Secluded Luxury Private Villa in Quiet Residential Coastal Village with wifi.

Updated: 07-Oct-2016
Traditional Villa in Binisafua, Nr Binibeca - with Private Pool & Sea Views. WiFI avail. Holds Official Menorcan Tourist Authority Licence.

Only 75 metres from the sea, this idyllic villa is in a quiet residential area, without all the usual trappings of a holiday resort. A sandy beach is only a 10min walk away, and a great tapas bar is within a 5min stroll. A 15min coastal walk will bring you to the picturesque village of Binibeca, so this villa enjoys a marvellous location for those wishing to leave the hustle and bustle (and car!) behind. However, a short 5km drive or bus ride will bring you to the capital of Mahon, with it's great nightlife, restaurants and shops.

This secluded villa, with private pool, has a covered gazebo for outdoor dining, as well as shelter from the sun - and the covered porch is ideal for relaxing on balmy evenings and enjoying the sea view. In addition, there is a delightful totally private walled courtyard, ideal for intimate dining, or a quiet breakfast!

"Just dropping you a line to let you know how much we enjoyed our week at your beautiful villa. We loved every minute of our stay and we are seriously thinking of booking again for next year. I have stayed at many villas and this has to be the best I have stayed at." A.Tharp.

"Thank you very much for allowing us to rent your villa. It is truly wonderful in design, decoration, location... in fact it had everything we needed for a great holiday." B.Pearson

"The villa was fantastic - just what we were looking for - clean, great bathrooms and kitchen - We had such a relaxed holiday - swimming in the pool, wandering down to the sea shore - swimming off the rocks at the end of the road - or diving off the rocks into the bay. All in all excellent!"

We've been staying at Casa Delfin for the past eleven years and we will be returning again next year. I'm not sure I can do it justice in this review but I hope the fact that we have been returning year after year will speak for itself (and please be assured that we're not "sad", we do visit other places throughout the year!). Casa Delfin is situated in a quiet, scenic location with the sea at the end of the cul-de-sac and the local, child-friendly beach a short walk away. An added bonus is a great bar/restaurant, Club Nautico, just a couple of hundred yards down the road where you can enjoy a meal or drink (or both) and watch the sun go down - beautiful! The villa itself is charming and traditional but with enough "mod cons" to make it feel like a "home from home". There's plenty of space inside and out to just sit back and relax in pure comfort. Rest assured though that if there are any issues there's a great team to deal with them quickly and efficiently. If you want to explore a little further afield, we would recommend hiring a car. Menorca is a lovely island with lots to offer. "Must dos" for us are the trotting races in Sant Lluis on a Saturday evening, the beach at Cala Mitjana, a wander around Cuitadella and a half-day boat hire from Fornells where you can visit the less accessible beaches and coves (far more attention to health and safety at Fornells than at the more "tourist resorts".). BOOK NOW (but now "our week"!). I very much doubt you will be disappointed.

lovely villa in a lovely location

  • 4 of 5

Casa Delfin is a lovely villa in a lovely location and perfect for a real chill out holiday. We travelled as a family of four including two teenage boys and were looking for somewhere that was not slap bang in the middle of a noisy tourist resort but at the same time not out in the middle of nowhere as we didn't want to hire a car. To be fair it would probably have been easier if we had hired a car in terms of being able to get about and if we'd been staying for longer than a week it may have been an issue not easily being able to get to different places as the public transport wasn't regular and taxis almost impossible to get, however we did manage and had a couple of trips out - we went on the little train into Punta Prima and from there got the hourly bus to Mahon (unfortunately Mahon was closed by the time we got there - siesta) but it looked very nice. Binibeca Vell was lovely with plenty of places to eat (although not always the best quality or speed of service) and only a very pleasant 10 minute walk from the villa with beautiful views en route. The villa itself is very nice and provided everything we needed with a lovely pool (unheated so a bit of a shock to the system when you first get in but fine after a minute or two and a great way to cool down), with plenty of sunbeds around the pool. The villa itself is well equipped with plenty of space. This has been our first visit to Menorca and I'm sure won't be the last.

Owner's Response: Thank you, D for your lovely review and feedback. I hope you will return soon, and I'll make sure that the numbers of reliable taxi firms are left in the villa, for those who do not wish to hire a car. Regards J

Character property in quiet location close to the sea

  • 5 of 5

Lovely villa with a great pool for swimming. Joyce, the owner couldn't be more helpful with great communication and a great local team to support her. We had a good relaxing time here with some nice local beaches that provided fantastic snorkeling. Good restaurant within a few minutes walk, but need to book at busy times. Look forward to returning.

A very lovely traditional Spanish villa

  • 4 of 5

The property was well located, beach near by, and a supermarket and a few bars and restaurant a fifteen minute stroll away! On our last night there is a bar and restaurant just down the road over looking the sea, recommend it !

The property was well laid out, clean and well stocked with crockery and cutlery. There were a few things that needed to be replaced but very minor. Mosquitos were a bit of an issue ,but used lots of replents !

The villa was in a quiet location, villas all around a view of the sea, even though it was a small view!!! A car would be preferable as there are so many lovely places and beaches to see!

Will definitely visit the island and villa again!!
