Villa in Campoamor, Costa Blanca - Peaceful Location, 5 mins Stroll to Beach, Bars, Restaurants and Golf courses

The house is situated over 3 floors and is perfect with privacy in mind for families and anyone who enjoys a peaceful beach holiday. The house is set on an incline giving it amazing sea views (the beach is a 5 min stroll away). In the area there are daily markets, golf courses, waterparks and plenty of local towns with their own individualism. The house is very modern and is equipped with all conveniences including tv. There are 2 twin en-suite bedrooms on the ground floor with ceiling fans.The 1st floor has a shower/WC, kitchen and lounge area, as well as a balcony with sea view. 2nd floor has 1 twin room and 1 double room with private balcony. Both have ceiling fans. There is a large bathroom. The communal pool is 30 metres from the house and is very private and safe (photo included). The area is peaceful at night, so there is no worry of noise from bars and discos, but they can be visited in Cabo Roig( 5 min drive) if wanted. In short, it's a fantastic place to holiday.

About Kevin Quinn

Hello to you all. My name is Kevin, I am 45 Years old and live in west London. We have had our house in Campoamor for about 9 years and always love going there. I have 2 children, aged 14 and 13, who both love the outdoors and look forward to our family vacations.

I am self employed and have always lived in the Chiswick area.

Why Kevin Quinn chose Dehesa de Campoamor

When looking to purchase a holiday home there were many requirements I wanted, and I believe that Campoamor fits them all.

1. Easy to get to from the UK. We fly from Gatwick to Murcia and only have a 15 min journey once we arrive in Spain. It could not be easier. There are plenty of flights and the cost is usually very reasonable.

2. Near the beach. Our road is on an incline, giving us a beautiful view of the sea. We are only a 5 min stroll to the most beautiful beach.

3. Pool is so important with children. The Pool is only 30 metres from the house, so the children can run around for a cooling dip any time of the day/evening.

4. Home from home. I have emphasised on a homely feel to the house. All mod cons with TV, private bathrooms.

5. No night time noise. V important.

What makes this villa unique

What is so convenient about my house in Victoria Playa, Campoamor, is that all you require is so local. We have restaurants, an ice cream parlour, supermarket, church, Yacht club, picnic areas, 2 beaches, bars, tennis courts and internet access all within a 5 min stroll.

If you have a hire car, you can even park right next to the beach without fear of getting a parking ticket! Bliss!

If you want a more active type of holiday, there are plenty of bars/restaurants/clubs all within a 5 min cab ride or 30 min walk. The taxis are reliable, safe and cheap.

For those who like to keep busy during the day, there are plenty of outdoor markets (where you pick up the best local produce at really cheap prices), walks and interesting towns to visit.

We had lovely weather in the October break and it was very peaceful. The house is well equipped, very spacious and clean. No internet but the owner says he is getting it soon.

Notes on accommodation: For winter rentals there are heaters available in the property. There is a travel cot in the house with linen to fit. The house is all tiled in a stylish manner keeping the inside cool in the hot summer months. The house is situated on a road with an incline, therefore there are cool breezes into the house throughout the hot months. Outside: There is a private front garden to the house which is tiled. The shared pool is 30 metres from the front door. On leaving the house you turn left along the pathway and up steps to the pool. There is no road to cross to get to the pool, so it is very safe for children going to and from the house. The house is on a loop road so there is no through traffic, allowing for peaceful days/evenings if required. Utility Room: All utilities are in the kitchen, which is a good size. This includes new ( Feb 2013) washing machine, new ( Feb 2013) fridge/freezer, microwave, oven, juicer, dish washer. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Linen and towels provided (please bring your own beach towels). The property will be cleaned before entry and will be cleaned on departure. You simply leave all the washing in the basket in the kitchen and all will be done for you. Other: The hallways and staircases are all floor tiled in a very tasteful manner. The house has is plenty of wardrobe space. The fans will keep everyone cool at night, even in the middle of summer. The front garden has a tap to wash down from the beach.

Great , relaxing holiday

My husband and I went to the Villa in Summer . We really enjoyed our stay . The walk to the beach is only 7 minutes away . The beach is lovely with a small bar , which serves food and drinks .

The Villa is very spacious ( 3 floors ) , great for 2 families , with kitchen and sitting / dining room in the middle .

The place is well equipped , but if you need anything extra , just contact the owner beforehand , he is very accommodating and can provide any extras .

There is a good choice of restaurants with lovely local cheap wine . Our favourite was " the Italian affair ". There are also great pubs . Our favourite was " Paddys point ", an Irish pub with lots of TV screens to watch football :), ( my husband was very happy! ).

We would definitely recommend this place to anyone .

I'm 14 and went to this villa with my family i had an awesome time there are so many great facilities near by the water park is my favorite a whole day in the sunshine with my siblings. The strip is also great so many places to eat and drink the Chinese buffet was the best. I think this is one of the best holidays i have been on and its a great place to come with family. Its really good how the kids can just watch a movie inside while the adults sit on the balcony and chat , they also had quite i wide range of movies already there witch was even better.

one of my highlights was going for our evening swims its a good way to finish of a busy day.

A perfect holiday

Last summer me and my family had a very enjoyable experience the kids loved it and they cant wait to go back.The villa is three flours and 4 bedrooms , the beds were very comfy and the balcony views are just beautiful. I would highly recommend the villa for families or young travelers.

Special interest holidays:

For those holiday makers who like Golf, Sailing, walking and local culture this is a fantastic place to base yourself. The courses are green and beautifully tended and reasonably priced.

The local yacht club offers great opportunity for day trips out at sea, whilst their fabulous dining and bar areas do not require membership.

Local markets and historic buildings and churches are all close by. The numerous towns and villages offer different cultural experiences and they all have outdoor markets spread throughout the week.


The beach is a 8 min walk and is beautiful.If you want to drive down it will take you 2 mins and you can park directly next to the beach without any parking fees. It is a golden sand beach, with amenities for children, including a huge climbing frame, volleyball nets and small football goals. There are beach bars in the high season.

The red cross patrol the beach in high season, even though the waters are generally calm and very safe.


Murcia/San Javier airport is 15 min drive away and Alicante 50 min drive.


Cabo Roig is 5 min drive away. Here there are plenty of bars/restaurants and it is generally where all the holidaymakers socialise in the evening. The historical town of Torrevieja is 15 min drive to the north and the market town of Pilar De La Horadada is 15 min drive to the south.

Further Details:

At Cabo Roig there are supermarkets, bars, cafes ( with internet access), restaurants and banks. La Manga , sports resort, is a 45 mins drive away. The town of Torrevieja is 15 mins away and it has wide paved boulevards, waterside bars/ restaurants, markets and boutique stores.

In Torrevieja there is a fantastic waterpark, which is a must see for all families.
