Villa in Moraira, Costa Blanca - Excellent Location, Close To Town And Very Private

This fully air-conditioned, detached, 4 bedroom villa is divided into 2 separate levels allowing 2 families to holiday comfortably together. On the upper floor there is a double bedroom (en-suite), a large twin bedroom, a family bathroom, fully equipped kitchen, lounge and a dining room to seat 6. A naya leads off the lounge and provides outside seating/dining with a sea-view. Downstairs there is a lounge with 2 luxury sofabeds, a kitchen, 2 bedrooms (1 double and 1 bunkroom) and a bathroom. A large covered terrace with dining table and chairs, leads off the lounge and overlooks the large private pool and extensive sunbathing terrace, containing ample loungers to relax on. Televisions, DVD players and iPod docking stations are present upstairs and down. There is also a floodlit outdoor BBQ area with further dining facilities. The large grounds offer beautiful shady seating areas. Private parking for up to 3 cars is provided behind secure gates.

Excellent property, fantastic pool - beautiful location (travelled with two children under 5)

We have just returned from a wonderful holiday at Casa Mari. The villa was excellent with good inside and outside spaces. We travelled as a family of 4 (children of 3 and 1) plus a set of grandparents. Having the two separate living areas worked really well as my parents could get away. The large space inside allowed for the children to be out of the heat without becoming claustrophobic. Villa was comfortable and had everything we needed - the BBQ/griddle was a firm favourite. Plenty of space outside too with 3 different eating areas, sunny and shady spots. The children loved the pool and, as it was on a separate terrace, it was simple to block entrance to that terrace to prevent over enthusiastic toddlers diving in! I had been keen to book somewhere with a gated pool but this worked well.

The property manager was very helpful and friendly and we had good communication with owner before and after stay.

Moraira itself was a short distance, we drove and it was 5 minutes, we walked home one evening (without the children and it took half an hour as it is uphill on the way home). Had two excellent meals in Moraira and found a great tapas bar next to a playground. Beaches were lovely, play park for younger children, lots and lots of restaurants.

Finally - things to be aware of......mosquitos....we were all bitten so take a variety of repellents. Additionally the downstairs living area was much smaller than the upstairs so it two families are going you might need to consider this. All in all a wonderful place - totally relaxed now and hating being home. Would highly recommend

Delightful villa.Really suitable for families,plenty of different sunbathing areas (having been here before) especially the new upper terrace,you are really spoiled for choice as to where to chill out.Villa is really well equipped with every utensil you require.Villa is set in a lovely peaceful area yet only a five minute drive to the town and beach.

Good helpful communication with the owner throughout.

The villa is less than 5 minute drive to the beach and town of Moraira, there are further beaches within a 20 minute drive, details of which can be found in the villa, there will definitely be a beach to suit all tastes. There are many fantastic restaurants in the area and again details can be found in the villa.

Travel:

Alicante airport is 55 minutes away whilst Valencia airport is about 75 minutes away.

Distances:

Sailing, marina and yacht clubs in Moraira and Javea (15 min drive). Mountain walking in the local vicinity. Tennis, Sol park, 1km. Freshwater fishing, reservoirs within 30 min drive. Go-karts, Font Santa, 2km. Jet skis, Moraira, between castle and marina. Parasailing, windsurfing, kitesurfing, kayaks and catamarans (between Moraira and Calpe, 15 min drive). Terra Mitica and Mundomar theme parks (30 min drive). Caves- Canelabre (30 min drive). Safari parks - Vergel and Aitana (30 min).

Further Details:

Local shops and supermarkets within 5 min drive of the villa as are banks and restaurants in the town.

  • Notes on accommodation: The villa was redecorated throughout at the start of 2007 and all furniture was then brand new. The whole villa was rewired in March 2008, with other electrics and lighting improved. Villa was repainted in 2014. New double glazing in January 2008. A dishwasher was fitted in October 2011 and a new shower and shower cubicle fitted in the upstairs en-suite. The pool was fully refurbished in March 2012. Security is excellent, large lockable driveway gates. Superb location for the town of Moraira and suitable for families with children or groups of friends. Outside: Large terrace around a 9m x 4m swimming pool, sun all day long. The pool has walk in Roman steps. The pool was fully refurbished in March 2012. The villa has two covered terraces and several other seating areas in large well stocked grounds. There is an outdoor barbecue with dining area. Car parking for 2/3 cars. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Bedsheets and towels (not beach towels) provided and changed once a week. Pool cleaned once a week. Other: Dining room, seats 6. Two covered terraces with dining for 6 on each. Hotel style safe for your valuables in upstairs cupboard. Two hairdryers provided.
