Undoubtedly one of the nicest homes in Binibeca, Villa Alhubara sits serenely on a hillside. Facing south towards the Mediterranean sea, uninterrupted views stretch over turquoise blue waters.

One of the most outstanding features of this property is the upstairs terrace, offering panoramic views in very direction. The villa's location puts you within easy reach of one of Menorca's best white sand swimming beaches, just over half a kilometre from the home.

This elegant residence has all modern amenities and is appointed with guests' comfort in mind. The outdoor living space is completed by the purpose-built barbecue and the heated swimming pool which is gated and has Roman steps at the shallow end for easy access into the water. Three illuminated outdoor eating areas provide a relaxing place to retire after sunset and fragrant jasmine and trumpet flower scent the night air. The lawned garden is fenced and gated and has ample space to play.

Stunning villa.

We have had a weeks stay at this stunning villa, the property was very clean throughout, and well maintained. Great sea views from the upstairs bedroom and balcony, the heated pool area and gardens were realy good to relax in. The villa is based in a fantastic location with a nice mix of restaurants and small supermarkets, there is a lovely beach with golden sand, very clean toilets, and a nice beach bar done in a rustic theme, Johanna is the perfect owner who made sure our stay was as perfect as it could be. I would not hesitate to recommend this villato anyone who is looking for a beautiful place to stay. David Bowyer.

OUTSTANDING

Just returned from a two week stay at this Villa, the best we have ever stayed at in Spain and Portugal, 4 adults and two children, it does sleep 8. The Villia is maintained to a very high standard with outstanding and breath taking views from a number areas around the Villa.

The pool area was very secluded with a shower, clean with very good sun beds with space to be in the sun or shade all day plus a large grass area.There were five areas to eat , two inside and three outside, even when we had guests for dinner and using the pool there was still plenty room everywhere for everyone to relax and enjoy themselves.

The booking process was smooth, professional & friendly. Johanna (the owner) was very helpful and quick to reply to any queries or questions or give advice, the taxi transfer company to and from the airport were very good which was recommend by Johanna and she lives local to the Villa if there are any issues, she was there to welcome us on our arrival.

All of the facilities at the Villa are well maintained and equiped , the rooms are spacious, clean and well furnished.

Amazing

This was our first villa holiday and I have to say we were blown away! The location and views were fantastic and the space both inside and out were more than ample for our two families (inc a 5 year old who did not want to leave the pool)! It really is a home from home with all needs catered for and the welcome & suggestions we received from Johanna far exceeded any 5 star hotel. We would highly recommend this villa and would not hesitate to return.

A gem

What a find. This villa has everything, a real home from home. It was a pleasure to find that the needs of guests had been well catered for, the 'little extras' provided make such a difference. The outside eating areas are lovely, the views are amazing. Plenty of space for our 3 families inside and out. The lovely pool was well utilised and has plenty of space around it for sun bathing/ relaxing.

We met the owner Johanna, she is a lovely lady and very aware of the needs of families with young children. Cots, bedding and stair gates were all provided at no additional charge.

I have no hesitation in recommending this property. Its proximity to the lovely village of Binibeca, the local restaurants, shops and little beach is perfect. Just can't wait to visit again.

Location

From the Owner

When I bought Villa Alhubara, it was a very basic 3-bedroom bungalow badly in need of renovation and modernisation. Gradually, over the years it has been transformed into the lovely home it is today. What was once an overgrown plot with wild bushes, rocks and some trees is now a well tended lawned garden with shrub and flower borders. In 2001 the upstairs floor was added to the property, not only to provide more space, but also to take maximum advantage of the panoramic sea views. As the villa is our winter home, it is furnished and equipped generously and comfortably. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do!

Coast/Beach:

It is approx. 10 mins walk to nearest sandy beach. The resort area of Binibeca, characterised by private white washed villas and a Spanish style fishing village complex, is perfect for a quieter, relaxing holiday. The fine white sandy gently shelving beach (ideal for families with children) is surrounded by greenery, giving it an unspoilt setting. Sun loungers and pedaloes are available for hire and there is a beach bar set on rocks to the side of the beach for snacks and drinks.

Travel:

12km to Mahon Airport. Between May and October there is a regular bus service to and from Mahon with connections to other parts of Menorca. However, you may prefer to hire a car with which to explore the island’s beaches, coves and villages.

Distances:

4km to San Lluis. 12km to Mahón.

Golf:

Golf Son Parc, a championship quality course ideal for beginners and experienced golfers alike, is located approximately 35 minutes by car from Binibeca.

Further Details:

A small supermarket (5 mins. walk), several restaurants (5 - 10 mins. walk) and a bus stop are located nearby. Banks, a petrol station, a large supermarket and a wide range of shops, bars and restaurants can be found in San Luis (8 mins. by car).
