating and a gas log burner for winter lets. Internet access is included on request. Satelitte TV : UK Terrestial, SKy Entertainment & Sky Sports HD. The pool can optionally be heated for non-summer lets (POA). A beach towel is provided for each guest for the duration of the rental. There is secure off-road parking (behind gates) for up to 2 cars. Outside: A covered terrace area with seating leads off of the dining area. Steps then take you down to a spacious terrace area, around the rectangular 10x5m private pool, that provides ample room for sun bathing. For al fresco eating there is a choice of a table & chairs on the pool terrace or you can sit under the shady pergola with it's pretty ceramic furniture. Next to the pergola is a large built-in BBQ & a fridge/freezer (in the pool-house). The pool has roman steps at the shallow end & can be illuminated at night - it has a depth of 1.2 to 2.2m. By the pool there is an outside shower facility. The pool can optionally be heated to 28oC (PoA). The garden is attractively landscaped with large palm trees providing privacy and a tropical atmosphere. There are 6 sun-loungers and we provide cushions for the outside chairs, parasols (3) and pool side tables (3). At the rear of the villa there are 2 lounge chairs with foot stools under a 2nd pergola/awning for those who enjoy some 'quiet' time. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels, bed linen, bath mats and T-towels are included, with laundry change per week. A beach towel per guest, bed throw & duvet (winter lets) are provided as well as a welcome grocery pack, condiments & complimentary bottle of Cava.
